Guess The Artist

Guess the artist or name of painting. Plenty of illustrations and levels. Learning mode. Good - learning some Russian artists I didn't know.

Wasn't happy the app started talking Russian to me after I agreed to rate it, even though before that it was in English and I haven't asked to change the language.

This game has random notifications that pop up which are written in Cyrillic as well as about 1/4 to 1/3 of the artwork in question is by Russian (I think) artists. Another 1/4 of artwork given is van Gogh. Ive taken a few art history classes but don't know more than 1 or 2 Russian/Slav artists, so I had a hard time with this. Just a heads up if this makes a difference to you.

After completing one section some instructions (?) appeared written I Russian. I need English

Almost only Van Gogh and russian painters. Questions on repeat. Not recommend. Sorry.

Не очень логично видеть следующую картину выползающей слева, она каждый раз ожидается справа (там новое, "прогресс", так привычнее тому кто пишет слева направо) и вообще наверно переход к следующей можно осуществлять по нажатию, то есть я сама решаю когда следующая. А вообще очень понравилось)

Nice. Has a bit too many Russian painters not well known outside the Iron Curtain.

Great fun learning. Love the Russian artists. Would like to see collections of genres or countries of origin in development.

Love this game. Challenging yet fun. No difficult goals so no anxiety. Similar to flash cards but it's enjoyable.

I suggest pronunciation of the artists names... Great way to learn the painting for beginners!

Simple game play but very relaxing and efficient. Recommended it to my family.

Includes Russian art which is fabulous but usually not included in the usual array of western art

The only thing I would suggest is to have the collections extendable (add more paintings and questions, and each new set could be purchased separately), otherwise once you reach the end - it's the end.
