Some bugs; some longer English words like "Train Station" appear off screen when on the left hand side. "You're welcome " appears " You"e; re welcome." I also have an issue with tapping a bubble and the correct answer but it appearing to be incorrect. If I tap the bubble a second time and the same answer, it works just fine. Not quite sure why. Otherwise, a fun little way to learn kanji for common words. Hopefully, more vocab packs will be offered in the future; you can run through it all fairly quickly.

The program is great and it is ready for a non native speaker to catch on quickly. The only drawback is that the graphics are in pink on my phone, and they are hard to read against the background. Therefore, I lose the ability to distinguish subtle difference in some of the characters. Making the contrast higher or giving the ability to click on a character and enlarge the graphic would be awesome and then I'd give the program a 5!

Really good app for learning Japanese! I like that each vocabulary category has a gradual difficulty to it. My one problem preventing me from giving it five stars is that when looking at the vocabulary list for a section, the pake pink font is hard to read on the light blue background.

I love the way it goes from listening to reading to mixed and then speeding it up. It really does challenges a person to learn on the spot and to memorize in a fun way. I also like that it has the vocabulary there for you to study afterwards as well. This is one of the best language vocabulary learning tools i have found in a long time.

I'm learning japanese and this app really helps me drill stuff in. I do t think I'll ever forget how to count to ten ever again, just for starters. Fair warning: the adds do pop up after everything

It is eady and fun along with learning. The only complaint i have is that as the lvls get higher, there are more options and my eyes or brain cant keep up with it and find the right option before the bubble goes away. If the bubbles would slow down a bit as the lvls get higher or if there was an option for speed, that would be helpful

There is a lot of vocabulary and the method is great for learning and practicing! However, the app glitches a lot. Sometimes the bubbles freeze for a few seconds and sometimes a word appears without a bubble which disallows the player from being able to get points from that word. Also, is there a way to make more options like disabling the background flowers from moving, disabling bubble popping sound, disabling background music, and changing font colors? Overall I like the app, I just wish it wouldn't glitch so much.

<<>> When I first installed this app, I was too new to the language to play it. I think with the addition of a text page with the vocab linked to the same sound files used in the game people could start playing with zero prior knowledge. However a month or so later I came back and tried the number & color levels- that was great! Lovely design, fun, challenging, helps build up links between the sounds and symbols, and an impressive array of topics. Well done. Arigatou!

Been studying Japanese for over 4 years now. I can read the kana fluidly and a handful of kanji. I basically downloaded this to sort of supplement my vocabulary and it's doing a pretty good job at that. Could this be used to learn the whole language? I'm not sure, but for learning words, it's a lot better than constantly referring to a dictionary.

I just started learning Japanese - I think it would be better if we had a choice to view it in hiragana, katakana, Kanji or a mixture of my choosing. Currently the only reason why I'm able to chose some of the correct answers is due to my knowledge of Chinese characters. After all when you start learning Japanese, the first thing you learn is the hiragana chart

Great way to review vocab. This is a good supplement to other language study materials which focus so much on grammar but not enough on basic vocab. drills. One big issue: I wish the kanji had kana printed above it in the flashcards section. If I don't know how to read the kanji, I can't exactly learn new vocab. It's also sometimes hard for me to make out what the audio is saying in level 1, but kana would help me to make sense of things without having to pause the game and consult a dictionary. (For example, the flashcard review had only the kanji for the world "purple," and I didn't know how to say it. I listened to the audio in round 1 of the game, but still couldn't make it out. Had to Google the word before I could move on in the game. Kana over the kanji would solve the problem.)

The words are hard to read with the color and background. And large paywall of course. Would buy if it were a bit more legible.

10/10: I've spent a lot of time downloading and then undownloading a lot of quote-unquote Japanese learning games. And nothing comes close to the simplistic fun of this bubble popping game. It's also got a lot of really good categories and helps with simplistic vocabulary. But I digress, it's a fun tool to have under your Japanese learning belt.

Played, bought, and loved it. Tsuki desu onegai. (Please devs if you can make a volume setting for music so you can turn it down to hear the voice.) I Tsuki pon pon desu

I would have put 5 stars except for the kana. To go straight from hiragana to Kanji is hard as hell. It takes away from learning the language for us beginners.

Great vocabulary building game! Sometimes the purple text on the blue background can be difficult to read, but once the bubble rises a bit it becomes easier. I will recommend it to my study group.

It's a pretty nice game that teaches you some basic vocabulary and makes you read. The only draw back to me is that you can't change the writing to Kanji.

X70%

Very slow and easy progression as you start with 2 choices and then eventually get up to 10 when learning vocab. Things speed up as the levels get harder and it really tests if you were paying attention. Love this app.

X70%
by X####:

I'm really loving this the only thing I think would be super helpful is having a section where you can see the stroke orders so we can practice writing them as well. Other then that I find myself a little addicted and love the style.

The mechanics are not all there. If you redo a level a couple of times it'll just add up all the scores instead of comparing them. And if you redo a level a couple of times and move ahead it'll skip a couple of levels instead of the immediate next level. There's no way to choose a new category or back track out of a level without closing and reopening the game. Some of the words are said either in the alternative/ uncommon way rather than the more common. The vocabulary is limited and I believe should be written in different forms besides kanji and occasional katakana. I downloaded this app to help me study Japanese in addition to being in a physical Japanese class every school day. Its good but it can be a lot better.

A really fun game and it's very good for intermediate learners and beginners trying to memorize different kanji. I've come across a couple bugs but nothing out of the ordinary. Enjoying it very much and is definitely helping to improve my Japanese

Overstuffed with ads, and the apps still hides content behind a paywall. There are better, less greedy Japanese learning apps on the playstore.

Can you make the words in black font or any dark coloured font. Using light pink for the words is not really cool. Thanks

Great app, wish they could have like a mini lesson before the game so you understand how each word looks like and sounds like, wish all the themes such as family were free, but overall great game, this is more like a review app.

This app makes learning process really fun. The way it switches from sounds to written text is great for studying both forms to get a hang of basic vocabulary in Japanese. I'm really enjoying using this app.

The game idea is great and the demand for easy to use language tools like this will only increase, but there are a couple of issues that kind of ruin the experience for me. #1. Game is crashing very often, I can only play one or two levels before the game crash, I got a Samsung Galaxy s6 with Android 6, so it is a fairly common phone with latest Android and the game still crash regularly. #2. Adds are very intrusive and show up with too high frequency, to the point were I feel like abandoning the app and search for another one with less ads. I don't mind some ads in free apps like this, but if the app shows me the same fullscreen ad, 3 times in 5 minutes, then it will just become an annoyance. 3. Higher contrast on the text would be great as pointed out by a few other people before me. Pink on light blue is not a good choice, even though I think it's cute. #4. It would be great to be able to choose which game mode to play, or at least put a note on each level on the screen where you select which level to play, indicating if the level is sound or text only or if it's high speed or slow speed. If it only says "Level 5" I have no idea what I should expect until the game starts and it shows the instructions. The ability to see the game mode before entering a level would allow me to focus my learning on reading or listening depending on what I feel like I need to practice more. #5. Save stats on different categories indicating failure/success rate for numbers, animals, body parts, etc. This way it will show me which categories I need to practice more on as well as allowing me to see how I improve. Nothing motivates me more than seeing actual numbers indicating my improvement, going from just grasping the basics all the way to mastery. #6. Include a list hiragana and katakana with English pronunciation, this would help complete beginners to Japanese to complete the text only levels, I know there are plenty of other apps just for practicing kana, but if possible I don't like to switch apps all the time, and I think the bubbles would actually be great for just practising kana as well. A beginner will definitely need to learn the pronunciation of kana before reading, thus including this feature would definitely be a good idea for an app like this! #7. Add an option to remove the music or adjust the volume. #conclusion: I think that's all for now, the concept and the idea of the app is great, but it is lacking in stability and it definitely needs more work, the app just feels incomplete and almost like a beta release, I do hope the developers will be able to improve it in the future though!

Great game my big issue is that for vocab that is listening to the word only most of the time the word will not trigger. Please fix in a future update!!!!

The game is very informational and fun! I love that it makes you listen, read, match, and then does combos. It really gets your mind working. I use this app all the time to help me with my Japanese! For the developers- Game issues: I have found quite a few bugs (especially in the body parts section or after playing longer than 10 minutes) including empty bubbles stuck at the bottom of the screen, kanji/kana without bubbles that can't be selected but still count against you, and at least one game breaking run time error that expects a new string and comes up nil. UI/UX comments: The background music on the home screen and between levels is about 5 times louder than the spoken words during gameplay, so you get blasted every time you finish a level. There should be a way to adjust the music volume along with the already present mute button. I actually like the music! There is no back button to get out of levels or out of the settings menu. If I hit the back button on my phone, I am asked if I want to quit the game. I don't, but if I want to choose a different level or exit settings without choosing a difficulty, I have to restart the app. Sometimes the bubbles overlap each other and make it hard to read the kanji/kana. Also, though I think the background picture on the levels is very nice, the bottom section is multicoloured and makes reading the bubbles difficult for the first few seconds they are on screen. I hope this info helps you! Thank you for developing such a great educational app!!!
