This game forces me to quickly remember Kanjis. I think it is a good thing because it gives you motivation to win the fight, by memorizing ramdom Kanjis. The only thing I want to fix here is the grammar lapses when explaining the game. All in all, this game gives you both fun and Kanji knowledge. Very interactive!
This is a good application for practicing Kanji and reinforcing knowledge of the Japanese language. Not only that but it is also quite fun and fairly humorous. It's good for burning time throughout the day but be careful as the levels require some concentration and take awhile to complete.
It's good. But the tutorial is to long and annoying on world one. No option to turn it off makes this annoying for learn as you go type players
It seems fun but it won't let me buy the full game if I ever get to play I will change my rating
Finally some people coming up with fun ways to learn languages. Thanks!
I don't know why am I writing Chinese character (or Japanese) they look the same. But it drives me crazy when it's say wrong even when I drew the word in correct way
Just wondering why the devs won't allow payment via google play credit... not everyone has the freedom to use cards...
The tutorial does more harm than good. The biggest problem is that all the tutorial messages come up so abruptly that you can't see what the result of what you've done is. This makes the portion of the game during the tutorial feel totally disconnected, and I found myself mashing through all the messages without reading them (they were fairly repetitive anyway) just to get past the tutorial so I could start figuring out the game for real without constantly being interrupted. Other than that, this game has potential as a basic vocabulary tool, if it would just give you kanji challenges more frequently. The running sections teach you nothing and are easy. Graphics are fairly cute.
Not Awesome. It won't let me buy the rest of the game. I have money, but it won't take it. Please fix
It's a bit hard to understand at the beginning, but gradually you get the hang of it, and the awesomeness comes!!!
A variety of fun challenges, with varying difficulty, make learning the characters easy.
The only draw backs are the in app purchases and Kanji stops just after 100. Totally willing to pay a couple bucks though.

The graphic style is pleasing and the mini games are varied enough not to become boring. Kudos!
Touch the nice animals ..game over. Slide finger to the left..didnt work press back ..quits game. Im done

I learned more in a few minutes than i did in a session for nihongo class
Love the game but for some reason this version doesn't work very well on my phone
This game Is very Smooth educational and Accurate . It makes Learning kanji very easy and fun So next Time you are with your Asian friends you Can Impress them with your new found knowledge :)
I take Japanese in school it helped me get the right stroke ordet
Muy buen juego, acción y didáctico, algo casi imposible de encontrar.
It is rare these days to have a game that actually teaches you something valuble. As a fan of Japanese culture, i have always loved Samurai games, but i kinda felt like they're showing but a fragment of that ancient world. This game brings the most unique language a bit closer and teaches the player how to write kanji, how to interpret them and how to pronounce them which is excelent for begginers. What you've learned will be tested through small tests and numerous mini games. Enjoy.
This game is good if you love Japan. Lol! And requires thinking also. You get a small lesson in writing kanji. ( and in pronouncing it also)
Learnt kenji in no time and adictive as well... only 1 level free
It won't beat actually studying japanese but it helps while giving a very comical experience :)
I'm not sure if the Japanese is real, and if it is than I highly recommend this game.
Now that's what i call "educational". Keep up the good work.
I love this method of learning. Rote memorization has never been this fun!
This game is really hillarious and addicticting. Learning kanji was never be so hardcore.. awesome!!

Needs more levels and new kanji. It also would be nice to have actual mini games aside from the main game.
I cant give it a full star since you have to buy every story after you finish the first one. I didnt know that numbers in japanese are similar to chinese.
Really fun game. Lots of humor and really didactic. The exposition and practice of Japanese kanji is really effective. Game play may be repetitive but nonetheless I would recommend it
Love it! Makes learning kanji so fun! Love the animation and although the game play isn't taxing it's definitely a fun way to approach drill style study! Recommended 100%
i was a japanese language student back in college and my problem was and is kanji. but i find this really useful since i never really paid attention with the strokes back then and it gives a lot of usage and new vocabs for me. i docked a star though because some of the romanizations are a little wrong like how zu/dzu is only written as du. other than that it's great!
I love it. Its fun as an action game though it isn't too serious about delivering too much on that front. But I'm speaking from playing the one free level available in the demo. Too little a taste for me to want to buy it but was totally worth the free download. Learned a few kanjis and as insignificant as that is, for someone who is into japanese culture and interested in a first step, this game is totally worth the experience. Must have for anime fans outside Japan :-)
I get an out of memory error if HD graphics is enabled but with it turned off the game still looks good and I really like how it teaches Kanji, though I don't know if it will be worth buying the higher levels yet since I just started playing.
A very fun way to learn. A few things would make it better however. 1: too many new kanji too fast. Introducing like 5 or 6 kanji at a time would've been better(struggling too remember some then get spammed with 3 more is quite annoying ) 2: sentence examples would go a long way too easier understand how the words would be used.
Nice concept, but this game is bugged and froze systematically near the end of the first part. I wish i did not pay for it :(

it's nice but the final world is so hard with all those mosters i always fail jt xD but it's really fun and i could memorize well those kanji i wish they cpuld make a second.part to this game with more kanji and better battles
