Neoteria for Android
BOOMSHAKALAKA!!!!!!!!
This is a decent side-scrolling shooter, similar to R-Type. Unfortunately, each time you die you get a Heyzap popup which irritates the hell out of me, and when I use the link to install Heyzap I'm taken to the Play store where im told 'item not found'. Super-annoying.
A Moga Pro makes this game extremely fun to play. Good graphics, soundtrack and FX. Using earbuds with an aftermarket EQ app makes the soundtrack Rock! Having a Moga Pro hold your phone in its clip while you play a side scroller is the best gaming experience you will have with an Android phone! OrangePixel did a great job with this Retro Shmup. If you own a Moga Pro or Pro Power (I own both) support this dev & their Moga Supported Apps!
Orange pixel have seemed to make a career out of creating poorly produced games. Controls are slugish and the graphics really are retro. Only redeeming feature is that their games are hid controller compatible and can be played in landscape mode which means you can 'console' your phone with their games. IF you really want to?
FUN!
Classic fun! (On Xperia PLAY)
Aggressive heyzap social network pop ups during ingame, no I dont want bloatware, yes I want high scores.... Like every other PAID GAME but not linked to crappy social networks that you are paid for every time someone links your game to their network. Trying to upload the scores and having pop ups after EVERY SHORT GAME is not making me believe in Orange pixel or wanting to dl their good games
Very good game, loads of retro fun. Good controls and and a killer soundtrack.
But please disable the stupid high score popup.
Great fun
Wish I had seen the free version so I hadn't have wasted my money on this. There's a very good reason why autofire joysticks were popular. Because this at best not fun and at worse can lead to injury. At least provide to option to turn autofire on or off.
I keep dying constantly, because of the controls.. Instead of having static buttons, why not allow sliding up and down to steer the ship from anywhere on the screen? That way you don't have to keep track of the button placement. Also, stop being stubborn and include auto-fire. The firing button adds nothing to the gameplay, since there aren't any charge shots and there's no reason not to constantly fire. Why would you force players to keep tapping the bottom right side of the screen, that seems like a strange game design decision.

Another great game by OrangePixel. Good job.
I want to like the game but I HATE the controls. Controls are better after update but still horrible. Auto shooting would be nice so i don't have to pound the screen...!
