Ramble Planet for Android
I was hesitant to try this game because it looks very strange, but I found that once I started playing I could not stop. The amount of detail and back story attached to each creature and location in this game is immense. If you have a vivid imagination and love old school adventure style, you will like this cryptic game. Every detail is bursting with originality and creativity. You might hate it, but if you find yourself curious and enjoy exploration, you will probably love this science fiction adventure.
While this game's graphics do remind me of the 8 bit games of my youth, its humour, content and writing are highly developed and refined. After playing for an hour or so I still had little idea of what was really going on but I had enjoyed myself. Design wise, it's a triumph and the baffling discoveries are obviously the product of a creative mind. And the music is superb! EDIT: after 5 hours, still not finished, but had to add what a great piece of work this game is. Unique, clever, funny, brilliant!
I wasn't expecting much from the game when I got it but once I started playing, I was immediately immersed in the exploration and style. I revisit it every so often unlike most other games I go through. I get a sense of comfort from it as if it was a game I used to play when I was a kid. The atmosphere of Ramble Planet totally wins me over. Also the first game I've ever felt compelled to leave a review for!
I am totally blown away by this game. The gameplay, graphics, music and story combine in one immersive and mind bending experience. It's fabulously reminiscent of Spectrum games but also totally original. I love that, at first, I couldn't make sense of anything I was seeing and then it gradually coalesced into a coherent world. The developer must be some kind of genius. Recommended for connoisseurs.
Greate game! No ads, beautiful style, pleasingly strange and not frustrating. Rare case of non-fantasy, but science fiction setting. Fall in love after "Badmark once change the orbit to avoid meteor". Many thanks for such beautiful game!
Fantastic! I found both of your games, and admittedly I'm extremely soft towards this one! I'm a sucker for games with this level of strangeness and uniqueness! I'm not in it very far yet but it's rather fun to wander around and figure things out! I really love your writing and artwork in this game as well, some parts have me laughing and the bizarre stuff really makes it stand out. I really just adore ho creative and wild you got with the npcs/enemies. Music is fantastic too. Keep doing you with your work! It's great!
One of the most unique games I've ever seen. Just does its own thing and takes you along for the fun ride. Huge world to explore, oodles of gameplay, seems like some puzzles must be really obtuse.
This is an incredible game. The art fits the aesthetic perfectly, creating a mood of discomfort and abstraction. The world's full of strange narrative that will keep you wondering: "What the heck did I just read?!". The game also features loads of little subtle secrets that will reward your ability to see into the strange and often perverted world that is Badmark. I can't wait to play the next. I'd gladly pay for it. Thank you Mr. Hagen.
I really loved this game! I've put several hours into it and still haven't found everything. Can't wait to see more games from the developer. Also, void pyramid is a great game too.
Like many others I passed over this game many times because the graphics are so basic. However dont be folled by them. Any good rpg is driven not by the graphics but by the story. This little game has tons of it, a d tons of heart. Download and play...you wont regret it.
I like this game so much but one thing, can someone tell me how to use items? However love this game
This is another one of those games that proves "Graphics don't make a game good, it's all about gameplay and replay value", at first it's hard to understand and seems like you may never get to lvl 1, but keep searching and interact with everything you can and everything will eventually start flowing like water, until you start to get everything and that's when the final items/tasks become really difficult to figure out! ^_6 I highly recommend Ramble Planet and would love to see it Greenlighted on Steam! ^_6
A fun old-school feeling scavenger hunt. Try to avoid using a guide for as long as possible and remember to try interacting with things multiple times.
A true gem of mininalist excellence. Simple yet zany and challenging without frustration. Finished with all parts, full experience, and the shadow. Well worth it to get it all. Just leaves you feeling complete and satisfied like few games do these days.
A very alien yet oddly endearing experience. The graphics take a little familiarizing to understand, but they really add to the charm of the story (or lack thereof?). A very charming, unique little game.
Charming retro game with outstanding music, ultra simple gameplay, thoughtful puzzles and text loaded with character. Get all 70 items but don't slaughter the hardpacks! Void Pyramid, by same author, also highly recommended.
This game creator has a keen, distinct vision. If you liked Void Pyramid I would definitely play this too! Love the art, funky music, puzzles and atmosphere of this game. The flavour text is great.
I really like this game it's better than what mobile game developers are putting out. Also I love the fact there's no microtransactions or ads in the game. This honestly should be an example of how mobile games should be.
Intended simplicity that works is a rare quality for a modern RPG but Ramble Planet pulls it off very well. Try it.
I have played Ramble Planet and Void pyramid and i love them both and they are literally the two best games on my phone.
Great game keep brings me back. I hate how confusing it is. But at the same time I love it
This game made me feel like a kid again, I'm not joking.
Fun game that works on my phone.
The music is sweet and the colors are amazing. Wish I knew what I was supposed to do.
Beautiful
Interesting...seems old school but at the same time quite unique. The graphics are trippy too. ;) Overall though, there's not a whole lot to do as it's very short.
Uniquely fun game, and weirdly beautiful.
Oh my WHUT this is blowing my mind. I may simply be high, but this is incredible.
Simple, creepy sometimes, downright weird others. Good soundtrack. Will play the sequel.
Surprisingly fun
No words.
This game brings back that feeling you used to get as a child where everything is a new experience, and there is this giant complex world that you have yet to explore. A fantastic and amazing game that's both simple yet complex at the same time. Thank you for this timeless gem.
Wandering around a crazy alien planet, an open world filled with puzzles and mystery with a whimsical aesthetic that has seriously grown on me. I love that I can do most of the puzzles in any order so I can come back to ones I don't understand at first, and the leveling gives a sense of progress even when I'm stumped. I love how many bizarre custom interactions there are with things. I'm enthralled.
The writing is what makes this game! I love it! The creatures are cute and whisical and fascinating! (You really should publish a donation app or add a PayPal account so that those of us that appreciate your effort in this wonderful game could show our support!!)

This is the first time I felt compelled to rate a game. Amazing storytelling and creativity!
I'm gonna cry. Also, will we be expecting more games from you?

This is literally one of the best games I've ever played in my 20 years of gaming. I'm 2.5 hours into it and I had to come back to post this review. Right when I was like oh thats cool, theres another crazy wtf moment. Lots of puzzles and crazy world to explore with awesome music and retro graphics where you have to use your imagination. Cool unique coding in parts. Also, the part with the mushroom was pure evil lol. Maybe make a donation version or a demo, I'd so pay for this after trying it.
