Odesys Solitaire

Update to initial review: There is a problem with the sound now. It only works intermittently and stutters. The other Odesys games do not have this problem, just Solitaire. I have restarted my device but this has not solved the problem. Initial review: All the Odesys card games I have bought have been excellent. I cannot recommend this app highly enough ★★★★★ (I do have one suggestion regarding the statistics, not just for this game, but all the Solitaire apps - is it possible to include the number of attempts that are made to solve a game too?)

Paid for the app amd now since the last update I can't even open the app. Each time I try t open it it takes me to the Uninstall/Open screen and when I select open it pulls up the initial green screen of the game then takes me back to the Uninstall/Open screen. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling without any success.

This game is worth the short download if you like Solitaire. I like the simplicity of the game, it's a down to earth, honest game of Solitaire. I recommend the paid version because there are no adds and the animations are great. Simply put, this is the best Solitaire​ game in the Play Store.

My go to game. I have had it on 3 phones so far and will always have it.

This version of the classic game is so amazingly addictive, there should be a warning posted with it. It runs smoothly, has excellent graphics, hasn't been updated for a while, but it doesn't really need anything else. I'm using this app for several years already and I'm honestly surprised that much worse solitaire apps have more downloads - I've tried the others but at the end I'm always coming back to this one. Great job! Thank you for hours of fun

Great app, best Solitaire. My win streak is currently 1228 (solvable only). Only lost 4 games in 1568. Not always that easy, my 17 yr old daughter has helped me overcome one I just couldn't crack!

Solitaire is a basic game yet some developers manage to mess it up with extras. Not so with this developer. This is the most pure, yet customisable app ever. Best of all, they support their app. .... I just replaced my BlackBerry Z10 with a BlackBerry PRIV. The game moved, but the hard earned stores did not because of a difference in versions between the BlackBerry store and Google Play Store. Support worked with me for days until we were successful. Much thanks crim this very loyal user!

What's the point of playing a game that is not/not winnable? To those who claim this game is fun, try playing without dealing yourselves 'solvable' games!! This is ridiculous!!! Uninstalling

Simple & elegant. Card movement is smooth and imaginitive. Size of the cards can be changed on the fly with pinch & zoom. You can change the card style and color as well as background color. Constantly updated to make game play smoother - not flashier. They listen to suggestions. At least two of mine were used! Best option is the ability to set every game as solvable. It doesn't mean every game is solvable on the 1st or 2nd tries. With patience and concentration, every game IS solvable. You can restart and redo as many times as necessary to win. I've read complaints that the "all solvable" setting doesn't work. I hate to say it, but if you can't solve a game with the all solvable setting enabled, it's your brain that's not working - not the game. Some hands can be won in less than a minute. Others have several possible card placements, so if you don't find the exact combination, you're going to lose the game. It really gives my brain a workout. On particularly difficult hands, it can take me 3 or 4 tries before I win. I currently have a 42 game win streak going. So don't tell me it's impossible to win! My win rate is 90% because sometimes my brain fails me and I give up.

This game is impossible even with "solvable only" option checked. I regret purchasing it.

I've played many different solitaire games in the Android market... even bought several, but by far this is the best one out there. I play it every single day.

Best solitaire for Android!

Even on easy still a challenge

I wanted just the classic Solitaire with no other games. But I also wanted an excellent ui and elegant graphics. This version delivers in spades (sorry). I have tried a couple of dozen different versions of Solitaire and I liked this one so much, I actually paid for it. The card movement is smooth and imaginitive. The size of the cards can be changed on the fly with pinch & zoom. You can set the preferences to change card style and color as well as background color. Nothing looks cheap or dated. You can set it to flip one card or three cards. A feature I like the best is the ability to set every game as solvable. This doesn't mean that every game is easy. In fact, some of the hands require quite a bit of brain power to solve. I'm up to an 86% win rate. There's a feature to restart the current game, and I've had to use it several times in order to figure out the correct card placements to win a game. It also has unlimited undos and keeps a running count of games won and lost along with a tally of the most recent winning and losing streaks. It's optimized for portrait or landscape. You need look no further, this is the perfect classic Solitaire in every way.

Even though I've chosen "solvable only", I will get hands that are impossible or would require many replays to get perfectly right. Needs difficulty adjustment. Update 2016: Still no difficulty setting, but other improvements keep this at 3 stars.

Still doesn't auto deal all the time. Otherwise love it. Tried a couple of others, this is the best. Have it on 2 mobile devices. Would like to get on on my new Windows 10 computers. Is that possible?

I'm taking my rating up to 4 stars. The 1/13/2016 update fixed a number of issues. The game is well done and plays well again.
