Chess

After installation the game is only visible as a thumbnail. Not possible to play except with a magnifier.. I tried to contact them, no reply. I purchased it, no difference. Ripp off.

I purchased this for my BlackBerry priv and the app is so small on my screen that it is unplayable. Refund please.

I don't understand how someone could rate this app less than 5 stars. It's a chess game that allows ranked or unranked online play and messaging...

Great FICS client

Great for fics players. Worth the price.

I love this app. Especially because you can play through Free Internet Chess Server which I have been a member of for years. There is one flaw that they need to correct: When you think long enough for the screen to time out and then turn it back on, the board has switched over to default pieces. I CANNOT play with these pieces which look like different sizes of stacked bubbles. To make matters worse, if you go to options and change the pieces back to "standard" it doesn't work; you have to change it to "default" then change it to "standard" so it's a 2 step proccess to get it back to "standard" which is what I had it set on all along.

Players cheat to much. When they lose they exit the game so they don't lose points. I don't think that's fair. I have a problem. I've been playing highly ranked chess players who have been exiting the game upon them knowing they are losing or can't win. I don't think that's fair for them to be able to opt out of a game and not lose points. Is there a way to fix this, or eliminate that option.

A bit difficult to control but seems ok.

No time seal, so get ready for a massive rating drop on FICS.

AI always does same opening move unless you change level. Very annoying. limits my practice against other openings. Online is great.

To gab e: there is a move called en passant which allows a pawn to capture another pawn not diagonal. Google it to learn how it works.

Not good for those learning... 'help' functionality. Great otherwise!
