Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty

This runs pretty well on my Samsung j5 pro with medium settings. Sometimes it lags but lowering the resolution helps to get a higher fps.

Runs relly slow almost unplayable on my j5 pro. Even with graphics so low i cant read any wrighting. Feeling let down

Fails to install on Google Pixel, Android 8.1.0. crashes Pixel Launcher and causes the phone to restart.

Wow this takes me back amazing, I was put off at first with some of the reviews saying it runs slow on some androids I have a Lenovo tab six months old nothing spectacular but pretty good not high spec I downloaded this and at first was very disappointed the reviews were right but after playing around with the graphic settings it plays amazing I have the graphics three quarters and Res on half I found if you turn off the extras below the graphic settings it runs great and looks very good

Can cut scenes be adjusted to fit note 8 whole screen

Loved the original when it first came out and this takes me back. Game play is smooth on my Galaxy S8 and graphics are vivid.

I thought that it is a amazing game that brings back good memories different control would-be nice a button option rather than a slide

What a amazing games

Come on the game is awesome but sadly unplayable due to lagging and stutters I can only play the game on the lowest resolution and I can't see anything so it's annoying. I'm using the s6 and I expected this game to be running smooth as it's a top end device I use . Please fix the lagging . Maybe even resale the textures so they can run a little faster and then we can turn up resolution . I will rate 5 stars if you fix this

It works fine but only on low res. Even if I disable all the gfx options and just have res between medium to maximum the game lags too much to be playable. I don't accept devs saying its exynos fault. The European market S8 is a large market of android phone users... you should therefore consider exynos compatibility a lot greater than you currently do when developing these games or ports. Plus... strangers wrath and munch oddysee work great on exynos phones and those ports as far as I am aware came from the same studio. Why is this port in that case performing worse than those other games? I'm not saying the game is bad... it's very good but it should be much better. I have a beast of a phone in my hands... it plays almost everything else perfectly... and this game should be no exception.

Always loved the original however i find that my galaxy s8 seems to struggle with it which I find surprising. I get fairly laggy frame rates unless I drop the resolution settings down to the lowest.. even then can be a little slow. is this normal? Edit: I notice other comments appear to have garnered a supportive response from the devs, however this appears to have slipped through the net hence my decision to lower my star rating. Any explanation for poor performance on a galaxy s8..?

The game is great. It is a great game when played on other platforms. On my Xperia XZ Premium I have a gamebreaking problem. When playing the game it constantly begins to flicker making the game unplayable. This doesnt happen on my Xperia Z4 Tablet but that has a native 1440p resolution even still the game runs fairly slow on this device which still has decent specs. I put it down to the XZ Premium's 4k display which only goes 2160p on certain apps (1080p on others). Never have I experienced so much lag and flickering on an android app though. Its mainly noticeable when interacting with the system ui in mid game such as reading notifications and especially when adjusting the volume. I hope this issue gets addressed as the game is unplayable. Will rate with 5 stars if it does as the game itself is great, just that performance sucks on Android pretty badly. Alot of other users also experience this and it should be fixed.

Pretty Awesome but needs a little optimisation. I'm on a Note 8 and even with the settings down and the phone in beast mode the frame rate is pretty low and the game lags often.

Rated back to 1 star. Intended 5. The game froze. And whenever I load my previous save point I'm returned to the same frozen game.

Can you make for android 7.0 i am not happy about it when i just got tablet and it is not get it.

The steam was resolved but the graphics glitching is still an issue when playing

I liked it, but there's lots of glitches I see on my Galaxy Tab A 8.0. The white text on the loading screens are tiny and unable to read, if i pause during a transition animation before it fades the game freezes, the menu options every time i pause are cut off, cutscenes that are locked can still be watched and audio in the gamespeak option on the main menu repeats twice (especially whistle 2). Also could you guys not make resolution of the touch controls drop with the graphics it's pretty laggy on my tablet even on the lowest settings.

Downloaded on Chromebook, can't figure out the controller settings on the keyboard and no option to change. Makes it impossible to play.

Great remake. A few bugs but it's worth the money.

Game play is amazing. Graphics are on par with graphical options to suit your phone. R2 and l2 buttoms would not work on controllers but I am sure the devs will fix this issue. On screen controls takes a little getting used to but I am putting it down to my era off gaming as my 8 year old nephew has no problem with this.. 9/10 would play again and again. #Edit# With the latest update R2 and l2 buttons now working on some controllers. that was a fast fix :D these devs care

Hope to be able to play this soon, unfortunately on my lg v30 along with an Xbox one controller the R2 does not work, can't get alternate game speak to work. Also gameplay feels sluggish on my phone, tried all possible settings both on device and game itself as far as graphics go but seems the only way to get it to play smooth is by going extremely low on resolution within game itself =/

Love this game and have ever one of the Oddworld games. Also if there is a glitch let them know as there ready to help and fix it as fast they can amazing game and great team!!

Using on a chromebook with an xbox one controller as a gamepad - works completely fine however the L2 and R2 buttons aren't working, can't chant or use alternate gamespeak. Any solutions? Edit: R2 and L2 still not working on xbox one controller after update (version 1.0.1)
