The Ultimate Intensivist

The Ultimate Intensivist is een Serious Game voor IC-artsen, IC verpleegkundigen en andere health care professionals die graag hun grenzen willen verleggen en willen leren met behulp van de nieuwe media.

Deze game bestaat uit de volgende onderdelen:
- Een Control Room waar je als speler je scores en ranking ten opzichte van andere spelers kunt zien en contact kunt hebben met de gamemaster
- Een Escape Room waar je als speler een of meerdere uitdagingen (dit zijn kleine minigames als een slider, schijvenpuzzel of triviaquiz) moet spelen om ‘badges/spel punten’ te verdienen. Als je per uitdaging voldoende badges verdiend hebt, mag je de game-bubble in.
- Meerdere gamebubbles (in 3D en/of VR) waarin een of meerdere CAN MEDS-competenties ( kennis en vaardigheden) centraal staan. Een voorbeeld van een dergelijke competentie ‘Crew Resource Management’.

Door The Ultimate Intensivist Game te spelen, kan een IC-arts accreditatiepunten verdienen.
Er is een koppeling met de BIG-registratie. Je kunt alleen accreditatiepunten verdienen als je inlogt met je BIG-registratienummer.

Deze game is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met de NVIC en Pfizer. The Ultimate Intensivist is a Serious Game for critical care physicians, ICU nurses and other healthcare professionals who wish to broaden their horizons and learn using the new media.

This game consists of the following components:
- A control room where you as a player scores and ranking as you can see over other players and contact you have with the game master
- An Escape Room where you as a player one or more challenges (small mini-games as a slider, discs puzzle or trivia quiz) should play to earn "badges / game points. If you have earned enough badges a challenge, you can bubble in the game.
- Multiple game bubbles (3D and / or VR) wherein one or more CAN-MEDS competencies (knowledge and skills) are central. An example of such competence 'Crew Resource Management'.

By playing Intensivist The Ultimate Game, an IC-doctor earn accreditation points.
There is a link to the BIG registration. You can only earn accreditation points if you sign in with your BIG registration.
