Montezuma's Revenge! for Android
Is there a way I could get unlimited continues? I die way too much with these controls which are very much like the originals.
It works with my iPega
Hard to control
classic
Excellent
It's true that the controls aren't great but there is no way around that with the touchscreen. Very happy to have a native version of this classic. They really tried hard to give a lot of control choices.
One CANNOT call themselves a nostalgic gamer if they don't have this game. Great work!
HORRIBLE controls.... Touch pad for this game it just doesn't work properly... I'm not even able to move up to the level two cause the character gets stucked all the time lol. Apart from that its a good adaption to the original game.
The controls just don't work well. I can't get past level one.
My favourite childhood game brought back to life. 10 out of 10
It's tough and I haven't put the time into it cuz I never played it when I was young. But it's good
This was my favorite game growing up and I am so happy to see that it is still around love this game!
Love it. Same as the original, you can choose old , and new graphics. Problemvwith the jump control with the galaxy note
BS! I bought this game because it said it has "Support for for popular joysticks (Moga, iCade)". It does not! I'm using the pocket. I've tried all the settings and it doesn't work.
I like the game and it runs smooth.. Just like the original good job. But the touch screen control are so small its hard to jump and run. The button for moving and jumping should be bigger. Controls are difficult

So happy, still had this on my dads Atari, which finally gave up on its Xmas dust off this year :-( I mapped this game out in a notebook! Can't wait to get a controller for my phone. Thanks :-)
A suggestion is to allow change levels of volume... but it is great to remember how I enjoy those time!

Meh. This would be a better game if you could save your progress. I like the retro coolness, I started on a C-64 in grade school.
I remember this game from back in the day, glad to see its rebirth on Android now. Dev did a good job bringing this classic to Android. If you're into Retro Platformers with HID controller support don't miss out on this little gem!
Thanks a lot...I always wanted this game ,,,but wit better graphics . ...you did it....thank you
Speed of the main character is too fast needs to be a bit slower please then will change to 5 stars
Loved this game on my Commodore 64, and this appears to be a faithful adaptation to Android. Make sure to switch the control scheme to one you like. There's no options screen before you start a game, so click on the menu icon when in the game and you can do it then.
Played on Galaxy Note 4 running 5.0.1 using a Moga Pro in HID(B)mode. 8 bit style graphics with lots of objects to find/obtain to continue your journey through each level. The character seems to be a little fast moving for such a small screen environment making some jumps much harder than they should be. Using a gamepad is by far the best/most enjoyable way to play. I purchased it because it supported Moga, glad I did because it's fun to play. If you like Retro Platformers with Moga support check this out!
Great game, brings back many memories. My kids love playing it on the Nexus Player, where it looks fantastic... Best platform game available on Android TV
Update: controls have been updated to allow different sizes excellent work thank you. -- controls on a galaxy note 4 are way too small very hard to use. Does not scale to the screen resolution
I haven't played this since 1990. The new graphics are a very nice touch. The gameplay is pretty much as I remembered it (good!). I have two criticisms: This reincarnation BADLY needs a save-game function. It will be impossible to complete the levels without one. The throbbing dialogs at startup are NOT helpful. Moving buttons are not easy to tap.
Recent update improved button size, but still far from perfect. First of all, why not allow the user to place the buttons anywhere they choose on the screen? That's just basic smartphone game etiquette. Second, there is an options button (gray with 3 dots) that sits right on top of the jump button. 75% of the time you jump you either hit the options button and bring up that menu, or you make a poorly timed jump resulting in death. This game has potential, but as is it's no better than subpar. S6.

I die more from missing the controller than anything else, it makes the game unplayable.
