The Blocks Cometh for Android
I loved this game, it's really different from many other games in the playstore. My only complaint is that the D-pad doesn't work properly when you rotate the phone horizontaly.
This game is awesome...I especially love the game bot version...takes me back to my Gameboy days....controls are a little wonky in landscape view but otherwise very fun climber
I like this app. It has very few bugs for an app that just came out recently
It's really hard though. Lol
Squealed with joy when I found this game on android. It was my favourite on my old iPhone, and it is my favourite again.
A fun game similar to the flash game "Avalanche" really fun with different characters though the controls take a bit to get used to.
This game is classic platformer it is a fun challenge to get as high as you can with blocks dropping increasingly faster the higher you go I bought it a while back and just recently rediscovering it's awesomeness
But still fun
Ok game. A little slow but fun.
Platform gaming, with a short, width of your screen learning curve. Takes time to master, but minutes to enjoy. A solid diversion, with the gleaning polish I expect from this developer.
Despite it being a scroller, the game never really gets repetitive. There are different modes to keep you entertained, and trying to unlock everyone in the diverse roster is bound to glue you to the app.
Great game. Awesome way to waste away my boredom. :-D
That would be all i'd have to say if i didnt actually have something to say. Funtastic game it should be said, but there are times when the game will feeze and crash, especially when on the pause screen trying to quit out into the main menu.... now give me my character.
I loved this game so much years ago, and just forgot about it. I still remember how i was trying to download the amazing soundtracks so badly x'd. (Is made by Chris T Geehan, hes great) just downloaded it, gonna have so good'ol fun ;
Played it a few years ago on iOS. Still the s***! I know its pixel art so it's, well, pixelated, but it seem a bit lower on resolution than it was on iOS devices' retina display for example. Pixel art was really more detailed. Anyway still great. Hope I'm just mistaken or it get fixed soon. Can't wait to see it run on higher res display like my "coming soon" nexus 6.
I don't like this game because landscape view is buggy. Plus I can't capture content because the device still thinks I'm in portrait mode
Needs to take off auto rotate. Extremely annoying and happens out of nowhere. Also a way to save progress. Lost all my progress after switching ROMs.
The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the fact that Jim cucking Sterling Son is in it. Dude has balls for not taking sh** from indie manchildren but f*** that guy, can't stand him
Reminds me of marshmallow game on pc. After playing it more though, I don't like it nearly as much. Marshmallow game had the ability to cross from sides by going off the screen, then you'd appear on the other side. This added a ton of strategy. Plus the blocks in this game always fall exactly in a grid, meaning they attack up super slowly and predictably. As long as you stay on the highest block, it's never difficult. I got to 1000 and was still waiting in it to speed up or become hard and it never did.
It's a pretty simple and fun verticle ummm climber? I am having fun with it :) decent amount of unlocks, its great "on the go" fun, and it has Jim Sterling... So yeah decent purchase overall.
A well done game, the controls are a little difficult, but as a whole the game has a decent presentation.
I bought this game, because I loved it on iOS, but on Android, the controls are not working right. On the Gamebot, I'll hit A, but it will act like I hit B, and sometimes when I hit left, I go right. This makes it difficult to play, and I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed.
I love everything about this game the charecters aren't that hard to unlock and the gameplay is amazing. Definently worth my $2 :)
So you guys have time to develop other apps but you can't update this to work with new devices? I would like a refund because a game I can't play is worthless. Either update or refund
The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the fact that Jim F***ing Sterling Son is in it. Dude has balls for not taking sh** from indie manchildren but f*** that guy, can't stand him
This is probably one of the best games I've played on a touch screen device. I just can't help but be addicted to this. Maybe if I just beat my last score...
This is one of the few games I keep coming back to on Android. Definitely worth checking it out!
Love this game only negative music is really low needs a little more boom but awesome game still !!
Haven't played that much but a good quick time waster
Blocks Cometh is one of the best games to ever come to iOS. I've been wishing for years for it to come to android, and here it is!
It's funny and a decent game. Should be. Little more fast paced. It's way too slow in the first 100 ft.
I'd like to see more characters with more different abilities and more debris falling to make it harder.
This game is extremely addictive..I got used to playing it REALLY quickly
I enjoyed this game years back on an iPod Touch, and was overjoyed to find it existed on Android as well. Tight controls and simple to play, hard to master gameplay provides hours of old school enjoyment.
It's a great game, runs great and great if you want to kill a couple minutes.
The Blocks Cometh is a decent vertical scroller. It has very well executed visuals and audio, there is however a distinct lack to the game. While I am all about mechanics over story, there just doesn't seem like a lot variety to the kinds of challenges I've encountered in game( so far I've only gone maybe to about 5000 m ). I think at the core there may have been a design flaw, because climbing vertically endlessly is not rewarding in and of itself for me. It's aesthetically polished enough though.
But could use some improvements. Gameplay stutters from time to time and grinding doesn't always seem to work like it should. The controls are good. The art is good but could use some variety in the environments. It also seems too easy.
Can bit a bit slow at some points... Although when the pace picks up is quite fun
It's a game where you climb up blocks and unlock new climbers but I bought Gamebot mode and it controls terrible but overall it's a good game except gambot.

One minor issue is that the controls are not as solid as they are on Apple. Please let me know if you plan on fixing it. Thank you. Keep up the magnificent work.
