Talisman for Android
The game's UI is my least favorite. It's not optimized for mobile game play and feels more like a PC version. The bots take forever to move. You'll wish they took their turn instantly because you must sit through their move, albeit on speed move. The overall actual board game is slightly fun, but I'm not sure if I can recommend buying it.
Must have hours and hours worth losing...literally! I've never won ever since the game was invented. My google achievement was "Fully Denied". Enough explained. Play it if you want to feel like a loser. I want my money back. I mean it.
This game is so rigged it's unbelievable. Constantly getting the lowest roles while the npcs just prance about beating everything. Play the board game, much better experience and you won't break your phone throwing it in anger.
Such a great adaptation of the board game. I swore my friends woud cheat during board game play, they always seemed to have the better cards then too. Fate is cruel, the good learn to adapt. Remember dungeon goes straight to command. Buy only good stuff. Spend time in city to get items. Support the game, buy expansions. Add more AI player's, they beat up on each other and not you as much. Update: there is a way to cheat and turn back time that I wont share. BUT, I can prove die rolls are a set order of randoms doing it, claiming the good rolls for me. No fun doing that tho... So, considering the diversity of the cards and the options it presents, I am blown away by how smart the computer is. The expansions are worth it. Get city and reaper first IMHO. Takes me way back to childhood and the board games I grew up with. Kudos to the devs.
This game is not fun. It is punishing and largley luck driven. Sorta fun as a table top game, but as a handheld game you loose the human interaction which is the only fun the game offers. If you enjoy this game you need a hug
Great version of the board game. However, the auto-zoom is a bit of a pain and the game freezes several times during play.
Wish the expansions were cheaper. Already bought them all on Steam, so don't want to drop another bundle of cash on the Android version, but would be awesome to be able to play full expansions mobile.
Great game but gets a bit choppy while other characters taking turn. Crashed a few time
Played it a few times before giving up. I was left with an impression that the game is massively rigged in favour of the computer player.
A decent game, and lots of fun. When it works... This game is so buggy it is sometimes unplayable. If you tab away or turn the screen off gameplay turns into a stuttering mess when you come back. There are gameplay options greyed out for no obvious reason (not talking about expansion options). Worst of all it relies on google play games and when it can't reach the internet it falls into a connection loop and cannot be played at all. Updates seem to make things worse, with the most recent one replacing some of the stock character graphics with broken black and white sprites. Good game. Very poor execution.
I used to love this game but ever since i purchased the Firelands Pack for Talisman for android, the game has become unplayable, everytime i get the Displacement spell in my spells the game take a long pause before every action, selling spells, rolling the die etc., this needs to be fixed.
The hi-res graphics don't seem to be working even after clearing the data and redownloading after the latest update. EDIT: Fixed!
Amazing game with tons of improvements on the way.
Great game
Fun game
Stability issues on Android vs iOS version. That I keep coming back and purchasing every expansion for both shows how great the game is. Unfortunately many many crashes on Android M and N. Stability issues have persisted over three years and two devices but still I keep playing. Three stars for stability five for gameplay
I have friends on other platforms that play. I got this to play with them. After not being able to set up a private game we hit the web to find a solution. All we found at first were posts from mid 2015 saying they were waiting on an iOS update. Then we found some people in late 2016 saying that the developers had given up on online play. While that's not official it does seem to be the case since it's early March 2017 and the issues haven't been fixed. The description still says that you can 'Play with friends' even though you can't which is why I'm rating so low.
This game is so buggy. It is painful slow. I don't know how the makers thought it was good enough to release let alone charge money for. Such a pity.
Overall, besides small bugs, this game is absolutely fantastic, fun, & addicting. It's not as great as the actual board game, but for a digital edition on mobile, it's great. It does have issues starting games, ever since the latest update. Just sits there.
I do love this game, but there are a few bugs that still need work. The dice rolls are a consistent problem with both the app and the game on Steam. There is also a way overpowered card in the Firelands expansion (Devout Blacksmith) that allows cards to be taken from the discard pile over and over again (should be only once per discarded card, then the previously card is removed from play). Sometimes the cards/skills don't work as they're supposed to, or aren't entirely clear (such as with the Ninja's Secret Strike ability not deducting the actual Craft value, but only the -starting- Craft value). Overall, I enjoy the game, but I'd like to see the bugs fixed, along with some of the way overpowered things toned down.
Great game, was working fine for a few days. Now the app closes all the time, I've reported this, but still doesn't work. Gutted that I've actually paid for it. Please fix this!!!
Ended second game with minstrels in an endless loop of stealing a maiden from the other. 10/10 would watch soap opera again
Awesome game! Its just like having the original boardgame right in front of you! Looking forward to getting all the expansions as well! I use to have every expansion to the board game...its the best!
Thanks for fixing all the bugs, you guys make this game great again. Please bring the rest of expansion, also the unoficial expansion such deep realms
Can you make it so it downloads the higher quality sounds and graphics in the background if you agree to download them, even if you press the home button it stops downloading them until you open the game again then it continues
Fun up til end game when you're 1on1 with the CPU then it's all about rolling a dice about 5000 times whilst they walk around the board getting unlimited heals.
Like the board game? You'll love this version! WWAAAAAAAYYYY cheaper too. Miss the physical aspects, but they did a fine job overall! (T.S. version still rules)
Looking for a smooth playing board game that plays like an rpg? Pick this up. It's a lot of fun.
I like the game really good. Thank you. I am Still missing one expansion I think. I buy it when I can.
Latest update erased my purchases
It has the same shortfallings as the board game...
A lot of bugs
Stellar!
Good game.
Endless replayability
Some frustrating bugs (Street Sage I'm looking at you) but overall has hours of solo fun and is worth the price. A difficulty slider would be nice because an experienced player will win more often than not.
Game looks good and the expansions are cool, but like another reviewer said the die rolls seem to go against the player alot. I have played lots of games and this seems to be the way it plays out every time, i lose combat after combat even against creatures a couple of points lower in strength or craft. Something amiss with the random number generator perhaps? EDIT: this game needs fixing, every time I play with my kids we all have disastrous roll after disastrous roll. I give up. I will NEVER play this game again. FIX IT!
Great game. Problems following latest update quickly resolved. Excellent customer service. I hope they add the Woodlands expansion some day.
Bought the highland expansion but characters still not unlocked in player select screen. Am I missing something here or is it just broken?

An excellent board game sadly marred by the balance in this version. My first match, played about 30 rounds and never once rolled higher than a 2. Started a new game, managed a single 5 in about the same amount of turns. Meanwhile the AI are seemingly getting exactly what they need, Warrior getting strength every single time he goes to the Enchanter, etc. I can very much recommend the PC version of this game, the balance is much fairer and the UI feels more comfortable to use. I really can't recommend the Android version at all though.
