Hashi Bridges is a mentally challenging and addictive logic puzzle game. Known in Japan as Hashiwokakero by Nikoli (known for sudoku). Connect islands by bridges using skill and logic. It's not as simple as it sounds!

This game offers 4 levels of difficulty, which means that game play is suitable for children or adults - well, anyone who loves a puzzle!

BRIDGES - HOW TO PLAY
Bridges is made up of a grid of islands, each island contains a number from between 1 and 8, you must figure out how to connect the islands together with bridges following these simple rules:
* Bridges can only run horizontally or vertically (or north, south, east, west).
* The total number of bridges reaching each island must be equal to the number inside the island.
* No more than two bridges can run in between two islands.
* No bridge can cross another bridge or an island.
* All the islands must be connected together to form a continuous path.
Bridges is also known as Hashiwokakero or Hashi for short!
This version will replace our Bridges (Hashi) 1.1. We recommend installing this version if you wish to receive updates and any great new features as they become available.

On Samsung Galaxy S7 edge the game is unplayable: the lower circles overlay the ad, so that trying to link them is interpreted as clicking the ad.

The genius of this game is in its simplicity. It just plays. A few extras would be nice such as an onscreen undo and save points with undo back to 'em. The added restart was a necessary improvement over the original version. Look for Slitherlink if you wanna'nother Sudoku-related game. Was able to upgrade to Galaxy 5; Bridges Free no longer works because the ad area at the bottom is too big.

Hashi puzzles must have exactly one solution; those I solved had multiple solutions. Also, difficulty setting simply sets the size of the grid. Size and difficulty are not synonymous.

I really enjoy games that come from different countries or cultures and have grown to truly enjoy this one from Asia. Try Mancala from Africa as well!

You can't touch any of the numbers at the bottom to make a bridge cause of the ads. Everytime I try it opens up the add. Horrible app I deleted it

Unfortunately it is a little bit annoying when the screen is dimmed while thinking/playing. So "keep screen on" feature should be added. Second thing is that, while pressing a node (for a longer time,1 sec maybe) the path that is linked to that node should be highlighted. This way, the player can see the overall picture much better in order to avoid "multiple islands"
