GOLFINITY for Android
Needs different camera angles. It really isn't that hard to fix, just please come back to this game nimblebit and make the simple change and this would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. (Maybe adjust the par on certain objects). If you fix these things, this might be the next big game.
Great time waster. If you love minigolf, this is for you. Literally endless amount of courses. But there seens to be in my opinion, some issues. The ball doesnt seem to roll enough. And I feel that there should be a powerbar when you hit the ball, the line doesnt seem to give you a great estimate of how hard you are hitting it. And DEPTH PERCEPTION IS A MAJOR ISSUE. I will take 20 shots on holes sometimes becuase i cant see if there is a hill or dip in the ground. Very frustrating.
This game is more than i expected!!! Awesome levels, nice finished look! Overall its awesome! But i usually play this gave in bed so im almost always on my side, because of that the screen rotation is all over the place... I want it to stay vertical and with that i will be more comfortable! Also a settings menu would be cool im not a huge fan of those retro sounds, there should be a very in depth settings
Clever idea. Well instigated! Nice and relaxing... just need what's in the title to finish it off.. thanks! PS.plus add a menu and I'd pay for this game :) Will come back when all sorted...
I love this game but there are a few things that I think need to be worked on. There is no depth perception or being able to move the camera so sometimes i cant tell it something is a corner, a ramp, a drop, or flat surface. The next thing i think should be added is a reset button. I think you should be able to restart a level whenever you want. I find it a pain getting pver par and having to still finish the hole before getting to try again. The final thing I think should be added is a feature where you can go back to previous levels and play them again. Overall I love this game. The concept, and the laid back style. I can't stop playing but I think these things could really improve it.
I'd give it 5 stars if you added a rotate joystick or fixed the perspective. Another nice thing would be a pause menu with a "restart level" button. I'd like to be able to restart the level before completing it first (yeah, I love getting holes in one :)). Also, there's a glitch that causes the ball to randomly bounce backwards. It's pretty annoying when it happens. Otherwise it's a really good game, and definitely my favorite golf game so far. I rarely post reviews on apps. I only do this when the app is either terrible (which is not the case now) or REALLY good. I love this game!
Super addictive and great for killing time. The only bad part is if you're in the middle of a level and you turn the app off, when you turn it back on, the ball will be back at the starting point, but your previous moves will still count
Overall, an awesome game. I've never really been a fan of golf, but this game definitely pulled me in. The controls took a few levels of getting used to, but after that it was fine. They work perfectly and as they should. Graphics are great, they follow the 3D minimalistic trend which I really like; only thing I would suggest is more detailed shadowing and making the game choose perspectives that show the detail of the whole level, occasionally I found myself falling through surfaces that I perceived to be solid. Gameplay is immersive, and what's better is that there are no longer any ads. I almost couldn't change applications. In addition, I really like how there's no menu screen, as there doesn't need to be for this type of game, you can just jump straight in. 10/10 effort, and props to the developers who created an awesome and immersive mobile golfing experience.
I think I would be better if u give to users opportunity to reset lvl before completing and add simply settings like set of level of sounds loud. Mb opportunity to see geometry of map will be better solution for your app, thx programmers for good app)))))
Over all, I love it. It's a great game and it gets harder after about 250~ but the thing that always bothers me is that there isn't a lvl restart button. I could be in a horrible spot and I'd have to finish the lvl before being able to restart it.
Love the game, it's really relaxing to play and it's got a nice difficulty curve. The only issue is that it still rotates even when my phone autorotation is off! Other than that it's perfect
I absolutely love it and have spent hours playing on my down time, and the ability to pick back up exactly where I left off hours later and being able to play with any amount of time available, there is still a downfall. Yepp, you guessed it. Mentioned before in several comments a menu interface would be nice, for restarting levels. I also would like to see some sort of interface for replaying holes you have already beaten, but this is not necessary as I enjoy this game's random and creative levels. 4.8/5
Very good game. I love the idea of an infinite game. I keep coming back to it. However, it could do with a bit of fixing. Firstly, it needs some depth perception. I hit the ball across a seemingly flat platform, only to find it falling through. I can only assume it was two platforms, one above the other. It would be great if you could view the course from different angles. Also, a menu would be nice, just so you can see all the levels you have done, and maybe do them again. Other than this, I love it. Thx
At first I thought this was a simple mini-golf game. Very simple, clean and fun to play! Although I worried on the lack of variety and ease of levels. But Golfinity knows all your dirty little golfing secrets. It slowly let's you realize it has been going easy on you the entire time... now ya gotta hone those real skills and get down to the real game: a very rewarding and random puzzle game with fun physics and a perspective which is sometimes half the challenge!
Minigolf meets Desert Golfing. No ads, no distractions. And even some hundred holes in you still meet new obstacles. The only issue I have is with the perspective hiding vertical drops or important game features. I wish for a rotate button (90° steps with a smooth transition should work fine if you want to keep the aesthetics)
I never thought playing minimalistic golf would be so satisfying. This game is a great time killer for when you want to play something calm and relaxing. The minimal colors, design and sound really wrap up the experience. Although it's not quite 5 stars because I feel the game is lacking a few things such as the option to zoom in and out, and rotate around the map. All in all, great game.
The ball trajectory is wrong. when you hit a second wall in one swing. The ball will go parallel to the second wall no matter what angle it hit at. The larger courses start already zoomed in at the beginning not allowing you to see the whole course. There no exit button and clicking back doesn't do anything.
Needs a few things. Like better shading on the hills so you can tell which way they're going. Also, it needs the ability to change the camera angles, so you can better tell what you're doing. And maybe a restart button, so I don't have to finish the level to replay it in case I did something on accident my first move.
I have been addicted to this game since i got it, but there are some major issues. It needs more of a UI, so i can restart or oher things. It also needs some backround music, and if it did, it would also need a way to turn down the sound. Because when im listining to music, the sound are annoying. I also wish there was a way to cancel my shot, i sometimes accidently touch the screen and then i have to take my shot from that position. I was gonna write a closing sentance but i used all my characters
If there was such a thing as too minimalist, this is it. It's either a brilliant design choice or just lazy developers. Either way, it is a deeper existential journey than anyone should expect out of a golf game. Score means nothing when the level disappears after you move on, and even the idea of levels disappears as it seems each course is randomly generated, thus golfinity. Despite that, or maybe because of, I like it. It's intuitive enough to jump in and light enough to jump out. Perfect for a phone.
I can't stop playing it, it's so addictive! If I had to change one thing, I would add a menu when you open the app that gives you options for sound and a level select. Other than that, fun game!
This is probably the best golfing game on the Play Store. It's very fun and enjoyable to play, although the graphics are very clean and minimalistic, it does have its downsides; the perspective can fool you into a false vision of the course, since it's a fixed camera and there's no shadowing or reference of light. If that gets fixed, it's a solid 5-stars.
I really liked it, specially the ability tho replay the hole and better your score. The only thing lacking is a fast reset button when you want to retry right away instead of finishing the hole.
Love this little game. Great for those boring work meetings. Those horrible family dinners where they ask you why you're still single. Or even a night home on the couch because your "friends" didn't invite you out, again. Needless to say, I'm addicted to this non-judgmental, caring game.
Nice design, cool concept for an already overcrowded concept, beautiful gameplay...the only think is that you cant go back and improve your results of a previous hole(harsh...but actually more fun as it represents a good challenge)
Good game but no way to reset or even EXIT? That's beyond careless and arrogant. Who do you think we are - stupid iPhone users?
Level 306 has no collision box on the last half of the course. Other than that, it is the best mini golf game on Google Play. Filled a need I had
It is a very nice take on minigolf, but it is lacking as a proper/decent game/app. The biggest fault I have against this app is that it was not coded properly, pressing the back button should lead to a menu and from there to exit the app.
It's be better if I didn't have to figure out that you put stairs in a certain lvl by trial and error. Lvl 39 has stairs that nobody would know are stairs. All my shots were going off the map even when I aimed to compensate. It wasn't till I was 14 over that I realized hey they put stairs there. No lines or anything to indicate they were stairs. Wonder how many other lvls they have that have hidden drops or ramps. Little annoying. Well actually alot annoying
An excellent casual game which will, as they, claim never end. Only problem being the absolute lack of user interface - can't choose between levels or restart a level :(
Super addictive and great for killing time. The only bad part is if you're in the middle of a level and you turn the app off, when you turn it back on, the ball will be back at the starting point, but your previous moves will still count
Wish the game had fixed rotation. The fact that I have to hold my phone upright is annoying, I like playing games while I'm led down
Love the game, it's really relaxing to play and it's got a nice difficulty curve. The only issue is that it still rotates even when my phone autorotation is off! Other than that it's perfect
It does NOT need a menu....I was gonna rate it a 1.....but after learning how to play I find it one of the best games I've ever installed...it's easy, relaxing and Fun...Does need a EXIT button to make it stop running...5 stars
It's a nice simple game, but the UI could use some improvements. For example, a quick restart button and an option to mute sounds would be a great addition. Otherwise, its a fun game if you have time to spend.
No menu, no restart, no exit, no skip level, no level replay, no camera angles, almost no shading(not enough to be useful), minimalistic visuals, bad shot weight system, it's ok for the first few levels, but the moment you start incorporating complex 3D objects the lack of height indications makes it impossible to know what a surface is going to do. Go find another golf game.
This game needs a restart button for the courses, which resets your hits for the course you're on, it's frustrating when you're stuck and you have to spend ages completing the course just so you can restart it. Golf balls bouncing off walls needs to be improved as well, because it's not very realistic and you can't predict whee your ball will go when you bounce it off a wall. Other than that it's a fun game, with some improvements it would be perfect it's just quite frustrating as it currently is :))
Simple and fun to pass time. I would love a multiplayer option, so I can play with friends without affecting my score, but otherwise it's very fun for those that like mini golf.
Amazingly fun little time waster, and you definitely can't argue with the price!

I love this game. It's super relaxing and fun and easy to play. Biggest issue is the depth perception on some levels is impossible to tell what's up or down! Another thing I'd love to see is a restart button when you're in the middle of playing a level and you're not doing well. You have to get the ball into the hole before you can start over which is slightly annoying.
