To make the Hairies jump the gap you need to tap on them again mid-flight like Flappy Bird. The app works fine on my Smart Ultra 6. Good practice for High Frequency Words.

Good idea but the game is so inconsistent children get very frustrated. The "hairies" don't jump the gap and children end up loosing their built up scores. If this were fixed would be brilliant as I use this in school.

These apps are great....when they work. Unfortunately don't seem to load on s6 and then hang on black screens.

This is good fun for children, and well designed to motivate them and ensure they are memorising the words.

Used Hairy Letters and Hairy Phonics with great success but this game doesn't work. The first level is nothing like the level on the reviews. It seems much harder. No matter what we've tried the Hairies won't jump the gap. I can't make it work, let alone my son. It's a real shame as it has put him off trying.
