Dots: A Game About Connecting

Very addicting. Hard to put it down. Only reason for the 4-star rating rather than a 5-star is because of the new thunder cloud icon in the events games. There aren't any hints or instructions on how to destroy these clouds. I've tried numerous patterns and dot explosions, but nothing works. Any way you can provide a hint or two here as a reply to my post??

I purchased the $1.99 endless option but every time I try to play it it wants me to buy it again. I tried buying it again just to see if the original purchase didn't go through and got the message that I have already purchased it. So I can't play the endless game even though it knows that I bought it and every time I try to contact support I get the message that the server can't be reached. Its really starting to irritate me! Fix this for more stars!

New update does not allow for S Pen functionality in anything but game mode, have to put stylus away and use finger for all menu screens. Was better before the update, worked flawlessly in previous version, don't see why these changes were necessary.

I can't stop playing DOTS in endless mode. Ok, I'm going to quit writing this and go back to my DOTS. I even wear dots. I have them around my house too. Always loved them. Now it's a game too! No diagonal connects, that would be too easy. DOTS are perfect just like they are.

I do not get what goes thru a developer's mind when they try to 'enhance' their app! This one is awful! Color combos are so hard on the eyes, and tho the vibrate option is back but the intensity and length is so long. I realize you probably won't roll back to the better, earlier version but can you at least give us better color options to choose from? Seriously, have you tried to play this with the dark theme on?

It's fun, but it gets old quickly. Could be interesting as a minigame in a larger game, though. To be fair, I'm reviewing it by the standards of handheld console games; if you're the sort who can play just Tetris and Bejeweled for months on end without getting bored, you might like this one more.

I love this game! I think it would be fun if they had a feature that challenges you to collect dots of one color. Changing my rating because I purchased the endless mode and didn't get the unlimited shrinkers and exspanders like it said. I'd really like my money back.

Perhaps I'm biased because I started out with Dots & Co and was well into 100+ levels before I discovered this one. Compared to the newer game, this one seems repetitive and without purpose. It's nice (I liked the challenger version) but TOO simple compared to it's younger sibling.

Game is fun to play but elements now missing or removed. Cannot connect to any account to save/restore purchases or achievements or play against friends. If you uninstall you'll lose it all. Also, links in app to email and support are broken. Facebook button goes to Two Dots profile. Seems as though devs have abandoned this for their other games.

I think this is a wonderful idea. There are a two things I want to see: -Player vs. Player live mode where both of you go against each other on one screen -Less restrictions to buy buy buy! That's what really turned me off. Not very fun. Until then, uninstall.

I love this game, I've had it for years, playing it nearly every day. Trouble is that the 'do a barrel roll' achievement will not show as fulfilled. It's the one where you get all 36 dots cleared in a single line with dark mode on. I've done it several times, even taking a screenshot on the most recent, and yet the achievement is still unfulfilled. Very frustrated, since I even spent money on powerups.

literaly one of the most boring games ive ever played. not only i played it once and got bored, i played it for 4 minutes and literaly couldnt continue i mean like there is no reason why would i. holy crap

A great game and totally addictive... For the first month or so. This is one of those games that you play the crap out of for a stretch, then completely abandon when the next one comes around.

I have the dark theme on and have got the "36 dots in a line with dark them on" like 5 times!!! I want my 32/32 trophies. It's got to be a glitch or something. Will be 5 stars once I get my trophy. (Yes, it's that important to me.)

This game is brilliant!!! It's a great way to kill time anywhere. And I mean ANYWHERE. I once played this game sitting on the sidewalk at a parking lot. But... the only reason why I'm playing this game so much is to unlock the Mod Synth theme. .. so. .. yeah. Great game, Mod Synth costs a Lotta dots. Must have mod Synth.

Everything is nice as u mostly like to play these kind of games for killing time. But just to report a small bug, in timer mode, if you select an option from bottom to remove a color of the canvas, and tap *back* button. The timer goes to stop. Hence timer mode becomes infinite mode. Hope this gets fixed in the next releases.

Love the game, but found a bug that gives you infinite play time and records your score. Galaxy S6 Edge. Also confirmed on a Galaxy Note 3. Don't want to disclose it until there's a response from Playdots.

Great game but incredibly disappointed that I can't recover my $1.99 endless play license. It turns out that IAPs for this game don't get linked to your Google Play account, so if your device gets wiped, you're SOL on your purchase. I won't be giving this dev my money again.

For beginners why donyt we start off with the fact that the app won't even open!!!! Thanks that's 5minutes of my life that I'll never get back over an app that doesn't even seem to open up THANKZ!

But i hated the new design. The game was beautiful as it was. I dont like the larger dots... They do not look clean. Also, I end messing up with my power ups, everytime i just want to use the smartphone buttons, because of this new somewhat full screen thing. The game was really perfect. You could just have added the new layouts, the in app purchases... Please, restore the original layout...

I love this game and play it all the time since it's quick and simple. However, I have a small problem. I can't fulfill the"Do a Barrel Roll" trophy despite the fact that I take all the necessary steps. I don't know if it's just impossible or the requirements listed are wrong. I have all the other trophies and it feels weird seeing that one missing.

This is an incredible game, but there are still regular input lag spikes on even high end devices. Very frustrating and will ruin your streak every single time. Please fix this!

Good to pass time, but since when does endless cost money? That's what I played on my old phone all the time for free. Not purchasing that. Unimpressed.

Theme updates now make it harder to play. Basic themes like the Christmas/winter scence now cost to activate. Very disappointed. Will probably uninstall.

I have had this game several years and love it. However the latest update makes it difficult to exit out of the game and it takes me a while to close it to be able to use other stuff on my phone.

I can't connect to Facebook and play with friends when I could before. I uninstalled it a couple months ago and decided to play again cause I missed it. Please fix and I'll give 5 stars! Thank you.

I've completed the barrel roll as requested 3 different ways and haven't received the reward. Worked fine on my old android device a couple of years ago. Please fix. Tired of wasting my dots on it while repeatedly trying. Um...no. Current version.

It has some glitches but it is OK and it a little fun too.

I prefer to use the black background. But in low lighting, the blue and the green dots look very similar. Could you make them easier to tell apart? For example, make the blue darker? Thanks.

I absolutely love Dots. Super casual yet super competitive. There are micro transactions but you can unlock them by playing the game. The gameplay is addicting and simple and I haven't ha a problem with the app since it first came out. Keep up the good work!

It's such a simple game done very well. Soothing, pleasing sounds. Great play to unwind.

Clearly addictive. Should add a leader board and a list of my own top 5 scores. Also, should reward making larger box connections. Sadly, the developers seem uninterested in innovating or enhancing.

I love this game! it's an adorable little game the design is so simple and cute :) A few things to consider ~it would be nice to use the dots to buy the stuff like the designer extra instead of using money. ~ diagonal connections would be nice. ~

I really liked the game, design is nice, easy to learn, the games are short,... But when I discovered the power-ups everything was ruined. I liked the challenge of the game. Power ups feel a bit like cheating :/ how to fix this: Make us earn the power-ups within the game not independently of it by buying it.

Is this ever going to be fixed??! My app won't stop freezing. Every time I go to challenges it goes blank && freezing everything.

I love Dots. It would make it more fun if you could connect dots diagonally. It is fun when you have time to kill because you always want to beat your or your friends highscores. Other than the diagonal connecting, great game and I love it!!! :-P

On my Android One device with Mediatek MTK6582 SoC, the previous versions exhibited performance issues. The update not only fixed the issues but also added new customizations/features Good job guys!

Me and my love constantly play this game at every break and before bed. Good head to head competition. Addicted for life!

Allot is different but the game it self is still great for passing time. I think two dots is more of a challenge though
