Very smooth game play, and the visuals are very nice. I don't know if any controller support has been patched in, but if not that should be priority. The virtual thumb stick can be a bit annoying at times. But it's not enough of an issue to dock a star. I recommend fans of the series pick this game up. Well worth it in my opinion.

There is an error. "Unfortunately, Package Access Helper has stopped." Happen on my Tablet with 4.4.4. But it works fine on my Phone with 4.1.2. I did some reading on the internet that some games won't work on the newer Android on some of the phones and tablets. They said something about it trying to download the info onto the sdcard/Android Phone or sdcard/Tablet at the same time and then crashes. Sound like a loop or something. I don't know that is true or not. Please beware of this error.

I'd rather pay that upfront and not be scammed all the time. Some of the games charge £70 for a car! This is just how I remember the arcade machine and its on a phone!! Playing on a Nexus 5, MM 6.0.01 and it's fluid. Not a stutter or glitch. Perfect. IF YOU ARE GOING TO SLAG THE PERFORMANCE YOU NEED TO STATE THE PHONE AND O/S. Almost everything I remember. No intro, no multiplayer. Those are the only real complaints. It's a classic game even without these features.

Simply put, it's laggy and the buttons won't respond well as they used to. When you're fighting mitsurugi and on his boat level stage, the lag is VERY noticeable. My inputs and movements is slow to the point the app closes at times.. 14.99 can't give u a laggy ass game

I had been happy, until recent updates force you to use a game controller, which makes it so I cannot play the game. Someone should sue these jerks. They have literally made it so I cannot access goods and services I paid for. zero stars.

From graphics to characters and combos, this game is insanely good!! A must have for fighting game fans, on the platform - there ain't anything better than this. Period.

I wanted to get this game but it did not play on my gamepad at first even though I updated the Google play app. So I tried it on my tablet and it works fine after it rebooted itself. So I thought to reboot my gamepad and it finally works. At first, I thought it I need to refund it but seem to fine after a reboot... Unlike the Dreamcast version, the android version does not have an option to add subtitles before and after the characters win/lose and the opponents.

Plays like a dream and the controls are actually easy once you play around with settings. Everything youd expect from the first instalment is here and it looks fantastic, even so on my GS5 it is the fastest loading game i have. Now get Tekken 3 on this platform if you can manage this.... LGG5 has massive issues with lag...despite the better processesor and RAM...

Slowdown occurs rarely for me. The button overlay is great for pressing multiple buttons, since you can't press both buttons at once (unless you play with the phone on your lap). Only two additional buttons is okay, since the button overlay exists, but the button size makes things unplayable. I'd suggest a button scaler for both the joystick and the buttons, because my hands miss them a lot due to the small size. The opacity in conjunction with this would make the screen visibility a minor issue.

Have a Samsung Note 3. And the 14 dollar app won't even open... what a waste of money. I'm hoping to get a refund

This game is great but now time has passed and Bandai needs to release a newer version, even if it takes up more space. Also, they need to release a Tekken version just like this. People would gladly pay for it.

Way back when this game was one of the first fighting games I played. Everything runs smoothly, well polished, and stays true to the classic. Please bring Soul Calibur 2 to mobile.

THIS is how you port a game to Android! Great graphical updates, tight controls, ensuring performance doesn't degrade on older hardware, connectivity to Google Play Games, this game has it all. Hats off to you, Namco Bandai! This is easily the best fighting game on Android. The $15 price tag on this is completely justified. Great work! Would love to see the other Soul Calibur games on Android. Note: This game is best played on a gamepad, probably. Certain combos require 2-button combos which is not possible if you're playing on a touchscreen... unless you lay your device flat and use more than just your thumbs.

This game is so fun, but one major problem is that it lags on Some stages including the final boss. Pls fix

The only things I could think of to improve this would be cloud saves and optional English voices. It's pretty great.

Classic fighting game, everything about it is awesome, only flaw is that its alil hard to perform all the moves on a smartphone unless u have a controller which I recommend, other than that 4 out of 5.... GREAT GAME...

The app first crashed on opening now claims an issue with the license and the developer has yet to do anything to help

The lag was fixed on the final boss stage, this game is so amazing and it's so nice to see it supported by the developers still, I love it. Also that Chris Mcloser down there in the comments gives every app 1 star, hater

Well, the game is great and all, but it's been lagging a lot lately and if you use a button a lot, let's say you perform a combo with the Kick button, it suddenly gets stuck as if you're holding it down. In order to get it back to normal, you need to pause the game. The problem is that it happens a lot so it really bothers me. I'm playing it in Moto X 2nd editions

This game is somewhat choppy... Playable, but choppy nonetheless. I find that unacceptable considering the high specs of the Z3 Tablet and that this game apparently works flawlessly on old phones like the Xperia Play. There are other problems too like no subtitle options like in the Dreamcast version, as well as strange typos here and there. The character models are on point, but overall this game isn't polished enough for me to recommend.

I can't believe I can play this game on my phone. Absolutely brilliant. I figured the controlling would be a little wonky but it plays really well for on screen controls. I am impressed. It's worth the money for me because I used to love playing this game in the arcade when I was in High School. And now its in my pocket on my phone. I ❤ technology.

This game is a must have for any Soul Calibur fan. It plays so smooth like it should and it works so well with the Native PS3 gamepad option on my phone. The one thing it doesn't have is mission mode, a minor disappointment but not enough to leave me unsatisfied. BUY IT NOW!!! WHY ARE YOU WASTING TIME READING THIS?

Just like I remember. Only thing lacking is blue tooth controller support. Please add this feature it would make the game more enjoyable for me. 5 stars when controller support is added.

Im happy with this game in that the game I got is close to what I expected. The cost, is kinda up there, but there is no in game adds. What i don't like is how on some devices my stats aren't updated. About half the time the game hangs (crashes) my phone, when i go to turn it off. Ive had to remove the battery to get it to turn off. The game offers a decent experience to that of the console version of the same game, and am happy about that.

Great port. The only thing that is missing is Full Screen Immersive Mode support. Add it on the next update PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

The mobile version keeps shutting down

I bought the game a few days ago and then a few days later, the game said,"Please buy the game at the Google Play Store." Fix this then i will rate it 5 stars.

Very smooth. Some multi touch commands are hit or miss but overall it works great

Wonderful port of the best 3d fighting game of all time. Only major problem is that throws do not work. Even with a controller plugged in and carefully pressing attack plus guard simultaneously the character will block 9/10 times. Also no option to reconfigure or add buttons to controller mapping.

I'm a huge fan of Tekke and Soul Caliber and couldn't b more satisfied. The game is super smooth on my s6 and it's a MUST BUY for fans of SC. I only wish there was 1 more dual buttons option but 2 is good enough.
