About Eureka!
The exclamation 'Eureka!' is famously attributed to Archimedes. "Eureka" comes from the Ancient Greek word εὕρηκα (heureka) and means "I have found it”.
The Eureka caption game is named after the “eureka moment”, also known as the “aha! moment”. The aha! moment refers to the experience of suddenly seeing the solution to a problem or concept. When you suddenly see the solution, that sudden understanding is often accompanied by an exclamation of joy, by an Aha! moment.
That “aha! moment” is what the Eureka caption game is all about. We show you an image, and leave you to figure out what that image stands for and then provide the caption for it.
As one person put it “I spent a while trying to work it out. I eventually had a ‘Eureka’ Moment driving home. What a fantastic feeling.”
You do have the option to get a letter, delete some letters or get a hint.
But if you really want to have some of those wonderful “aha! moment” let your subconscious go to work. View the drawing, relax and think about, even forget about it for a while. The subliminal mind is very powerful and in time the caption will just float to the top of your mind, often when you least expect it.
