Tichu for Android
...there is a bug that needs fixing. When somebody calls tichu or g.tichu and you pass them the dog somewho the other one gets it and can always start so the one who calls tichu can start. When this is fixed it would be a good game.
The cards are way too small on my G5 and there is a huge waste of space in main player area. Also, to remedy that, i tried to download on my tablet but its not compatible!! Boo!! Please fix!!
Terrible. Do not pay for this. Avoid. Couldn't get a refund. Terrible graphics make it nearly unplayable. Can't see how many cards or tell turn order easily. So not buy.
The way the game renders on my phablet screen... the cards are almost too small to see; whereas the player names are huge, eating up most of the available real estate. I feel cheated, having paid a few bucks for a game that is virtually unplayable. Ironically, my old phone was a very small iPhone, but the competitor Tichu app was imminently playable. That developer really knew what he was doing and built in a richness of audible cues, music, customizable settings, and visual details that improved play.
This version compared to that available in the apple store is disappointing. I'm confused as to why the cards are so small that I can barely see them. And I wish the cards were played in the center so not all the cards were visible on the table. Poor design and expected better for $3. Total ripoff.
On Htc One works great but on Samsung galaxy s6 i cant see the menu.
I've been playing this game and the app all the time for years training myself to count cards. I love it! It's got a great AI and is a challenge without cheating. However, the format hasn't adjusted to modern phones. There is no options button you can push if you don't have the harware button on your phone. Also if you have a big phone the cards are way too tiny to read or click on. If your name is too long it cuts off the score board. I wish they'd fix it. :( If it works on your phone is a great app.
Don't waste your money because you won't be able to see your own cards! The playing area is huge and the cards are so small that I can barely read them even with cheaters on! Could not find any way to magnify my hand to see it.

As state in the title I've played this game daily for well over a year. Its got a very challenging AI which makes for strategy development to be crucial to keeping the wins rolling in. Brilliant app. Great play!
Can't access the menu on Galaxy S6 and above decices. Needs to be added to UI.
Whoever wrote the program obviously had no clue how the subtleties of the game work. It's not challenging, and is little more than a time-waster.
This is a solid implementation of a good game but needs an update for high resolution devices. The cards are wee tiny on newer phones.
I had said tichu. I had a bomb and 3. I throw the bomb and while I was ready to finish and win the tichu my partner hit me with a bomb of A. As a result I lost the tichu. Seriously now? I have put all the players to the expert. What's wrong with this app? Fix it.
I like this app but the cards show up really small on my g3 compared to the Galaxy s3 I had. I can't find a setting to fix this. Please fix!
So i learned this game the other night and wanted some practice so I could stop ruining the game for my partner. So I bought the app only to find out that my partner is an idiot and keeps stealing the play from me and ring to win it all by themselves. I guess it teaches me what not to do but it isn't any funn.. Can we give Zero Stars dont waste your money
Horrible AI, actually getting worse.
The cards are passed to the wrong players. please fix?
It doesn't do well on my note 4, my cards are so small it's hard to play!
Especially very conservative in chasing the Dragon. The game often ends with the Dragon. And to fast playing high cards on chance of going out , leaving you with low cards when bombs are played
This product started out with potential, began to realize it, and then the developer seemed to have dropped off the earth. E-mails go unanswered, the forum for the game is dead and now it's unplayable on newer phones. I suspect it has much to do with lackluster sales as so relatively few people know Tichu. Note that as of this post there are only 70 total ratings after it being on the market for quite some time. It's still the best Tichu app I've found on any device. Pity.
Many ways to customize. Kills time.

I have played this game for hours!
My go-to game when I'm stuck waiting for something. Addictive. This has really taught me the game.
Cards don't show up on Jelly Bean. I hope this will get fixed soon, as it is an otherwise great app. Multiplayer support would be awesome!
Great app, I just can't help starting it pretty much every time I open my Galaxy Tab.
Can't see the special cards
Thanks for developing this.
Its not a bad game. The iPod versions definitely is nicer has a better UI also let's you arrange your cards. The computer makes some strange playing choices. I play this game everyday at lunch so I know a strange play when I see one.
WHY DOES MY PARTNER KEEP OVERBOMBING ME WHEN I CALLED TICHU??
I've been having a great time playing the AIs. If you want something to kill time and test your tichu skills on, this is it. The user interface is still kind of crufty but the programmer has been making steady improvements, and now (March 2012) it is completely usable although not super pretty.
The designer has much improved this app based on feedback. As such, I am increasing my rating. The game plays much better and is very enjoyable.
Wow! Hats of to the programmer...very responsive to comments...very quickly implemented major improvements. A few applications of polish to beautify the graphics (tabletop play area and Player's card area) and this is without a doubt a 5 star game. Great AI.
Update fixed layout on tablets, Thanks!
Great app of a great game.
The app only lets you play against a computer, where is the Android Games integration to play with others online, I mean we are on a mobile device here. Much more fun to play in person.
I love this game. The mechanics are great, only downside is your partner AI is a bit... Hard to play with sometimes, other than that it plays just like the physical card game. Well done.

It's laid out so poorly. The cards are too small and dont organise themselves into ascending order which should be a given. My friends have the iPhone app and it's much better formulated. Really need to look at this and improve it. Tichu is an awesome game and this app is letting the team down
