＜あらすじ＞
主人公の名は、ちりめん工場の工場長こと「こうじょうちょう」。

ベルトコンベアの上を流れるちりめんの中から「もんすたあ」と呼ばれる
えびやたこ、海藻のなかまなど、いろんな種類の微生物を取り除いて、
みんなにおいしいちりめんを届けている。

ぶっきらぼうで根暗で性悪。人付き合いがちょっと苦手。
そんな彼は、ちりめんと共に流れていく穏やかな日々を楽しんでいた。


ある日の帰り道、１匹のねこと出会う。
ねこはちりめんが大好きらしい。

工場に連れていってみると、ねこはこうじょうちょうの作業に興味津々。
こうじょうちょうのマネをして、ちりめんの選別にチャレンジしてみる。

そんな一朝一夕で出来るわけがない…！
と、ほくそ笑む工場長をしり目に…

５分でなんだか様になってきた…！！


かくして、人手不足でねこの手も借りたいこうじょうちょうは、
ねこを助手として採用することに…！！


徐々に明らかになるねこの高ステータス。

有能すぎるねこに、こうじょうちょうの立場は！？

そしてねこ屋敷化する工場の衛生面は…！？


ねことの出会いを通じて変化していくこうじょうちょうの、心温まるストーリー。
