1s and 2s can only combine with each other. 1 + 2 = 3
White tiles combine with identical white tiles. 3 + 3 = 6, 6 + 6 = 12, 12 + 12 = 24...
Red tiles are wildcards! They will combine with anything!
Orange tiles will combine with 1 or 2 to make 3. With white tiles they will make the highest number you've achieved in the current game.
