Zombie City Defense 2 for Android
Its a fun game i enjoy it, ive played a few hours and its getting a lot better. Only reason its not 5 stars is how long it takes to get any worth while units. The missions are interesting and fun and the different difficulty settings changes the dynamic for each mission. Only problem is im 5 hours in and beat the first 4 mission and cannot afford snipers. I think the cost of some of the units and abilities should be reduced. I will not spend any money on in game purchases when i paid money for a game. 9/10
I generally dislike TD games as being less about startegy and more about puzzles. I like that this opens up a range of ways to play and win, very well done. My one issue is that I wish there were a freeplay, all units and abilities available mode.
I want to love this game, but it is ridiculously difficult in frustrsting ways. You'll have to grind in infinite mode on 1-2 early stages to unlock units but then you are limited on deployment points and then the zombies make no sense WRT their power vs humans. Practically need a detailed walk through to get past level 4 just on casual. I'd ask them to fix it but this seems to be the problem since beta rollout. Bummer.
The contrast is horrible, can't see unless 50%+ brightness. The controls are horrible. Just understanding the tutorial and moving units to buildings is exercise in frustration.
I really liked the first one, but the sequel seems to be more complicated but without properly explaining how the new interface and features work. I might give it another go, though. I'll be sure to update the review if my opinion changes.
Very confusing, I had a hard time getting through even the tutorial. Seemed good, but probably too complex for mobile game :-/
Enjoying BUT it's impossible to get past fourth level: waves are just too much at only half round. I tried several times with different tactics but it seema impossible. Maybe its an issue with my savegame because i played al infinite mode in lv.2 and got really past, only after that ALL levels became impossible to afford in a certain round.
Did these reviewers play the game? Seems like a beta version. Tutorial is really bad, the prepare screen has different options like vehicles that I have no idea what they do. Seems very unbalanced, a scout cost six people to create but it gets killed before rescuing enough people to make more units. Definitely not worth the high price. As for the reply, I am playing on the first mission on casual with all my units fully upgraded, bulldozers, mach. gun, barricades and can't get past the level.
This game is a gem???? its probably one of the best mobile games ive tried....the devs could do so much more though...multi co-op, random maps...factions as well as zombies. It would be very easy to turn this game from TD into a real RTS????
After trying many strategies and replaying the tutorial, the first level was still hard. The game does not allow you to group units together into a fleet, which is something most rts games have. Unit range is badly represented, as they would not shoot until an enemy was point blank, even when I ordered a unit to attack, they would get far closer to the enemy then they should have needed to, and other times it would work fine. The enemy A.I is too smart, they go straight for your scout, going past your heavily defended base, or going around your base to attack the foward post in the mountains, Units that weren't even attacking them, but your base units were. Waves are either really easy, or really hard, zombies die easy, bug things die easy although the range problem happens alot with them, spitters die somewhat easy if you lure them, and brutes wreck you. Brutes dont die. I had 4 of the AT guys, who were well within range, but not shooting, meanwhile the wave of 20 something brutes gunned right for my scout, and then my general. Also, the spike drone had no effect on anything. Built 6 to see if they slowed anything down but they just did the fire animation and the enemy marched along unaffected.
Awesome gameplay....though I would really improve the tutorial, its a bit overwhelming for a newbie....that's probably not an issue.... anyway thanks for the game devs
Great game that is not easy. Beat every level. Would give 5 stars but game does lag a bit.
It still needs some major updates not only for the AI but for the graphics, i would love if i could choose multiple troops at once that would make some levels much easier
I would definitely would recommend this for a RTS fan its gits a little choppy but I can notice the difference on my new ZenPad 8.0 no lag at all so if your a RTS fan I recommend this!
I like this game. I hope there's a zombie campaign like this one
Incredible, but need to be better in the control management. Also this game is perfect for VR in the future
I don't know what everyone else is having trouble with; this game is just the right amount of difficulty.
Not a fan of TD but this one is good which give me an entirely different game experience and it has a mix of rts on it.
Amazing game! Its an actual strategy game that is engaging and pretty detailed. Its worth the money.
HOW DO YOU GET PAST 4 I CAN'T BEAT IT AND IT'S MISSING ME OFF!
There is almost no guidance making this game a confusing mess.
I want my refund back NOW
Hard to rotate screen
Layers upon layers of buttons for menus. Would not recommend.
Great game.
Best phone RTS.
Prefer the first one
Unique game
Love it
great ...
Pretty good idea... BUT....: The controls need some debugging Sometimes it is quite hard to scroll or rotate through the map and from time to time it's kind hard to select the units. I know it's not hardware issue since I've checked in more than one device
Too much. The first game had large easily defined icons for the units. This game tripled the number of icon and I can't remember what all does what. The icon art looks like silly emojis and not units in a military simulation. Overall the game looks and feels cheesy compared to the first installment and has way too many things to monitor and its harder to control it all.
The original had great graphics and intuitive controls. This is laggy, clumsy and confusing. It seems incomplete, there is no description of troops or zombies so no idea what all those symbols on the screen are.
Why should you squirm to get an eye full. This is an ant farm and one needs a magnifying glass an some tweezers just to get to the recruits. Here I am dripping sweat with one glass in my had to qwell my thirst as a spasm runs across my back as I lean in with mine tweez wondering whom commanded and whom conquered...
I loved the first one, even though I won every mission with just maxed machine gunners and grenadiers. Installing now
This is a fantastic sequel to the first one. So much more in depth. Graphics, sound and game play are spot on. Had an issue with the game at first and after emailing the devs, they sorted it out straight away. Support from these devs is first rate. Looking forward to playing this now.
Amazing game wow, I'd love a beta tester option too so the early adopters can get in on early releases, other than that it's brilliant
What a epic game been looking ages for a game like this thanks
Epic. This sequel came out of nowhere + is just blowing me away. A deeper, more refined version of the first game. Again, once you get the hang of the command UI it's pretty much full on. A premium game of this quality at this price is a steal, support these developers.

Hard game requires too much grinding. Well, even though the game has potential, it is by far too hard. Having success requires a lot of grinding and repeating the missions. That kills the fun. So please, rework a bit the difficulty level. At least for casual difficulty. Besides I'm not sure why you need these permissions like location or personal files. Thats not making things better.
