Escape Machine City

Absolutely brilliant. EMC gives you 8 free levels to play, each level offering at least 3 puzzles. It's a variety of logic challenges; most fairly simple, but a couple are devilishly difficult (and Yes, I had to use the walk-thru video.) The steam punk graphics are elaborate, realistic & quite beautiful. And I loved the unusual music. I don't normally pay for games, but this one's definitely on the list.

There is a bug at level 3 in the sense that when you complete the "shapes" puzzle on the controller that's supposed to change the direction of the power in the rails...it doesn't. Watched the walkthrough (btw nice feature), did everything exactly like in the tutorial, same result. The curb to right still stays green instead of changing to red and the allowing the straight line to go green. Maybe i'm doing smth wrong, don't know. Otherwise great game, nice gameplay, awesome graphics! :)

Beautiful game! Great art style and enough to persuade me to buy the full version. There seems to be a small problem with the refinery level though. There are multiple solutions to the grid of pipes, yet there is only one that triggers the next puzzle. The grid should either be uniquely solvable or all solutions should trigger the next puzzle.

It's a nice game, but I found the puzzles a little too easy. Based on how long it took to solve the free stuff I didn't feel inclined to splash out for the last few levels. The game looks great and there is a plot of sorts, which is an improvement on most escape games!

I can't often be bothered to write reviews but thought this was such a great game I would. The graphics and general feel are great. I played it on a phone and had no real problems other then not being able to solve a couple of puzzles. My only request is add more levels. It is a great stimulating way of whittling away time. Well done to the developers.

What a shame. The game isn't optimized for mobile. The telescope puzzle is impossible to fine tune by hand. As soon as you take your finger of the screen it slides into some other position. Otherwise the puzzles are nice and the visuals are amazing. The levels I paid for aren't unlocked. I'll get a refund from Google.

This isn't really a review as I haven't finished yet, so my final comment will be added later. For programmers notice. There is a bug on level 11. The mosaic pieces will not glue together. I noticed another reviewer has had the same problem. This is extra annoying because I paid for the ad-free version. I double checked by pausing the solution screen and taking a photo of it compared to my own. I have all the pieces in the right place but level 11 cannot be completed. Can you fix this?

The game is fine, and the graphics are detailed, but the structure is illogical. The puzzles are creative but linear, and make no sense in the larger context of the story. Would a real city that had to function be built so that one had to do these things to get from one area to another?

Loved it until I got to the 13th level and became stuck not because I didn't know what to do but because the game's puzzle is not working properly! I even emailed the company! A week ago! NOTHING! NO REPLY! I even payed for all levels and now I'm not going to get the last three three levels because of their glitch that they obviously don't want to address with me! UNHAPPY

I really didn't think I was going to like this game because of the lack of instruction with the puzzles. Surprisingly, I loved the game. A majority of the puzzles, although difficult at times, I was able to put the clues together. There wasn't the nonsense of weird conditions that nobody would figure out like only able to find a clue if you look through a straw while having a bottle as a lens. One odd issue of occurred when connecting pipes to form a path. I did it but nothing happened but when I tried the connection shown in the walk through, it did work. Bug? Highly recommend this game!

Don't listen to the haters- they're just cheap and should be embarrassed of carrying on. Its $4 to play the entire game, which is A standard price. A lot of work goes into these games, and when its as good as this one, the creator should be compensated. I Absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED it! For once, an escape game that actually makes sense. Challenging, but enjoyable. I've played so many that I've had to uninstall after the first level because the only way to solve it is to be a mind reader. The only part I needed to cheat was connecting the pipes in level 13. I had it connected, but it wasn't the way the dev wanted it connected. However, that was the only aggravating part. Downloading the second game now and can not wait! Thank you for such a refreshingly great game!

Because if a bug I am not able to escape from the lobby no matter what. Please release a finished game before expect user's to pay. I would have felt very bad I had made the payment and discovered the bug. Otherwise a typical but a good escape game.

Was really enjoying this game til I got to the observatory. I line the wires up to complete the circuit but the bottom lights do not light up green. I even checked walkthrough and I have them in correct order. Have even reinstalled and still same problem.

I liked the game but not d service as I wanted buy all levels so I bought VIP offer but I dint get any confirmation or game levels unlocked and my amount got debited showing payment done. You are looting people.

The game its self is fine. I am giving 3 stars because after each level you get an ad then on top of that you have to pay for the levels after 8. I will not support a developer who has that many annoying ads and wants users to pay for levels. I don't mind paying, but not for levels and a separate payment to remove ads smh.

Can't do level 3 even after watching the hint. I did it correctly but train won't move. My wife had same trouble. Must be a bug in the game

The game it's self is great; however if I have to watch ads then I should not have to buy all the levels after 8. Make it paid or not. Don't try to trick me into it by doing both.

The walkthrough is a nice touch. But its actually really easy puzzels. I paid 5.00 for something that should have been free. Reallybdissapointed that the game lasted for less than a week of un non consistent playing.

Beautiful game although a bit on the easy side. First 8 levels are free then you'd habe to pay to keep playing. The game just wasn't enough of a challenge to make it worth it for me but it would be a nice game for kids and people just getting into the escape thing.

Pay after level 8 is scummy tactic while is loaded with ads. Dont waste ya time as not worth paying acter initial size

One no pay is nice but I made it to a level and thought would save my progress to that point and didn't so now I have to finish that level again witch I don't even feel like do now cuz pissed off still

Soooo greedy, You already get alot of money from ads. Only 20% of players will buy ??? You will lose ads then, Good luck

Great game, but I'm not gonna pay over £3 for 6 more levels when the first 9 were free. Maybe bring the pricing down or have 25 levels altogether. Shame, because there's somthing great here besides that.

It's ok I guess.. not very challenging.. higher levels are paid, I decided not to buy. if you're looking for something more difficult (and better story) try The Room instead.

Liked the game at first but was very disappointed to find I could only play 9 levels before I had to buy them. What a cheap thing to do when the game is marked free.

It is bs that I am only able to play 8 levels then have to pay. Games should warn that you have pay to play after a certain level and not say it is free It should say demo.

First 8 levels are free and really good. I thought the other 7 were overpriced, so didn't pay. Especially since the first levels also have ads.

Once again you have a BIG HIT ON YOUR HANDS WITH ONE EXCEPTION, ALL THE AD'S just before watching the walk through, what a pain in the butt. ALL IN ALL GREAT GAME GET RID OF SO MANY OF THE AD'S then you get 5 ☆☆☆☆☆.

It takes a lot of trial and error, a high IQ, and tons of logic and common sense to get through these! This WILL test your brain! And just remember: if it doesn't work, go find more objects, and try using them differently.

This game is to slow and it sucks I beat all 8 levels under 20 mins and it also had way to many ads o wouldn't waste my money on this game uninstalled

Ch11 messed up. The puzzle won't trigger completion to allow the glue and other things.

Fun game. The puzzles could be a little harder. The additional levels are not worth the price of $5.00 since there are only 10 more levels and being not so difficult. Watching ads between level

Not challenging. The so called puzzles are based on just touching the screen and eventually finding a solution. There's no problem solving skills used here. Just touch and get lucky.

I love this game! Absolutely one of my favorites games to date. Beautiful graphics and great puzzles, it's hard to put it down sometimes.

Crashes every couple of minutes. Otherwise it would probably be 5 stars

I didn't like the fact I brought the game, but still got adds??? And rubbish that you only get 9 levels before you have to start paying for levels!!! Rip off!!

Tutorial is way too slow and boring. Can't be bothered with it.

Worst game among this type of games....i thought that...i can play all the levels, but...from level 9 till the rest of the levels..i have to buy....hey the manager of the game.are you luanching game or doing a business?..huh

I love this game. The graphics, the music, the gameplay, everything is good but there was one main fault. Only 8 levels are available. Rest have to be bought with money
