First Wood War

Just started this game. So far it looks like all the campaigns are free (there are a lot of them). You start of as one of the tree kings and you have to get back your kingdom. Very easy mechanics. You cannot control your units. The story is intriguing. Looks like there is multiplayer as well.

Game has great detail in the graphics, but the interaction of play is boring. The screens dont transition right, some screens overlap or wont register that you selected an item. Game play is extremely simplistic, buy a solider and off they go. Cant direct or do anything beyond that, so your inter action with the game is truly boring. Not really complex enough to entertain anyone over the age of 8 unless you like tapping the same part of the screen over and over and over......and thats it

Its too hard, even when it says its easy. Tone down the difficulty for at least some players who need an understanding of the gameplay. I know other players love complex games, but at least give the new blood/players a chance to see the story and enjoy it. Please fix it to give us a great experience.

Played for the first 3 days spent too much money already...but it's different ..maps get confusing...spend most time focusing on sending out troops then actually watching battles ...repetive got a lil boring ...hate that I spent the money now

Like most games of late about 1/4 way into the game the difficulty spikes in a attempt to force you to buy nuts to continue. As most games the nuts are a unreasonable price. I miss the days of just buying a game and not having micro transactions.

I love this game. its the best moble game ive ever played. but I do have 1 complaint. To unlock troops or towers you have to be a sertant level. I think the Apples should be good enough. You should take off the level requirments and just have players pay with apples

We need more game like this. maybe the developer can also further the game by being able to build our town. go get resources. attack other base or have like a story line. something that would look like the good old Warcraft III game. now a game like that I would be willing to support it with money for sure.

If ur lucky enough to get that far without spending good luck. This game is cheap in so many ways. They give u 5 path ways, all (of course) occupied by the enemy. They give u no time before they already out level ur troops(a matter of seconds, when YOU need minutes) and they come through all 5 paths strangeling any wood production while they have seemingly limitless wood. This is the pay stage, they strategically set it up where u must pay by this point or quit. Screw this stupid piece of crap game!!

Does not save off google play. Does not allow you to build gates in some multi player screen. Units some time dont come out but are counted as max units. Multi does not earn skill points leveling. They normally seem AI controlled. At lower levels they buy high level units with nuts wich give a great advantage. Can be free to play if you spend wisely from what i can tell and win multiplayer bets. Either they really suck or they are AI with their advanced units they should be pretty hard to beat if real.

Fun as of thus far, but I've been noticing that an exact same number of the exact same type of unit on the enemy team can wipe out mine with ease, and I can't upgrade my units unless I beat them. Probably my fault for taking the wrong skills, but it is bothersome nonetheless.

Multiple glitches with the game. Problems with catapult buttons not working. Pause menu button sometimes glitches during game play. Over laps when starting the game sometimes. 4 out of 5 if the game was functional. 1 out of 5 as is.

Id love to play this game but it doesnt want to load. I open the game and it just has the wood guys face and it doesnt change. I left mt phone running over night with this "game" open and it doesnt change from that screen. Not sure why its like this.

Love it. Hate the bug. Bug: i have lots of upgraded skills but when i connect to the internet in the game, all of it comes back to level 1, as if i've never played it. I can only play with my upgrades if im offline.

You should add economic parts of the game like troubles in the city,and you should different parts of the game like playing the other colors,and more wood kingdoms.and a gameplay of some of the woodland characters like a first person gameplay.

I get punished for wanting to try the units I obviously wont be able to afford through free play. After the purchase the AI has access to units stronger than mine and I get matched with ppl lvl 62 and Im lvl 13?!!!!! I mean I get it and I approve if it was just few levels higher to make up for the money adv. I have but 13 vs 62?!! are u for real?!

No need to spend cash, lots of levels and multiple difficulties. There is a strategy for every level and something will always work. Got as far as the last level atm and grinding experience to level skills up you'll need them. Big hint you'll need tower upgrades to get past mid game

So I've seen a few complaints about having to pay to win - you don't! So just to help those struggling I've played 20hrs I'm lvl 37 and haven't spent a penny. First thing you should do is invest in your units damage then survivability skills, then you'll probably want the resource skills, then progress onto the towers and upgrade and unit costs and then whatever you fancy thereafter. In terms of mechanics, simple rush tactics will suffice. Also when upgrading get the warriors first and then shooters. Enjoy

Game won't start up, first time I've had any problem with any game. Too bad.... Sounded like I would have liked the game. Fix it please

Hey guys nice game I beat lv 25 and still goin 25 was hard but im good at rts though I need more units thers a lot of levels not done on hard mode so thankyou zillion whales all of you this has been a fun ride one little like thing u should add a titan who summons thorned crushmores and throws bombs but costs a lot of nuts

Nearly the same problem again ladies and gentlemen. The app crashes, totally, locking my device in limbo until the battery dies. Love,love,love the game!!! Wish I could play it

dudes this game is awesome the music is totally your gonna face a real WAR! but the walks is really funny hahaahaha change that on the update 9/10 but the graphics the story and the music are totally COOL! keep up the goodwork guys!

Creative and well done graphics. Higher level play requires a Lot of patience. Some levels are very tedious taking 40min plus just to past first round. Done with this game.

Great game but I get strange overlapping screens on startup sometimes, like when I try to scroll the map or open upgrade screens, also I see 2 swinging buttons for more nuts when this happens. Also cannot get the free nuts to work with tapjoy

Really fun until all of a sudden the game becomes immensely difficult. Maybe I just need more play time, but man. Trying to beat the 2nd mission on normal mode or the 4th on easy. Lost both times. Kept up with the upgrades as well as I could. Can't beat any more missions. Close to uninstalling.

I may be wrong I'm only on lvl 10 but there should have been cut scenes to the game to add to the story all I know so far is the red kings village was attacked by the blues and I also have yet to see the greens step in because (hence the name "first wood war")I have a feeling they purposely led the red king and his armies away for the blue nation to attack but I do like it it takes a lot of effort and strategy (which I'm pro at) to beat each lvl even if you are on normal

Loving it so far. Seems like it will become very difficult. However I was asked to rate before I got to thoroughly test it. Will update stars later.

Played single player for a while, good game. However, I enjoy multiplayer and for my first game got matched against somebody a level lower than me (I was 8, he was 7). He had fully upgraded mage towers an titans. I had level 1 assassins. Supposedly you can't even get titans until level 35 or so. This experience really soured the game for me. I don't mind a challenge, but I don't like being seal clubbed.

A small downside is I have lost everything I paid for and all saved points when I had to reinstall the game after my phone crashed. appart from that fantastic game play and artisct design.

I love every aspect of this game. Wish there was a little more content to play with including PvP. But the main concern is that there's multiple reviews and reports. That the further you get into the game. The quicker you are forced to buying in game nuts in order to proceed. Honestly I think that we should buy by choice which people obviously do on there own. Make this one of a kind game universal so everyone can enjoy this genuine RTS. THANKS.

On valley of dreams, expert mode, the top castle gate starts out as an empty build slot, but i can't build there. I tap the green build icon and the gate selection menu comes up, but when i select the magic gate (with plenty of wood on hand), it just closes the menu, nothing more. no gate appears, no wood deducted. enemies still come through without difficulty, so its not just failing to display the gate image. This has been repeated over multiple tries per game, in multiple games across several reboots. Also, even with every advancement maxed, the elephant lagoon is still unbeatable, even on easy, locking out access to half the game. It's only halfway through, advancement should be trivializing anything this early long before running out of things to improve.

It's a tad glitchy every once in a while on the upgrade and skill screen but with some patience it fixes itself. Amazing quality, love the amount of game play, levels are difficult but with practice it's doable. Keep up the good work.

I absolutely love this game one of the finest I have played since my Skyrim days. Great gameplay, cool music, and an incredible upgrade system... Truly one of the best games on Android. Unfortunately the game quits working around stage 19.. I quit come back and I get the angry kings eyes I have had to install and delete three times now due to inability to load from the initial startup screen.. Please fix and I will shout this games name from my rooftop!!!

Great game! My only thing is I'd love to have factions to choose from that each get different perks. But for what it is I love it! Keep it up! Oh and to all complaining about the difficulty, that's one of the best things about it. Figure out the proper strategy and everything will work. It might take half an hour for one battle but it'll work. Trust me.

The game is a lot of fun, honestly. I had a great time on the first several levels. But soon enough, you realize your capabilities are growing linearly while the computer's capabilities grow exponentially. The only option for countering this is the use of your hard earned money. I work minimum wage so this game is not for me. Also most online players are hacked because they're level 9 and have 800+ wins. I'm level 8 and have 2 wins and 2 losses, to put that into perspective.

This game is crap in some of the maps it starts you off with no posible way to win without going back and replaying the other levels but you cant win at that eather because it only allows you go get nuts for winning one dam time

Games looks very well done and very unique, I would love to play it, but unfortunately it crashes on the initial loading screen, I have seen a few other comments with the same nature, might be something to look into fixing.
