The 7th Guest: Remastered

A little tricky to navigate with my tablet (mouse was easier back in thenday), but SO GLAD that I got to share this with my daughter! Still my favorite game, and y'all didna great job bringing it to the new medium. (Oh, and I still have the original--with the VHS tape!)

A horror type puzzle game set in a haunted mansion. Unlock puzzles to gain access to other rooms. Still fun to play...didn't complete it the first time so here I go again! They also did a second game...maybe this is on the cards too. WARNING! The game does take up a lot of memory (0.95 GB and 0.8 GB to save the game)! So an SD card is a necessity unless you don't play other games. Very nostalgic for me and graphics sometimes show their age but still enjoyable. If you like horror and puzzles...play at night!

I remember having this game on a Philips CD-i and thoroughly enjoyed it and managed to complete it. This version, but I found the graphics on the puzzle-solving very poor and very difficult to see some of either the lettering or icons. It didnt matter if I chose the original graphic settings or the ultra graphic settings, they all looked poor and difficult to see during the puzzle-solving - which isn't good considering this is the height of enjoyment. Perhaps time would of been better spent by adding a new improved puzzle-solving graphics for android, rather than the use of the original graphics. As for the everything else, I couldn't fault the 3D rendering graphics, the actors and more important the music and sound effects in this. Please look into this. Thank-you for reliving my twentysome years.

Fun but video and sound don't sync right. Sound finishes and video continues for 10-15 seconds. I was enjoying this game, but I feel I hit a wall as the movement around the house is difficult. Hey MojoTouch I'd love if you could give 11th hour the same treatment or other older horror games.

Glitch. Having issues with the coin flip game I keep getting it right but it resets. Ive checked a walkthrough and I'm doing it in correct sequence but keeps telling me it's wrong. Please fix otherwise the game has been good so far.

I would like to finish the game but it won't let me in the attic. I have solved all the puzzles and nothing. Deleted and installed again same issue. I just want to complete the game

I really wanted to like it because I had the old one years ago, but it keeps making me do the puzzles over and over, even within the same session. Uninstalled.

I can't get to any room.. all rooms are solved... no room to go. The grate puzzle says that is solved... but somehow I keep going there for no reason... everytime I (again) solve it I get the congratulation for solving it.

I really wanted to give a five star rating however im very dissapointed with all the bugs in this version. I have solved 5 puzzles saving my progress each time only to open the game again and having to start from the very beginning each time and doing each puzzle again which is very time consuming and im unable to progress to other levels. What's the point of paying for something that has glitches!

Sooooo glad I stumbled across this. I played this when I was younger and it is just like it was back then. Now someone just needs to do the same thing to the 11th hour, the sequel.

Nearly impossible to play on Droid Turbo. Puzzles either too small and unreadable, or unresponsive to tapping. Lots of flashing eyeballs and teeth! Spend a lot of time clicking with no response. This should be a free game since it hasn't been properly tested across devices and screen sizes.

Such nostalgia. Plays great, only problem I'm having is audio. The cut scenes don't sync up well and the music cuts out sometimes.

Loved this game as a kid. It was quite the nostalgia trip playing it again. It's a great puzzle game with a fun story line. I'm hoping to someday see the 11th Hour for mobile

I loved this game when it was out 20 years ago and absolutely love it now, the gameplay is brilliant and it runs better on my phone than it ever did on windows 95, the puzzles are properly challenging and the story is great, if you played original game you will love this and if your new to it download it and give it a go, you won't be disappointed :-) AMAZING GAME.

Played this on computer when it came out, 20 odd years ago. Loved it then, love it now. Hope you have the sequel, the 11th hour available

I love this game.Waited a long time for the android conversion and the wait was well worth it.The game is an absolute masterpiece.No problems whatsoever on my Nvidia Shield.

I've been playing this game since windows 95. The puzzles are fantastic. Doesn't lag no adverts. Just pure brilliant game play. Can't wait for the 13th doll

The graphics did not age well, at all. Whats meant to be scary comes across as extremely narmy. At a certain point, some puzzles become more of a chore than a game, in particular towards the end of the game where either the logic of puzzles aren't apparent (i.e. the floor puzzle) or the puzzles just take too long (i.e. block puzzle). A few puzzles in particular, the microscope "puzzle" (a player vs ai game where ai is at a difficulty youre computer is capable of, so on a mobile its basically impossible) and the piano puzzle (a 12 round simon says that starts you from the beginning if you miss) are especially problematic, as they are essentially rage games in whats otherwise a decent puzzle game. The only saving grace for these is that nearly all puzzles are essentially skippable, but that also somewhat defeats the purpose of having them to begin with. All in all, I'd say it shows its age, and would probably do better as a full on remake. Otherwise, not really worth the price tag for anything but a bit of nostalgia.

Not a bad remake. Played the original when it first came out on the PC. The remake is dead on to the original from the cut scenes to the puzzles.

I've never been so disappointed in a game.I'd like my money back.

This was one of my favourite games years ago and i was enjoying it but tbe bishop game keeps freezing and no more rooms are open so stuck.

I remember this game back when I had a CDi, it was fun then and is still fun. I really like this game and runs good on my tablet.

This is a great port over from the pc version I loved as a kid. Never imagined I would play it again l, and on a phone! Runs smoothly!

Have looked for it for years as a retro game!!! Found it accidentally on the play store and loved it. It is close to original game with just a few minor differences. Highly recommend it and even though I don't rate much 5 stars, this would get a perfect ten from me if the rating system went that high.

If you loved the game back in the 90s as much as I did, you won't be disappointed. It plays really well on a mobile, and probably runs smoother than it did back in the day. And for anyone who didn't get a chance to play it before, get downloading! Roaming around an abandoned 3D mansion, solving puzzles and unlocking rooms - what's not to love? ;-)

Really enjoyed playing this till i hit the card puzzle. Spent an hour tearing my hair out cause i couldn't think how to solve. Finally gave in and checked a walk through only to realise i was right thw whole time but game just won't accept my answer. Either restarts puzzle or just stops dead. So can't finish the game. Infuriating!

There are glitches in the game, but finally got to a second puzzle.. had the original CD Rom game and Loved it! PLEASE fix so we can play such an awesome game!

Like a fine wine of 20 years ago. I used to play this on a Packard Bell 386sx with Windows 98SE about 16 years ago. Glad to see it on Android. This has to be the greatest game ever.

Loved this game then, still love it now. But this port is so buggy!

One of my all-time favorites always always was addicted to this game. My husband and I would spend hours upon hours playing it and well here we go again

I've bought this game so may times I've lost count but I love every version I've gotten I can't get enough of Staufs creep mansion.

Should be offered as a two-parter. Still haven't been able to play this great game.

Touch interface very uncomfortable. Some puzzles impossible to finish because the cursor is not where you expected.

Loved this game when it originally came out. So glad I get to play it again! Thank you!

I have the original game on CD Rom in its original jewel case and I love the game
