LUMINES PUZZLE & MUSIC

The game is fantastic. It brings back memories of the Sony PSP days. That being said, the controls need A LOT of work. They are not precise at all and I find myself making too many unwanted moves. If this is fixed, I will happily give it 5 stars

The addiction is back! Hundreds of skins and a few new mechanics makes this the greatest waste of time I've had the pleasure of playing on a phone. For 3 bucks you're getting a game that used to be 20-35 dollars "back in the day". Don't let the controls scare you! Once you get into the flow, your complaints will just conclude in an upgrade in hardware rather than a complaint on this beautiful classic.

I almost died when I saw this come to Android at last! It's almost perfect. Unfortunately touch controls just doesn't work well with this game. When I try to flick the square down, it often registers as a rotate. It's so damn annoying! I used to play this so fast on the PSP. Just can't do it on this platform. Not on the Galaxy S7 at least anyways. I'll keep persevering though.

Great lumines game that has been adapted to a touch interface. Once you get used to the rotate, movement, and drop its quite fun!

To hard to unlock all content, please give us another option to play all the songs, other than that it's a great game.

Never got to play it... game won't download after installing. Highest percentage I got to was 83%. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and lost my refund. Real down about it. I love Lumines. Please fix.

Why does a game like this need permissions to make and receive phone calls???

OK but would play better in landscape mode rather than forced portrait. EDIT: trying to install on my new phone. Has to download assets once initially installed, and it's taken me several attempts and still not there. God knows what size the download is, must be huge. If android kills it off during download it starts again!!!

Lumines faithfully ported to android. Almost lerfect except for the touch controls. At the higher levels having the game misread a rotate instead of a move is death. Also the dlc is a bit much for a game i purchases. 2.99 each pack would be more reasonable.

This game is my life of music, can't stop playing this awesome game because the graphics, music, avatars, and gameplay are so cool and, the best game I love for years after I played this game in 2005, lumines puzzle and music, is my favorite of all but the purchasing is annoying, but still cool!

Will not install associated data files so never actually starts up. Many errors pop up during this process. Very unprofessional.

Hey. You know what the first game had? Multiplayer. I want that battle mode in here, would make this game S O L I D.

Would be better if you.can play offline. Wanted to play on a plane ride and it wouldn't start without a data connection.

Perfect mobile version of the classic. I didn't think I would like the touch controls, but after a few days you will find them no problem. Please keep adding more Skins !

When buying the new in game DLC, it continues to be locked and I can't play it. I've rebooted, cleared app data and reinstalled the app. Google has refunded me immediately for the in app purchase. I'll up the star rating when you fix this issue. The game also wastes your data by having OTA updates whether wi-fi or not. If you start an update by accident you can't play offline unless you finish it.

Laggy performance. Not a full Matrix like in titles seen on other consoles. Why the heck can I only spin blocks in one direction? Why can't it be: touch right of screen = clockwise spin, touch left of screen = counter-clockwise spin? Tetris on Android manages to pull this off. Why can't Lumines? Pretty disappointed. This is not the Lumines I know and love.

Come on, this is ridiculous. We get a very bare bones game for pay and then we get new over priced skins. This is a ripoff, I'm disappointed.

New update fixed all issues for me with blocks not spinning when I click them. Finally, now I can play normally. Thanks!

Game downloads data whenever it starts up, useless for playing when you're away from net connectivity.

Great game but geez does this game need controller support. I can clear all the difficulties, but once the blocks start falling faster in single skin mode game over thanks to the touch gimmick. Also since the rez update the touch controls are even LESS unresponsive. Plus some sounds and music effects just cut off for some reason. Hopefully in the next update it gets fixed.

The only reason this game has a score below 4.0 is because a lot of morons cant be bothered to activate the DLC in settings and post low scores here when they cant access it. Idiots! Also another group of morons have lemons for phones and complain that the game is buggy. Set your graphics to low you peasants! Stop downvoting this amazing game! Kevin Chiang and Johnny Mercier are dumb, dont pay attention to their reviews.

Game freezes up at the main menu. Does not respond to touches, missing assets on the UI. Unplayable - will be requesting a refund for this trash.

Love it but... The songs are no where near as good as the vita version and the dlc should be half the price it is at least ! Please make compatible with nvidia shield tv

While it does have crashes, re downloading the game data fixed it. It's pretty good game, even though there is in-game transactions. Suggesting they can drop those prices by at least two dollars.

Buy the DLC and then go to the settings > select support > select restore purchases - DLC will then work. Really, really good DLC, especially the REZ pack if you are a fan!

Bought Rez DLC on 11/20 because I received notification from the app that DLC was available and it let me buy but content stayed locked. I tried again today (11/21) same thing. Google Play refunded me but I wanted this DLC. Buyer beware! DLC doesn't work but you'll get charged for it when you buy it!

Good game, but HOLY CRAP ADD CONTROLLER SUPPORT. You can have so much responsiveness from a touchscreen but its near impossible to line up combos when you need to tap the screen to flip the piece. The lining up of combos was the essence of the original Lumines on PSP and it should translate to mobile in the same way. Add support for USB and Bluetooth controls and this app is totally 5 stars. I also kinda don't like that the music is low quality...like 64kbps MP3 quality.

I have been playing LUMINES since the game was released on PSP. I am thrilled Shinin' is back and I really enjoy the downloadable content (particularly so far the Rez content!) For customers frustrated with the content not working, all you have to do is go to options (the gear icon), press support (the question mark icon) and press Restore. After a few minutes, you should be able to play the Rez content if you purchased it and were unable to access this. I hope many more downloadable content packs are released, especially more from Mondo Grosso. Would be interesting to see however if Child of Eden's soundtrack will be next. Some multiplayer online options would be great. This was done on Xbox LIVE's Lumines game, though it wasn't so effective. Also, I miss some of the original Lumines avatars and hope they will be released in the future. Nevertheless, phenomenal game and so great to see Lumines back!

controls arent perfect. But shouldn't expect much from a touch interface. However, biggest cons are that there is no Google Play Games integration and the game has to download files after initial download. Feels like a 2012 Android game. Not taking advantage of Google's services. Might have been designed for iOS first and then poorly ported over. Also a battery hog.

I love this game on the PSP and Vita. The pace of the songs worked well on there as you could make more finite moves with a dpad or stick. On here, they ported the visuals and music, but left the need for finite control on a touch screen that is either all or nothing. Pieces don't flip when you want them to, flip when you want to drop, or won't slide over to get that one extra piece in. Great game, bad with touch screen.

Fantastic game, the update helped a lot, and fixed the game breaking bugs...... ...but the fact that you want me to pay again, and more then the cost of the whole game for more songs is, frankly, egregious. I will not buy any of the add-ins. If you wants more money ask for it up front. I cannot get a refund so ill just not buy any more packs, I cant support this stance on gaming.

I really do. It's probably the best puzzle game since Tetris. This version takes a bit to get used to with the touch interface, but once I got the hang of it, it's great. There's some stability issues and I have trouble installing new packs. I hope they fix this with future updates.

New age Tetris/Doctor Mario on musical steroids.9/8/16. Now they want us to pay more money than the base game for some DLC. The number of songs released for the price they are asking compared to what was paid for in the original game is a joke. I can no longer support such a game or company.

I played this game as a time killer for years on my PS3, and now on my phone, it's good for a quick break, similar to Tetris in that sense. Only down side is that the controls can get clunky on the higher difficulty.

Good game, and the controls are playable, but not enjoyable. Forces you to intentionally slow your play down significantly to not miss block spins or place blocks in the wrong place. PLEASE ADD CONTROLLER SUPPORT.

The feel of the game on touch screen is not very precise. They've remedied it in the new patch a little bit. But the worst thing is having to buy the dlc at such a price. I guess the game is now going to be just a shop for those song packs, I'm sticking to the base game. Gave it a 5,now lowered it to 2!!
