About DiceTray Pro

DiceTray is a simple drag-n-drop die rolling system useful for dice games (like Risk), D20 games, Savage Worlds and Hackmaster (WoD and Fudge/Fate are coming).
Rather than remember formulas or use clunky interfaces, drag any number of dice onto a tray, then tap the tray to roll them. It's as easy as that!

Interface
- Drag a dice onto a tray. Dropping one off a tray deletes it.
- Tap the tray to roll the dice. Tap a band to roll only the dice in the band.
- Press the '+' to change the rolling scheme and and adds.
- Press the speaker to mute/unmute rolling
- Press the Disk icon to save the tray. All bands and dice methods are saved.
- Select a saved tray from the dropdown combo.

One unique feature is the 'bands' concept. Drop dice onto a band and roll just the ones in that band. This is useful for a game where a character has a standard die roll attack and weapons with different damage dice. You can save ALL the setups under one tray name.

If you have more than one tray (on larger screens and tablets), you can move dice between them. Multitouch is also supported.

SD Card use:
An mmp/dicetray folder is created containing the saved trays. No other actions are done on the card.

This is the kind of die roller I have always wanted to bring to the gaming table. I use it on my XOOM at my friendly local game store all the time and I am constantly improving it. I hope you find it as useful as I have.

Scaling issues on newer devices. Developer previously claimed they "constantly improve it" in the description, but has since removed that claim because they haven't done so in nearly six years.

by T####:

Great on tablets but on phone's (note 3) the roll screens are still really small- they don't stretch to the screen size.

K70%

On the note 3 the roll screens are really small.

I got this app for use in my HM game, but there is no option to set the dice to penetrate. The free version doesn't have it either. Please fix this.

Awesome app!

D70%
by D####:

This is the perfect app. I forgot my dice and this worked perfectly for my Smallvillle game!

B70%
by B####:

Innovative and useful. I might give up on bringing anything but my tablet to games now. Thanks!

S70%
by S####:

On the Galaxy 3, the screen is all wierd. It hss the two roll screens but they are really small and in the bottom right corner. But the app is awesome, it's the only for roller I use.

G70%
by G####:

I paid for this app and have been very disapointed. It cannot be resized for a large screen, there is no options menu. Had such potential. Don't waste your money. What a waste.

S70%
by S####:

This app is just what I need for Marvel Heroic Roleplaying. I can even use it to track the Doom Pool. Thanks!

Otherwise decent, but behaves oddly on my nexus 4, a lot of empty and wasted space. Developer says they "constantly improve it" in the description above, but hasn't done so in over 24 months. Still, if you need dice for an entire army at once, use this.

Unfortunately, almost unusable on my Nexus 7 (2nd gen) The screen is extremely small, drop downs needs many attempts to get right, 75 screen real-estate easted If you can use it, it's good... If...

Been looking for a decent dice rolling app for savage worlds. Adding the exploding rolls and the ignore lowest just makes it better.
