Options from the main menu allows you to choose what color your driver, approach, and putter are. Go out to the range to start throwing some discs. Look upwards (click and drag!) towards the treetops to get maximum distance. Here's the best part: you control the disc once it is in the air, just tilt your phone left, right, up, or down, and the disc will follow! But tilt effect is weak when you are a beginner, and gets stronger once you throw more discs. Career Info from the Options menu will show you these statistics.
While playing, click the text on the top right of the screen to change your currently selected disc from a driver to an approach or putter. On the course, the best disc is automatically selected based on the distance to the hole.
You can also choose between 4 shot types by clicking the icon in the bottom right area of the screen. The current shot selection is displayed there. These will allow you to curve the disc and get around trees. The higher angle you shoot at, the more your disc will curve in the air, since it will be up there for more time.
If you want to walk around, just click Cancel to exit throw mode and go into free movement mode. The controls there are move, look, and jump: similar to dual-joystick shooter controls. Watch out for the evil red box on the left side of the practice range!
The Lite version is limited to 9 holes. There is a full version available with no ads and 18 holes, check it out please!!!

1.02 - Reverted to some old methods for the game engine that might fix performance issues some people are having.
1.01 - I made changes to the textures and the game engine. But not too many changes to the actual gameplay, accelerometer was smoothed out a bit. Game should load much quicker and take up less video memory (for older phones!), also game should run smoother and graphics look better in the distance.
Let me know if any of these changes have a negative affect on anyone's mojo.

Your player starts at the bottom and you must throw 1000 discs before he is good again! Just don't uninstall the game or you will lose your records.

I enjoyed this game until Verizon updated my phone. The distance to the basket doesn't show on the screen. The physics of the disc are screwed up. Also the score can't be seen on the card. This game is unplayable now. Please fix it. Razr HD Maxx.

Like playing as a beginner in a municipal park. Disc flies short distance. No fairway and rough. No bush hazards. Very little disc control. Off to a good start as a free app though. Hopefully the developers play some actual games and go back to developing this game. Overall still worth downloading

I played this game before and it was not bad, now, you can't read anything on the pause menu, the score doesn't show up, they say the new course is available but isn't, and I won't be downloading this app again. Absolutely terrible.

I think some tilt would be cool to check out disc golf unchained and go from there it has potential but its not accurate I can throw one 300+ feet in real life with a slightly elevated tee box.

Since the last update it is almost impossible to ace without the disc bouncing off the basket. Wind doesn't affect drive distances.

Update: I've played the game several more times since the update. The changes to how the disc goes into the basket are annoying. Hard to tell if you have the disc high enough to go in. The wind affects putts way more than it does in real life. It would take more than a 8 mph wind to blow a 10' putt off course. You can just be close to a tree, and the disc gets knocked down. Would like a more realistic chain sound when the disc goes in the chains.

I-phone store has it but not us droid fans. Ive played it and it utilizes using a real DG basket like I have. Its point based. Basically you throw at 6 different spots in a straight line (15', 20', 25', 30', 35', 40'on up), with each spot you throw 6 discs. The game as little boxes so if you make one or miss it you check it off. If you make all 36 the points total 1025!! Its sooo dope! We need it! You can even have multiple friends play on the same phone, keep track of stats, email stats...etc. like!

Not great but definitely not bad, especially for a free game. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it to everybody but it's worth keeping. The fairways could definitely be more diverse, i.e. elevation change, water hazards, etc..

Best game on google play market for disc golf! However, real courses have different terrain elevation, maybe try and incorporate that into the game later on.

Like the real thing one course kinda of a drag after awhile. Not trying to take anything away from the game play its coo but like my four year old says "I'm bored"
