Disc golf on Android! Simple yet addictive gameplay. This is the full version, which has a practice range and an 18-hole course to play. You can also just play the front or back 9 if you want. Second course "Goonch Canyon" coming soon!
Options from the main menu allows you to choose what color your driver, approach, and putter are. Go out to the range to start throwing some discs. Look upwards (click and drag!) towards the treetops to get maximum distance. Here's the best part: you control the disc once it is in the air, just tilt your phone left, right, up, or down, and the disc will follow! But tilt effect is weak when you are a beginner, and gets stronger once you throw more discs. Career Info from the Options menu will show you these statistics.
While playing, click the text on the top right of the screen to change your currently selected disc from a driver to an approach or putter. On the course, the best disc is automatically selected based on the distance to the hole.
You can also choose between 4 shot types by clicking the icon in the bottom right area of the screen. The current shot selection is displayed there. These will allow you to curve the disc and get around trees. The higher angle you shoot at, the more your disc will curve in the air, since it will be up there for more time.
If you want to walk around, just click Cancel to exit throw mode and go into free movement mode. The controls there are move, look, and jump: similar to dual-joystick shooter controls. Watch out for the evil red box on the left side of the practice range!

Old updates:
1.02 - Reverted to some old methods for the game engine that might fix performance issues some people are having.
1.01 - I made changes to the textures and the game engine. But not too many changes to the actual gameplay, accelerometer was smoothed out a bit. Game should load much quicker and take up less video memory (for older phones!), also game should run smoother and graphics look better in the distance.
Let me know if any of these changes have a negative affect on anyone's mojo.

0.2 - Lots of cool new features. Tweaked the disc physics a bit (slowed it down) but the disc still goes just as far basically. Every shot now, the disc will bounce once when it lands. Try skipping it in the basket. Ambient forest sounds (you can turn volume on this up or down from pressing menu). Show scorecard between holes. Career progression! Your player starts at the bottom and you must throw 1000 discs before he is good again! Just don't uninstall the game or you will lose your records.

I have had this app on my phone almost two years now. It is very fun if you like disc golf. With that being said they are taking entirely to long to develop the other courses.

Got this game when it was the only disc golf out there. It was good back then, but there's been no updates in over 2 years, no changes and no support. The new course has been "coming soon"for the past 3 years. Don't waste your time with this. If you really want to play it, play the lite version. You'll only waste your money with this one.

I can drive a real disc 300ft+, why can't I in this game? Also, trees shouldn't always stop your disc...like only half the time. Also, tree trunks don't stop the disc. Otherwise, well worth the money XD

The course became monotonous & boring. The Goonch Canyon course has been "coming soon" for over a year now. This app feels like it was abandoned by it's creator. I unistalled it. It hasn't had any updates to upgrade game play, disc options, hole options, courses etc...in nearly a year. In the same time the ATR disc golf app has gone from one practice hole, to adding 3 full courses, and each course has short, reg. & long tee options, gameplay and graphic updates and its continually updated better each time.

This used to be my favorite game. Now for some reason it no longer keeps score on your card. And the direction gage and level gage and the power gage just disappeared. I'm super disappointed i paid for this app. It hasn't worked properly for about a year now. Get it together guys . it feels like your screwing us faithful players.

(1/3/14) This game is a lot of fun to me. The course looks really great. I want to play on it in real life. I'm starting to develop some technique. With some practice you can shoot around a pesky tree. -- (8/9/14) Just played a round. This game holds up. It's fun. At this point though I think we can forget about that new "coming soon" course. Oh well, the original course is decent.

This is one of the most accurate disc golf games I've ever played and the full version is a whole lot smoother which is great and plus it has normal looking courses its like playing in real life can't wait for the other course. People that love to disc get this game .

New update with wind added is sweet. It is so much more challenging with wind set to breezy in the options menu. Also, i cant believe how just adding shadows made the course look that much better but it did. Cant wait for the new course! Update: where in the hell is the new course that was "coming soon"?
