MLB.com Franchise MVP for Android
All that needs to be fixed is energy use it decreases too fast. Repair cost needs to be a little less, perhaps by 20%. Hitting in MLB needs to be harder my stats for my first full season are impossible in baseball today. I hit around .750 with 161 HR and 330 RBIs lol. it'd be great to adjust the angle to behind home plate because the way it is now i cant tell what will be a ball and what will be a strike. the pitches need to be slowed a bit, by the time the pitch hits the catchers glove im already swinging
First of all, the logic behind the game makes no sense. Triple plays do not happen every game. Secondly, you should be able to bat each time instead of having the game do it for you. I have played a lot of mobile baseball games and this is by far the worst
I almost didn't download it bc of reviews but I'm glad I did. Graphics are good - it's not tough to hit but not easy either - you level up from 1a to 3a to mlb and it's relatively challenging but still doable and it's fun. I recommend getting it ratings don't always do justice to an app.
I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I should have listened to the bad reviews! This game is a joke! I see what MLB is trying to do by making it as if you were a minor leaguer working your way up and the difficulty and grind that it is but that does not translate to a game too well! No matter how I swung it was an out! 1 hit in 80 at bats! That is not fun! And throwing is a joke! Game sucks and sucks all fun out of trying! Wasted money on upgrades! Booooooo! This game is BENCHED!
You can hit more than one hit but it will say your stats are whatever it wants. That's kinda sucky. Otherwise decent game. Plus would like to be able to play defense as well.
Only criticism I have, is that there could be an active practice tutorial. It took me awhile to learn how to hit, and play defense. Perhaps I didn't pay enough attention to the short tutorial pop-ups. I also wish there was a way to review the short tutorial pop-ups. Once you click "OK" at bottom of pop-up, they're gone forever...
It is a fun game. My only complaints would be that you get almost no help from teammates, and that you can't have two careers going. It would be nice to be able to play as a pitcher or batter at any time, instead of losing your career to start a new one.
The concept of the game is fun and addicting. It takes a little too much time to progress in my opinion. Also the game seems to randomly crash from time to time. Would really like to see more Play Games integration in the future.
I was up to bat with a runner on third and I hit the ball and get thrown out at second so that means it is a single and the run should have scored but instead on got nothing. kind of stupid. would have gave this game 4 stars atleast.
Not happy. Its one of those games where I reached a point in it that I can't continue unless I spend alot of money. :-( I was really liking it up to that point. They need to make it so that if you leave the game for a while, say like 24 hours, your energy builds back up without having to buy anything.
Game is good. Takes a bit to get the hang of it. Can be difficult at times. Seems to have issues loading after 2 seasons. Had to restart the game about 3 times because it wont load so that gets annoying otherwise its lots of fun.
Fun game. The problem is you'll make MVP. The last season I played (my 14th) I batted around .715, 120 homers, 225 doubles and much more. Nothing. Won the World Series multiple times. I would have given a higher rating, but now the app won't log in. Now I have a lot of time on my hands.
If you are playing on a smartphone it is impossible to hit something other than a pop fly or weak contact. The only reason I give it three stars is because if you are a pitcher in the AL where you don't have to hit it is okay
The game is a somewhat fun concept. But it is pretty stupid when you have your effort level at 2 and it goes multiple at-bats or even games without letting you control the hitting situation. Also the statistics vs ratings your player gets after a game are unrealistic. Make a better product before you put out the game!
Here's what I like: cool interface, good ways to build your player, and in game is pretty simple. What I don't like: you can't choose to be left handed which sucks, you can't practice hitting at all, and during in game half your at bats or fielding opportunities are simulated. This needs to update
My career stats get reset to zero every off season. Why??? ......as for the complaints about it being hard or needing purchases, not true. It's easy once you master the swing. I never bought a single thing and my guy Homers at will. I even let all my equipment degrade to nothing. Start at bottom corner (left or right) and sweep with your thumb towards opposite upper corner.
Pretty cool idea but wow does the hitting suck.. you have to swipe so fast that my thumb started to burn.. and for the people who get skipped you have to turn your effort up to 3 bars to do every single play only thing is your energy gets drained really fast
Would be a good game, but the whole energy thing is just a way for them to charge money for a free game. Plus, it's simulating through the whole game and I don't even get to play my at bats. Got potential, but another MLB money grab game...
Decent game but want more freedom in at bats. there should be a setting as to how many simulated at bats you want. I often find myself only doing 1 actual at bat out of 6 or 7 and usually during pointless situations in the games
Poor game play. Controls are swipe with seemingly little connection to what happens. Ratings are head scratchers. Throw a one run complete game? Rating: bench warmer. Etc.
Third season in I hit .498 with 62 home runs and 120 RBI. Not an MVP season? Next season hit .648 with 126 home runs and 212 RBI. Still no MVP. Most unrealistic game ever.
It's a very fun game and I would get it even though it is kinda hard to get to MLB but as of Right now I'm on AA for the Cubs and it took me kinda long to get there but it's fun, download it and give it a try and aye, update the game please and make it less hard
I almost didn't download it bc of reviews but I'm glad I did. Graphics are good - it's not tough to hit but not easy either - you level up from 1a to 3a to mlb and it's relatively challenging but still doable and it's fun. I recommend getting it ratings don't always do justice to an app.
You Can Never Get AnyThing But Bad Contact On A Smart Phone...Which Makes It Impossible To Play And Progress In The Game!!
They need to fix the amount of energy used in a game or better just git rid of that option. And need need to fix how you throw out a runner I have more errors than put ours due to my finger moving as I'm releasing the ball could just have a joy stick set up instead. Batting gets a little harder each level which is ok but need a little tweak on that made it to AAA and no matter how fast I swipe my finger everything is a weak hit.
Energy got way low and didn't have the coins to buy energy drink to replenish. Energy doesn't replenish over time without buying energy drink and I am not going to shell out real cash for that! Terrible. Uninstalling now.
This game is AWESOME don't listen to the bad reviews. This game is great for a road trip if you need something to do, and, the graphics are fine and the game play is pretty good. Keep up the good work guys!
I have now had this game for a few weeks and I actually really enjoy it. Three separate times now I have created a player, worked my way through the minors, built up the player's stats and abilities only to have the app begin to malfunction and stop working. What's worse is that I have contacted the developer multiple times and have been ignored. I've spent money on this game and I want a refund and some answers.
I really just wanted to kill time. Once you get used to the hitting and can improve your equipment (for free of course ) it's very easy. My team won like 143 games last season including playoffs and I hit about .600 with 200 homers. Definitely room for in improvement in the app though.
First I almost didn't download cause of reviews. But when I downloaded I was happy reminds me of new star soccer. My biggest complaint tho is the ratings, no more how much u improve them they drop down 10 pts every so often and I am only in year 2. How is that possible if there ate no injuries? Makes using the coins to level up useless. Glad I Didn't spend money cause would have felt scammed. Cause prospects don't usually lose skill that quickly in there younger years. Needs to be realistic.
Guy on 2nd, hit double, no rbi. Went 3 for 4 with 2 SO's? Takes forever to earn anything. Bought batting gloves but my guy bats glove less. Spend money every game on repairs to equipment. 1 good game, skill goes up a little. 1 bad game, skill goes down a lot. Poor...poor game
Game action isn't realistic. Runners never score from first when you hit a double. Triple plays when there were runners on first and third. If you aren't actively controlling your player, he hits about .100. Game says it gives you two MLBBucks for player of the game but it only gives you one. If you aren't going at full effort it ships most of your at bats and you strike out a lot. If you do go full effort you can only play about once every other day without buying perks.
I like the idea of this game, but the game itself is not good. Not nearly enough control over what your own player does. If I pitch a game where 9/10 pitches I throw are labelled "great" then I should not give up 6 runs and be considered "overmatched" for the game.
The Ai is impossible to beat. I have yet to hit past the infield. This game is as bad as the 9 innings games. Update: Wow the game only let's you hit once every other game. That's a new one kids. Let us hit more or your fake game is going to be hurting for people. Lmao what a joke of an app. Always late swing or early swing. Starting my second season and now I'm ALWAYS striking out. Even the AI that control my play 90% of the time strikes out. Good set up but terrible ai.
Would be really fun if it didn't tell me "weak contact" every single time I go to bat. I have never had a good contact even though I spent a ton of time on the game. Uninstalling.
This turned out to be an awesome game. I can't stop playing. Has micro management situations and get some fielding plays as well. I think it would increase the level of fun if the create a player start was more in depth. Such as left or right handed, different faces to choose from, player number, etc. Overall great game.
At first you can't get a hit at all and why can't you bat every at bat also I batted 46 home runs a 6.70 batting average and 77 RBI and No MVP
I like the game, you can choose your favorite MLB team and can play with it, but you get very less chances to play, and you can't do anything, and expect playing only with myself, I want to play the whole game with every player and please make the batting easy, because whenever I hit, it shows me 'Weak Contact'. Please fix this problems and I will give ya 5 stars!!!
Never seen so many 20+ inning games! Just about every game goes into extra innings which uses more energy and causes more wear on equipment which cost more "coins" to replenish and repair. Routine situations produce unrealistic results. Your player does NOT get credit for all production which could in turn be considered theft of your hard earned real money. Still waiting for a developer to produce a baseball game that has actually seen a real baseball... Uninstalled

Game is simple and fun, until all your hard work turns out to be for nothing. My team was in first place by over 20 games and the highest winning team in the league, but at the end of the regular season, the game tells me I was eliminated because we didn't win enough games in the regular season. Not worth putting all the work into building your team and player just to have that be for nothing. Fun for short bursts, but I have uninstalled and will NOT get this again.
