About Mill
Mill is a strategy board game also known as Nine Men's Morris.
The game is played on a board with 24 fields where game pieces may be placed. Fields are connected with lines. Initially the board is empty and each of the two players hold nine pieces.
During the opening, players alternately place their pieces on any vacant field. After all pieces have been placed, player may place one of his pieces to an adjacent vacant field. If at any time during the game a player succeeds in arranging three of his pieces in a row (closing a mill), he may remove any opponent’s piece that is not part of a mill. In case all opponent’s pieces are in mills, player can remove any piece. As soon as a player has only three pieces left, there is a new rule for moving pieces. The player with three pieces may jump one of his pieces to any vacant field on the board.
The game ends in one of the following ways:
- A player who has less than three pieces loses.
- A player who cannot make a legal move loses.
- A game is Draw if same position occurs three times in a game.
You can choose three levels for strength of AI Player.
