Mahjong and Friends Japan is a Japanese Riichi Mahjong(麻雀/麻將/麻将) game based on the Riichi Competition Rules(RCR). The game features all Mahjong Hands defined in the rules.
MJ&F supports multiplayer through either Bluetooth(*1) or TCP(Intranet/Internet/Wifi/Hotspot(*2)), 2-player is supported in Free version.
*1) Bluetooth game requires Android 2.1+.
*2) Hosting a "Hotspot" game requires Android 2.2+.
MJ&F supports in-game auto save. So that you don't have to worry about losing your game state on a transportation rush.
What's more, it features a record logging system that records all of the Mahjong Hands you achieved during your day-to-day game-play.
Want others know you've won with a "Big Four Winds" Mahjong Hand? No problem! You can always use the Capture feature to take result screenshot and save it to the SD storage, or use the Share feature to submit the screenshot to your favorite social network.

It's great for anyone that likes this rule set like I do, however I do seem to be encountering a very annoying bug that sometimes causes the game to not recognize that someone dealt my winning tile for example I was ready with a concealed rechii all simples three color strait waiting for a five min or two pin well the next player dealt the five pin but instead of allowing me to win it allowed another AI to pung it

As a beginner, I appreciate the help built into the app. The English translation could use some polish, but is understandable. I attribute occasional problems to my lack of knowledge. Not the prettiest UI, but not ugly. All the necessary indicators, with help available at all times. Clumsy social and achievement implementation, which can be ignored.

overall good, some bugs though... Closed kans/kongs don't count as triplets for the three/four concealed pungs yaku. you can also score last tile draw and out with replacement tile on the same hand. you can score all chows on any multi wait, not just a two sided one. also, the ura dora correctly score, but incorrectly aren't shown if you win with riichi and a concealed kan/kong. lastly, the ura dora incorrectly show, but correctly don't score if you win on a concealed hand without calling riichi.
