This app crashes before you can load anything. It works so much better on the website. Just go there. Worth it.

Constantly crashes and kicks me off. Freezes up and won't let you answer. Time limit is too short and the words jump around, making it difficult to read the question.

I have tried playing on cellular connection and WiFi and have never had the opportunity to play a single question

I can't do anything. The connection is bad. Help?

Not as good as the website. But sufficient for on the go practice.

The app is perfect for keeping up with trivia if you are frequently up and about and don't have time for reading or board games. Question selection is broad and challenging. Some mechanics issues could use improvement however. Being able to select a combination of playable categories rather than just 1 as well as refining the ui for mobile to make it easier to buzz (and without delays).

problems are not fixed. won't let me buzz in sometimes. says I buzzed in late when I have 2 seconds left. gives other players a different question even when in the same room. people giving this a 5 star rating haven't had this happen to them yet, so just wait. update: it's worse than before. suck it George

Used it to study for quick recall, I improved so much that I became a starter on our team. Its acting up for me a bit right now, but hopefully this will be resolved soon.

It is kind of hit or miss with whether or not the app runs. After that, you get to the questions, which are kind of laggy. Moreover, the questions are from like 4 or more years, so the current event questions are kind of outdated. However, the online version of this app made me decent at quizbowl so its pretty good,

My old Quiz Bowl team uses Protobowl to stay sharp and keep in touch. Its perfect for anyone that got used to socializing with a buzzer in their hand! Though the corrections they've made to accommodate spelling errors and auto-correct fails are effective, they can be a bit too forgiving when dealing with names, titles etc...

It was 5 stars, but it is now two because whenever I log on and it connects and I swipe to go to a question, it doesn't show a question, just "Connected!" I go to other rooms and it does the same thing. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but it was the same thing! PLEASE FIX!!!!!

This is a great practice app to use while preparing for Acedemic Team/Quiz Bowl matches.

Good app, but missing functionalities. You can't make a custom room, or at least a room where you can change difficulty and subject area. You also can't get to public rooms from the left most page. The list is always blank

Upon hours and hours of practice, school is now regional champions . Get this app if your serious about winning

Works great but needs more questions as well as the need to sort out a few bugs while answering questions/buzzing/typing

So many things are wrong with this app. Buzzing hardly works, and the room settings never actually change the type of question you get. Additionally, I haven't been able to join a public room for months. Please fix this soon.

I've used this app for months, but suddenly it stopped work. It just says 'connected' and doesn't show any questions. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and nothing fixes the problem.

The Apple version works with same WiFi, but Android just keeps saying "connecting". Please fix.

my friends and I played it often and had a blast, and now it doesn't work at all. It'd be nice if that got fixed or something.

The questions get repetitive and everyone knows the answer immediately, but it's still a great app overall.

If you like quizbowl then use this app or be content with 2nd.

Amazing app you have got there. Despite the inaccuracies of mobile typing, your app has made it much more bearable and very lenient. One little thing though, I was playing with friends and a computer science question kept on popping up. Tweak the algorithm a bit and you my friend have a solid app!

Hey minibit, I would like to rate this higher, because I really like using this tool on desktop, but the app doesn't work. I'm not sure if you guys still work on this or not, but if you do, could you please fix this issue. Thanks!

It's missing a lot of the features of the desktop version, and changing room settings has straight up never worked for me or my friends. Being unable to set categories and difficulty makes the mobile app nearly useless.

The app is perfect for practicing for quiz bowl matches. The interface does feel a bit dated and not at all intuitive, however. There are also some questions that are just errors. Also, the app can also be too forgiving in accepting answers, to the point of accepting completely different and irrelevant words at times.

I love this app. Or, at least, I did love it. I spent a long time playing, but for some reason now when I try to play the game just says "Connected!". I cannot play questions, even if I switch rooms or reinstall the game. Switching networks has no effect neither. Please fix this bug because I loved this app and want to give it 5 stars.

Protobowl has an endless amount of content and questions that will help out any quiz bowl player get ready for the big tournament!

Great for practicing! Every time there's a question I don't know, I look it up.

Can't skip questions, to my knowledge. Setting categories and difficulty does not work. I love the desktop site. I just wish this app worked half as well.
