Haegemonia - Legions of Iron for Android
The reviews are what kept me from getting this a for long time, but I'm blown away, it's the best Sci fi Sim out there, I've yet to experience a crash on my galaxy note 4, also the controls are great just have to learn them from the help tab, I use a combination of s pen and touch, maybe the issues people are experiencing are device related? Works great with settings all on high, couldn't ask for a better port in my opinion.
Just need to completely convert it from PC to android game. Good job with setting everything else up though. I'm stuck, can't progress further without better controls. Nothing hint to building on planet, mining vessel does not leave or simply don't know how to move it to new asteroid. Struggled for hours to try to research, no idea how.
the game crashes around episode 5. please fix these guys. otherwise, this game would be a waste of money. it has a great potential. dont let us down.
Like nearly everyone else talking about the camera control....it would have been far better to make it tap and hold with a single finger and have the selection box as tap and hold with two fingers. Also...where is the multiplayer/skirmish option that other reviewers were talking about
The visuals are amazing, the game play is pretty good. The controls are a nightmare at first, but once you've got the hang of it can eat hours. Useful for plane journeys/delays, long train/coach rides. Make sure you have a charger handy for prolonged use. In short, get it. It's awesome.

Great game so far just the worst tutorial ever. Apparently to initiate research you have to double-backflip, curse at god, rip your hair out, give up, throw your tablet, take a shower, come back to the game determined to figure it out, start the game over because you must have missed something, realize you didn't, repeat steps 1-7 and finally after all of this, a fairy lands on your shoulder and whispers in your ear "There's an unlabeled 2 pixel button on a screen they refer to as the database but label it research. Press that." Thanks fairy!
This would be a terrific game if the controls didn't suck so bad. The horrible controls make this game completely unplayable. Don't waste your money. If the Dev ever realises how bad they ruined the game and fix the controls I'll gladly raise my review.
Great game, very fun. user interface is a little hard getting use to and I was a little confused at first but the graphics are second to none! Never played the pc version but will definitely look into it.
You have a great 3d space themed game here . Spectacular similar explosion effects can use more diversity etc , different weapon types create different space waste. Customise warheads. Weaponry etc. Work on the 3d space camera controls it's way too difficult . I keep things under control using the strategic view and missed most of the actions .
What's that? Attack those ships you say? Wouldn't you rather I fly over to this empty bit of space instead? No? What about that bit of empty space then? Well I suppose if you insist... Oh, its okay. That thing you were trying to project's been blown up anyway. Do yourself a favour, download on your PC and actually have a playable version of an absolute classic.
I can't believe this gem passed me by on the pc. A true great alongside the likes of homeworld but with the bonus it's on your tablet. Don't let the reviews about the controls throw you off spend 5 mins on pause getting used to the gestures it's a full 3d camera in space even with a mouse and keyboard it takes some getting used to. It's not perfect but with no right click or mouse wheel or even a mouse wheel press it works surprisingly well. More serious games like this please.
Samsung tab s. It appears the developer havent fixed this problem in over a year.
Played it for about 10 minutes and lost my patience with the UI. Unfortunately I was too late for a refund
Seems great so far, visually one if the best I've played. Controls are a bit fiddly but I guess you have to just get used to it
The games graphics are great but the controls could be easier or have a more thorough tutorial. It's the only reason I am giving it a 4 instead of 5
This game is awesome great controls great graphics great story line just one major issue I seem to run into about half way into the campaign or when I turn off my tablet to charge when I resume my game the menu on the bottom right never seems to open only way to fix this was to restart the campaign over and over again please help this game deserves five stars in my opinion
I love this game. Own this and Solon heritage on steam and disc.. will there be the Solon addon? More importantly... will there be skirmish against ai???? Story can only be played so many times...

Can someone help me , the tow ship wont tow on mars campaign and so I cant complete the mission. By the way tge controls are fine once you get used to them
Brilliant port of a brilliant game. I was almost put off by the various reviews complaining about the poor tutorial and interface, so I feel obliged to say that it really isn't bad at all. Where things aren't entirely clear you should be able to work it out very quickly. If you can't then, with the best will in the world, strategy games probably aren't for you.
I was looking for a good space SIM seeing as Cosmonautica deleted my savegame and hoped this would be better. It's awful, absolutely terrible. The controls are shockingly bad, finger presses dont register, missions are totally unclear, and there is no even remotely useful tutorial. I've spent most of my time aimlessly wondering around space completely confused, searching for tiny dots that are apparently mission objectives, but are so unclear on the map I can't find them. I'd give it nothing if I could.
If you liked sins of a solar empire welcome to the closest thing on mobile. Controls don't suck just take some learning after you will fly through this game like nobody's business. Great fun in my opinion.

Bad reviews about controls put me off for ages but I finally decided to try it. A brilliant port of a PC classic. No control issues here. I would recommend either a tablet or phablet to play on though.
Can't figure out the controls on here. Like, still in the tutorial, I can't press m or whatever to mine the asteroid, so can't play it
Not worth the cost the camera is unusable and not very responsive looks like it could of been a great game if only they had fixed the cam issue why not have a tiny onscreen control stick like most games to control the camera that would of solved all the issues with this game if ever they do fix the camera i will try this game again but for now my advice is Avoid at all costs
Please help! Screen just flickers and loads game all distorted!
This game is great, yes the controls are a little tricky at first, but its a 3d camera, stop crying about it, sit down and learn them. Don't complain you did not get money back, play the game, little b****es. P.S. POG is Personnel Other than Grunt. Its for the little army b**** crying. You should have been a real man and joined the Marines. That way you would be actually doing something for your country beside downloading games from behind the wire.
I remember how much I loved playing this game on PC. I was ecstatic when I saw it was adapted for mobile. Unfortunately, the controls are absolutely awful and poorly thought out. You shouldn't have to long-press just to move the CAMERA around. You should be long pressing to select units if anything, not to use camera controls. Good game poorly adapted for mobile due to terrible control scheme. 5 stars if the developers ever address these issues.

Cool came, but the camera controls are horrible and unusable. Tutorial is also pure crap and more frustrating than helpful. Some games should never be ported to mobile, and this is a perfect example of that game. Do not buy!
I don't have as much trouble with the controls as many do in their reviews. I think they're quite good with the exception that taps are frequently interpreted as attempts to select a tiny region. The game is beautiful and a lot of fun. Unfortunately I've had frequent crashes. They weren't too common for most of the game, but they happen consistently during episode 5 mission 2. I can't play past this, it just crashes :(. UPDATE: I got past it. For some reason sending spies through a wormhole crashed the game
This is and always will be a challenging strategy game from an era when not everything was handed to players on silver platers and there was no way to buy victory. This game is for gamers who thrive on thinking through challenges, long term planning, and methodical tactics. I played it on the PC years ago and loved it. I'm very surprised at how well it ported over to Android, a testament to the Dev. teams abilities since it runs great at high resolution on Galaxy S 10.5. What playing Hegimonia on a tablet added was the ability to flick through planet menus, and multifinger pan around an epic space battle making the entire experience much more involving and just plain straight out of the movies cool (honestly, who gets excited at watching people mouse click at stuff). There is a steap learning curve to the controls, but after watching the tutorial and pulling up the help menu a few times I got the hang of it just fine. Great job on this one, I hope to see more ports in the future since true RTS games are harder to come by these days.
you seemed to have forgotten that you had to go to multiplayer to create a random game vs. the AI. that really messes this up.. at least in imperium galactica 2 you still have the random game.. I hope you get that fixed. it was under "multi-player", if you fix that then I can enjoy the game as it was MEANT to be played, as it is now it is crippled. To top that off the controls don't work with nexus 7s, 2012 or 2013 models. At the beginning of the game you select your ships then tap and hold till the yellow arrow appears, but that doesn't work, yourshipsgo past the Icarus and it comes toward you.. It tells you to press F1 for the menus at the beginning as well.. Do much work prepping this for porting? Looks like none.. BTW, that's as much of the game as you see on a n7.
This is exactly like the PC version - an awesome experience. This would have been 5 stars except it really needs the manual included with the game somehow. It also needs skirmish mode from the pc as well.
The campaign is fun, the controls take some getting used to but at least you can still pause, what I really want is Skirmish Mode and also the stuff from the Solon Heritage.
Wheres the tutorial and also why is there no skirmish? Please update the game

For anyone having trouble with the controls and camera, just a hint you are gonna spend a lot of time figuring out context menus and lot of time in the tactical view. The tactical view is your friend. Tap the button that looks like a planet with a ring to switch to it. Wish other older RTS games would get ported to Android but so far this one has been great.
