Steps to play: Select king (black/white) and play
Beat the Device. Simple UI with great graphics, just select your side (black/white) and start playing. Selection of each piece shows possible moves which will also help new players to learn fast with no mistakes. All the moves are traced with the color representation (last move, possible move for selected piece). No Ads which helps players to concentrate on board.

When a app is not good, one should allow time for development on these free app's. When an app is not to an acceptable standard, has almost no value and been abandoned like this one! Google Play should remove it - Last update 2012! Its frustrating typing "Chess" in the search bar and the same underdeveloped app's show up. Also 0* should be available to select!

Black queen on white square if playing black, only one preset level, ugly board and pieces which look like black and white arcade game ... okay for new players but lack of features and playing black queen on white square doesn't exactly teach the game very well.
