Killer Sudoku

Not really a "free" game When you only have 2 possible games per level without purchasing, it's not worth downloading if you're after a free game. The little I got to play was good. But now that I've completed the avaliable free puzzles, I'm uninstalling..

This is an impressive app. Some of the 'bonus' levels really are HARD! Online solvers can't solve them... I get a real sense of achievement when I crack one. First bonus level took me 5 hours. :-s I agree, with others, that it would be very helpful for notes/guessed numbers to auto-sort. So re-adding 1 doesn't go in front of 9, etc. Even better, although I'm sure the coding demands are high, would be if - for notes/guesses - we could have: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ... across 3 lines in each individual cell. This would help me, and others, who take visual cues from doing this on paper versions. I feel this would take every rating up to 5 for me.

Honestly you haven't even considered the fact that some people may never have played this before... I only know how to play normal sudoku so this is completely alien and confusing to me. No where does it explain how to play the game. You could have easily incorporated a practice level where you show people how to play...but nope. Uninstalling.

Stellar for killer sudoku fans. Excellent notes system, great controls, handy options. My only criticism is the undo button needa to be on the main screen. Still, stellar. Hats off to the dev - thanks for an app that I enjoy every day!

Can't get enough. This app works great. I just wish there was a way to put temp #'s in boxes like I do w a pencil on paper. Otherwise, I am totally addicted to this app!

This app is fantastic. Clear, easy to use, fun and challenging. The only thing I would change is the timer. I don't have the need for one, and it would be great to see an option to turn it off. Otherwise it's the best Killer Sudoku app out there.

This is the best implementation of Killer Sudoku. You only get a handful of puzzles free but can buy packs pretty cheap. I am so thrifty/stingy that I never buy add-ons. But I just couldn't delete the app so I did it. Praise indeed.

One of the best apparently to play. Very difficult to access a new game. I purchased the expanded game pack. Now when I want to play a new game I have to scroll through all the beginner and medium games. Not as easy as it sounds. Would be nice to jump directly to the game level desired

Great app! Biggest complaint is that if you buy a big puzzle pack, scrolling past all the Easy and Medium puzzles to get to a hard one is a huge pain. Please add a difficulty filter so I can jump straight to the hard puzzles.

One of the best Killer apps out there and tried them all. Only reason for 4 rather than 5 is that more impossible puzzles needed - need new puzzles to be published!

I like the challenge in addition to a regular sudoku puzzle. Would like it to rotate like other apps. Not thrilled about paying for more puzzles. The double keypads are a great idea. Maybe some explanation of the overall concept of the puzzles and the fact that more puzzles will cost you some coin.

Really annoying that there is no way of skipping to a specific level

The only problem is that progress is not saved. 2 times already it crashed and I lost all games I already solved when the app was installed again. Please add the option of save progress in Google profile.

Lots of well-graded puzzles and excellent interface. Slight downgrade for a bug where a candidate is sometimes eliminated when you enter a value into an unrelated cell. Otherwise plays very well.

Love the user interface. Killer sudoku provides a good challenge. The features like colored background to visually separate the boxes pertaining to each sum and the lists of possible combinations are very helpful. My favorite feature is the ability to enter possible digits into a group of boxes simultaneously. Excellent work. One suggestion I would like to make is to provide the option to force the possible numbers entered from the keypad on the right into numeric order so it's easy to see what options are left as you progress. Thanks.

Excellent app, my favorite for Killer Sudoku so far. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is due to a bug when using the auto-eliminate mode: randomly, a number "note" will be deleted from a square or set of squares that aren't logically affected by the input of a number elsewhere in the puzzle. Obviously, this isn't a problem when not using the auto-eliminate mode. Otherwise, great app!

Has all the useful tools that automate what I usually end up scribbling down the side of my puzzle book pages. Well worth downloading and paying for.

Better than in a newspaper or puzzle book because errors can be undone. A good range of options. I particularly like the combinations window where individual combinations can be crossed out.

Only one suggestion: a menu to jump to your desired level of difficulty, otherwise you need to scroll through hundreds of games before reaching the hard levels

It's a great game, but this is the second time my phone shut down in the middle of playing a game and when I restarted my phone all my puzzles have disappeared. It's also annoying how often I get asked to review the app, I started off with a high rating but it has been getting lower and lower

Excellent product. Just one minor niggle. The 'list combinations' feature doesn't allow you to specify a sum ending in 0

This is a great implementation of Killer Sudoku and one off few apps I've spent money on even if just a few bucks. Only note taking thing I would want an improvement on would be the ability to have the crossed out combinations to be saved even if I close the version and show up again if I look at the combination for the same group again.

Great app but if you buy a mega pack it takes forever to scroll through puzzles... Insane that there isn't an easier way

This is actually a really good app and I love the puzzles. I've purchased 2 of the easy puzzle packs and was trying to buy a third but every time I click buy I get a message saying Google play has stopped working. Is this a fault with this app? I don't have a problem when purchasing in any other apps and didn't with the first 2 packs so what's changed? Even tried buying the bigger pack but got the same message so it's not like a deliberate fault in order to get me to purchase a dearer one...?

I've previously spent far too much on sudoku books at the newsagent that only have a few killer sudoku puzzles in them. This has hundreds (for a few dollars after installation, within the app). Also, I'm used to having to be set up at a table with my notes for different combinations handy. Amazingly, this app makes all that information available in concise form, available on the screen and able to be moved so it doesn't obstruct my notes on the grid. This app proves KS can be done in an app, and done well!!

A truly excellent implementation of a Killer Sudoku app. It really couldn't be bettered and very reasonable compared to buying a paperback. I hope they make other versions of Sudoku with this user interface, its exceptionally easy to use. If you want a Killer Sudku app - go for this one.

I love how this app lets you avoid the tedious switching off all other Sudoku puzzles to go in and out of pencil/note mode. But it's awkward seeing what you're undoing, and it's annoying that numbers appear in the order typed, not numeric order.

A section was noted as needing sum of 26. Yet the "correct" answer according to app only came to 1+2+4+6+8 for a sum of 21! Fix the math and it would be great. Btw was puzzle Hard#21.

This is a great app. It doesn't come with many puzzles, but the extras come at a very reasonable price. It has enough useful features that it is just as good as pen and paper. It does use a little more battery than you'd expect though.

Entertaining. Lacks Killsud's ability to permutate for included/excluded number combinations (which takes the 'drag' out of the game). I am never sure that answers are all logically derived in the difficult puzzles.

I am usually disappointed with Sudoku apps, as I typically complete all the most difficult level with little trouble. This app has a ton more puzzles, and the Hard level (which is the mid-difficult level) are actually hard. It actually takes some critical thinking and focus. I highly recommend this app. Worth every cent.

The game is fun and usually does great but has some major problems on the Android version. The bottom three rows will often delete or not allow a correct number to be penciled in. Very frustrating. I rate this app lower every time they ask me to rate it again.

I have rated this at 5 stars, however it keeps asking me to rate it so I have downgraded it. Fix that and it's 5 stars again

I'm a huge puzzle game fan and this is by far my favorite. If you loved Sudoku, but it became boring, this is the game for you.

Love this game. It's easy to use with the separate number pads for notes and answers and the list of combination options where u can cross off the ones that aren't relevant. I prefer the "impossible" ones to give more of a challenge.

I had this app on my old iPhone and was sad it wasn't available for Android. I like that you can open sums while still being able to see the puzzle.
