Age of War

I used to go to the library everyday and play this game back in the days when I didn't own a computer. The game was great, but what made it memorable is the soundtrack. I could play this game for hours just to listen to it. The game is challenging and you can spend a lot of time especially now that the game has achievements. Sadly you can't unlock most of them without buying the "dlc", which apparently unlocks a general for each age that you can play against. Despite that this is a great game and I recommend this to everyone who's up for a little challenge.

I Saw On The app store That There was a new Update, I was Like "YAY!" I Read about the new Update With the New Generals And I was Like "AWESOME!" So then I updated the game. I was So excited, but then It said I have to pay $6.99 To play the new general levels! Then I Raged And Said "Nooo!". Overall The App Is OK. It used to be good game. But Basically Now They Want your money.

Works great on Note 4 running Lollipop! Rated 4 stars for a lack of Functions and over priced add-ons! I would like a mute option that completely mutes all sounds from the game. The cost of unlocks are outrageously expensive and no way to unlock all achievements without paying! Would like to see Age of War 2!

AI keeps generating xp and has infinite money even if it had no kills, to the point that it upgrades even faster than I do. As mentioned by an other player AI units are stronger. You will lose all progress if the game closes for any reason. Not much to do after all the upgrades.

Don't let the other reviews fool you, this is not a good game. I remember playing this when I was a child and NOTHING has changed. Impossible mode shouldn't be quite literally impossible. No reply value. over priced dlc and nothing even added except "your facing ghengis Khan". Units don't change, same ages, and same turrets. Greedy owner wanting to abuse peoples nostalgia. Don't download and find a better game.

So what if it's boring? I used play this all the time as a kid. I remember when my friend first showed me this I was addicted. Plus you don't have to unlock impossible. The generals add more spice to the game. I'm just waiting for age of war 2 now.

Impossible mode is a joke rofl. Literally every unit it sends either 1 or 2 shots you depending on if it's in the next age or not. I remember playing this year's ago on the computer and it was why I downloaded it again on mobile. But seriously need to look at impossible again and how to rebalance it.

This is a fun game but it does not remember your preferences. The only way to turn the sound off is to start the game with everything making noise in the background. Once the game is started you can turn the sound off. Very annoying! Plus, if you are interrupted it doesn't save where you're at the game restarts.

I love this game. I also played it on the computer too! When I found out there was a moblie version, I immediatly downloaded it. I really like the game as it is very thrilling. However I hope that you could add a multiplayer to it. If you could add a multiplayer to it I would definitely give the game a five star. I hope that you guys will consider it. I'm not threatening I just want the game to be more popular, and I can play with my friends and family.

Same thing gets super boring after 20 minutes. They added something but you gotta pay 6 bucks just to get the extra game mode. Dont waste your time with this app

I was playing just fine and was in the last level and about to win, until i went to my phone settings to change something and when I came back, the game was lost and it was reset!! I didn't click "exit game", I just paused it and pressed home on my phone buttons, and then came back to it, and it was lost!! This has happened twice already!! Fix this!! But other than that good game. I'm using Sony Xperia M4 Aqua.

I loved your game no update needed your great and you did earn that 7$ everyone stop complaining. And it will load its probably that you have no Wi-Fi but Max games I love your game and apreseate your hard work.

Really nice game, I loved to play it on pc when I was a child and nothing has changed. But I have one problem : why can't the game save the progress, I mean it's really annoying to restart from the stone age every time you start the app.

Thank you for making age of war mobile some people just dont appreciate that(edit) but wait, where is upgrades and anti armour!! Also can you plz try to make raze mobile and or multi-player.

Instead of improving the AI, you give the enemy stronger attacks and more health... that's boring and unfair. The strategy is the fun part. The store prices are shameful too. Not worth at all

Different type of, hhmm not sure, war, strategy, action, shooter, not sure what category it fits in, but with most games all copying the last, its nice to see a fresh game concept that works. Way to go game developers, this is a great game that really is fun, not sure what u have to do to increase replayability as its null right no.w, but whatever ill call it perfect as of now, as its fun, original, and just all around a great game!!!!!!!! Try it, u wont regret it....no i dont work for them....lol. r

If I pause to text or answer a call or just to take a break and come back later my game doesn't save therefore have to restart, other than that I love this game.

Normal and hardened are fun, but impossible is literally impossible. I shouldn't be able to dominate a difficulty and then get destroyed every time one difficulty up. Designers who make the game impossible so u have to buy full game like you are a joke.

I was in the space age, I was at 1 health and the moment was glorious. I upgraded all my defences to 100k defenses and I was unstoppable! Then I realised the game was going on for an hour and a half. Then I finished Normal with 5 super soldiers. For people who think I am cheating, trust me, I had 4 of those 100k defenses. The war machine was a joke to me.

This is one of my favorite games on the app store. When I saw that general mode was $7, I was about to delete it. I understand that you guys need money, but hardly anyone will but it at that price. May it $.99 and you will get a ton of purchases. Overall, you will make more money if you make the price lower. It's basic economics. And I noticed that people are saying that impossible mode is literaly impossible. That is false. I've beaten it two times on impossible. Just upgrade your turrets immediately.

After so many attempts to beat IMPOSSIBLE MODE, now it is beatable for me as I figure out the strategy to outplay them. Impossible mode now easy to beat but quite time consuming.

I used to play this game on my computer. I bought the hacked version for $6 and I couldn't turn it off so I uninstalled the game and re-installed it and then I didn't have the hacked version anymore (EDIT: the update came out and now I have it back). Also, for anyone who was wondering the coin cap, it goes over 10,000,000. I used turrets in the final age to save up money and I got to about 10 million (and then I bought a ridiculous amount of super soldiers).

The easiest mode is literally impossible! You can't get past the second stage. They rank up so much faster than you. How am I suppose to get the achievement of killing a caveman with the best guy if they are always ahead?!

I was stoked when i saw this in the playstore! Downloaded it right away to find out its pointless... you cant upgrade your troops and they always evolve before you so im deleting this game 30 minutes after i first downloaded it kinda sad. Also theres no way im paying that much for a "new" gamemode that you pretty much would gamble your money on.

I have been wondering if there is a way to unlock those generals for free. I just finished hard, and I am currently wondering if there is a way it may be if I complete impossible... but I'm not one of you guys, so I wouldn't know. Also, Jack, I noticed your comment and just want to say that is how I beat hard mode.

the hacked version should already be unlocked. And the new general update costs money! REALLY! Cant we experience the joy of this game without having to pay $6?

I played this game for a while and enjoyed it. I just recently bought the extra generals, but am displeased about the game, and how there is no save feature. I would like to refund my cost and don't want the extra generals

The app opens and reads "Loading Age of War" and there are sounds in the background but nothing ever happens. I would love to actually play the game.

This game is fun to play. There are parts of the game you can unlock if you are willing to pay 6 bucks per part. I'd buy it if it was 1-2 dollars, but 5.49 to play PART of a game I downloaded? No.

New game mode cost $7 with no screen shots or info. Thats to much for a mobile game. This is getting deleted.

This is a great time killer, and is very fun. It's not as good as the flash game though.

This game was amazing! But this version I can't say as much... some stages are missing, the background always stays the same and doesn't change with the theme of stage... and the adds! I don't mind adds too much. But when it's only video adds it really makes me want to hit you over the head with a metal bat. MOBILE DATA USERS! keep that in mind... to me this seems more like a lazy attempt at a game (skipping parts of the actual game out) and then only doing it for the money... (only video adds).

Don't see why people complain about this. It works perfectly, although $7 is a little ridiculous for a game mode, I love this game to death!

The game itself is fun, but I paid for both the in game purchases and only received one. When I tap the other, it says I already own it, and it charged me for it, but I can't play it.

Glad you finally updated the game! I was so pumped when I saw it, but....the prices are a bit ridiculous. $7 for the gamemode that doesn't add any new units or turrets just levels with the same ages and units.

The newest update has made this game more awesome than ever! Generals mode costs money though..... but now hacked version and glorious morning cost $00.00!!! Thanks max games, I enjoy your game I recommend this game!

Its an awesome game, but it starts to become repetitive pretty soon. It has other game modes and challenges but it costs $6... That's way to much to ask for for a mobile game

The game is fun in comparison to others like it, but its gets boring fast. Once you get to the last upgrade the turrets can defend your base alone and the computer can't put up a fight.

The game its self is good and aspecially when you purchase the cheat mode :) but generals are tiny bit to expensive. I recon they should add as well spartans and world war 2 short of soliders, and few new eras which be fantastic. Sorry for spelling mistakes hope to see game improve :) Kind regards Eryk :)
