The Mini Court

Simple and addicting, The Mini Court is sure to bring back the old childhood memories when the trump games reigned supreme. We've taken the quintessential trump game and revamped it for the new century.

Overview

The Mini Court is played with 2 players.The objective of the game is to score +20 or make opponent score -20. A game consists of many hands. Each hand is played with 8 cards of each suit in the order of precedence, A > K > Q > J > 10 > 9 > 8 > 7.

Trump

The Trump Card is set at the beginning of each hand. The trump suit takes precedence over all the other suits. Each player is given a chance to set the trump alternatively. If the player does not want to set the trump, he/she can pass before even selecting the trump suit. Trump suit can be set in +2 or +4 hand points which will inturn have value in scoring. The trump will be revealed as soon as the first player draws the card.

Scoring

Scoring involves two sections.
a. Game Score : Score +20 points or make opponent score -20 to win the game.
b. Hand Score : This depends on who sets the trump card.
If the trump is set by computer in +2 points, then computer has to make 8 trick points in that particular hand and you will have to make only 6 trick points. Any extra trick points made will be multiplied by 2 for the computer and by 1 for you. Same is the case if trick points are not met, the difference of the points is multiplied by -2 or -1 respectively.
If the trump is set by computer in +4 points, then computer has to make 10 trick points in that particular hand and you will have to make 8 trick points. Any extra trick points made will be multiplied by 4 for the computer and by 2 for you. Same is the case if trick points are not met, the difference of the points is multiplied by -4 or -2 respectively.

Bonus

Bonus round is a special round where one can directly win or lose the game in one shot.
a. Outtake round : This condition will arise if the trump set by one player is not present in the visible cards of his opponent. In such a case, he will be presented with an option to outtake the opponent. If the player selects 'Yes', then there will not be trump suit in the game.This game is now played with only visible cards (6+4) and player who had selected the trump has first chance to draw the card. If the opponent makes at least 1 point, then opponent wins the game. Otherwise player wins the game.
b. Deewali round : If the player captures all 16 trick points in one hand, then he will win the game.
