Its an amazing game for being a first release. The scoop of the game world is massive with an interesting twist to the usual pirate trading sims out there. I found a few bugs; mostly the pop-up text for information overlap each other so you get a split second to read the first message before the next pops up. I would like to see an updated combat system and a bit more story. Also the pirate sound got a bit annoying. Alas! Ye maties it do be a wonderful pastime whilts one reloads me blunderbus!

Easy to play.

It has potential, but I could not play [this initial release] for hours. The map for course plotting is confusing in that names of locations in range change while the map suggests you're always in about the same place. Combat consists of (1)encountering either a navy, pirate, or trader vessel (2)pressing 'Attack' button (3)reading a small popup that says whether each ship has hit or missed (4)repeating steps 2 & 3, blissfully ignorant of the resulting disrepair of either ship. I eagerly await updates!

Gets a bit repetative as a noncombat trader, but more varied situations/missions can always be added. Good purchase.

It doesn't have fancy actions but satisfying trade simulation. It reminds me of 1869 from Amiga times.
