Barcode Knight ( Ad Version )

I at first thought when i got the ad version i was gonna be just swamped with ads but it really is easy on the ads. The game has it's cute perks and easy but interesting game play. Pvp is not to hard to win but I only just started and has good set rules on pvp. I have yet use cash in game so i will have no info for players on how the payments are.

Surprisingly fun and it gets me running around the house looking for the code that might have the right monsters in it. Kind of wish the dev would give the game their attention again, but I appreciate that there are newer projects to occupy that attention:)

Well, lemme say this- it could be a great game. But it's not. Not really. What is this dialogue about? It's like it was written by a poorly educated, unimaginative 15 year old. Half of the time, bar codes don't scan and at this point I honestly think people rate this highly because it's the ONLY fully developed app with the barcode scanning function. Guys that made this? Hire somebody qualified to write your script, because you obviously can't handle it.

Fun game. I only played for a few hours, i hope this game has a lot of different types of monsters to fight. Please add multiplayer co-op mode, that would be sweet... I cant find anyone to pvp tho............

interesting game play. remember which barcodes will u encounter specific monsters. very helpful in quests. otherwise random enemies is just fine. not without bugs though. often the bgm overlaps as it plays a new bgm making the game run slow and annoying..

Great concept! Rather straightforward and what one would expect based on the description. Have had a slight delay issue when using special magic attack but other than that the experience has been smooth.

Nothing special here. The barcode scanning aspect is utterly pointless and the game relies on it for quests and such. Unfortunately, no matter what barcodes I scan, I can never seem to get the enemies required for the quests. All in all, it is an okay auto-battler, but nothing more.

Camera is horrible. It's reversed--up is down and down is up, so it's impossible to scan barcodes... which you have to do every two minutes. Needs a "repeat last code" button. NO EXPLANATION of the stats and icons anywhere. No Help menu with info.

Great game concept. Great game even there are too much grind. It just saddens me that levelling takes so much time here. It's still a good game anyway.

Overall, its a good game. Passes time and makes you want to improve. The over abundance of item types with the lack of inventory makes for a rather boring grind. The barcode keeping monsters is great, the fact that a community has sprung up for it to allow people to share monster specific barcodes is great. Just a bit of a let down when you spend two days hoping for the same weapon you like, while getting nothing but close to useless hairstyles, is a bit annoying. Items should be more barcode specific as well. A general group of items you can get from a barcode, but with enough variety and rarity to make it so you can't get an abnormally upgraded weapon in four fights.

Terrific game but when I click/tap the scan portal it exits, but to be fair not an ad so its still great

Fun concept! I like the simple gameplay and enjoy the cute graphics. Haven't felt pressure to purchase IAP and have fingers crossed that it won't be necessary.

It's a fun game and easy to play however monsters can be hard to find if you don't have a variety of items with barcodes around the house. Overall I think it's a great game to play and pass time.

I'm a big fan of pixel art it inspires me to make more works of art. The fighting system has its own thrill. And lastly i liked the idea of roaming around searching for barcodes for quests its like the next pokemon go.

While I can see potential, many say that no changes are going to come in due to other projects thus I find that kind of sad. Anways, I rated this 2 stars because it honestly took too long to recognise a barcode - it took 1/2 an hour to recognise just one in which I developed a headache due to it constantly zooming in and out throughout the entire time. This may be either due to my phone having a poor camera (Samsung Galaxy S5) or that the program used to scan the barcode itself is poor or maybe it is the barcode itself that is causing the problem but either way I had a poor experince in the end. It could've been great if not for the barcode recognition for me having been so poor.

Cool game but why is the camera like backwards and upside-down. It's a pain to scan the barcodes

The free version works great for me, but if i go for the paid version, it downloads a new version (instead of an update, so you lose all progress) and then the camera wont work to read barcodes. So until that is fixed, the free version works and still holds my interest.

This game is good and has a lot of potential, they just need to make a counter for the inventory as well as the rate of stamina recovery.

What's the point in special move if it does 1 damage. And seriously watch an ad to receive a bonus. There is no bonus! There is only an ad scammers!

A bit problem. Can I see both of my hero and partner hp. Also it seems to have multiple bgm running at once.

HELP I cant combine two weapins. The weapins are in my invetory! Also how do u put things in the shop.

I've really enjoyed the game so far but the forge system appears to either be broken or just not working for me.

It makes you get up and move around looking for the codes that will give you new monsters and items.

daily code discontinued should be removed. have 2 of same weapon weapon forge won't combine says not the same. Uninstaller for that reason

The note that the shopkeeper/upgrade (all of them) says won't disappear and I can't upgrade.

Its a fun game to dawdle around with and honestly the ads dont bother me since they arent video ads that force you to sit there and watch it. The game is simple just equip your hero with strong items and face off against monsters that you can scan from items around you or randomized from the portal.

It reminds me of an old 90s game just an RPG instead and since I work in a store im constantly surrounded by potential battles

The game is fine. I play it last night. But after scan some of barcode. Then it suddenly crash and cannot scan anything after that.

I don't know what to do, the only thing I can do is tap on the portal, but I don't know what to do in there. All I can do in the portal is tilt my tablet, but nothing shows up exempt a weird thing that moves when I tilt

Nice game just two problems 1 sometimes slows down 2 randumb crashing but its a fun game regardless

Well on the topic i scan a barcode and wont work why did i wast my time on this go figure
