Shan Gui is a short, linear, kinetic visual-novel set in Nanjing's gorgeous Purple Mountain. It follows the adventure of two young girls as they tour the park, attempting to recount faded childhood memories. Han Hui is moody and depressed until she eventually becomes enraptured by He Jia's overwhelming warmth and happiness. In He Jia, Han Hui finds respite from her sadness and a brand new friend... a friend who may be more than she suggests.

Very sweet story and beautiful music. But the UI is clunky and occasionally the auto advance feature would stop working until I restarted the app. Also, music skips during some of the dialog.

I first got this since it was free on the store page and i absolutely love the idea of combining great anime graphics with beautiful drawings and i hope they do more of this type of game in the future. The only down side is i personally thought the story could have been a little longer and it's probably catered to a more younger audience but by all means try it out since its free cause it's a really interesting game.

Rating low. Here is why. I spent 10 minutes tapping text through a story. Then it crash and brought up a c prompt style menu detailing error. Said screw it and uninstalled. That was yesterday. Phone running slow, went to optimize. Said artery being drained by game, couldn't be since I uninstalled. But low and behold it was back on my phone. Went to system files and uninstalled there. Keeping an eye on this.

A true Chinese product: a hotchpotch of popular ideas that results in a lackluster, albeit cheap and shiny, product. Shallow and generic "mystic" story, very short yet drawn out, absolutely linear storytelling, jarring out-of-place fanservice, awkward translation, wonky mismatched graphics, unresponsive UI. Only okay if you get it for free and are rather young and undemanding.
