Steam Defense™ is a side-scrolling real-time strategy in a vivid tropical world of the wild planet Gloria-6, covered with shady woods, where colonists from Earth, torn from home, are forced to confront the mysterious and formidable Dryans - an intelligent race of Gloria-6 aborigines jealously guarding their secrets from strangers!
In Steam Defense you will build a base, collect resources, research technologies, and hire troops to attack enemy. Your enemies are native creatures (Tremendor, Druid, Dragon and others) with leader Sister of the Moon who can use spells of Chain Lightning, Tornado, Blizzard and even Earthquake against your army.
But you can resist using infantry, aviation, tanks and artillery. Control your hero Vincent Gear to use Riffle, Grenades, Flamethrower and jetpack that burns your opponents. Furthermore, the hero gains experience to be used to improve skills.
There is a lot of strategies to win: using tanks or aviation, researching troops or hero’s weapons, blitzkrieg or long development. Excellent playing skills are especially important in multiplayer (PvP).
Game consists of 2 campaigns, 24 levels each. The game world is introduced by comics and dialogues. You can choose difficulty level for any mission. Do your best and defeat all enemies and bosses to complete 2 campaigns.

I really enjoyed my first couple days with this game, so I payed for premium. I've had numerous save loss issues, constant crashing with Save loss, started a new game after contacting madsword about save wipe and after two weeks, it decided to load the old save which was slightly behind my new progress. Unacceptable for me to try again. Uninstalled.

Every time I upgrade something using rubies once, it reverts back to the level it was before upgrading with rubies upon relogging into game. Getting real frustrating upgrading the same thing to 20 multiple times and still losing my ruby count. ******rating back at 5 after issue resolved, sitting at 1 now******

When you contact Admin to explain you haven't received your rubies and even sent them the google email receipt. But no response and nothing done shocking, you are rubbish and shouldn't be aloud to be on google when you rip people off. There is no protection against these scam merchants!!!!!

The game is a tower defense variation, similar to Cartoon Wars. You establish the odd resource extractor and produce troops. The difference is that you have a hero as your avatar and difference maker. The game has a surprising amount of depth and you can replay old missions to farm. While there is a currency you can buy, it seems everything can be bought with standard gold you collect. The gameworld is a cross between steampunk/dieselpunk tech and the movie Avatar, with solid gameplay.

Got to fourth level in first sitting. Good game, but won't load my location after I load the game. Just force closes :-(

After about 15-20 levels the game got retarded hard. The little energy balls that fly around ttacking you have WAY TO MUCH POWER! They take a decent amount of your life away everytime they attack!

Great game idea except for one problem developer on this top end KitKat device,THE CHARACTERS ARE INVISIBLE!, Bloody brilliant!,fix it and I will reinstall and rate higher!16-6-2014 i reveiwed this game as previous. The devs responded(took a week or so) and the problem was fixed. The game itself is alright but personal preferences keeps me from playing it further. Give it a try it is a good game just not for me, uninstalled it. .

nice game, but mission 4 is broken and i cant continue... i saw your suggestion for another user below and i have to say, phone games arent meant to be on the pc. that means the graphics and ram needed is too costly for most phones usually. this needs to be fixed for phone use.

Can you add a sandbox mode (infinite of all) for fun and I can't wait for the alien campaign but I feel like it's going to cost money or require the dryan campaign completed :( and I feel like some levels are too hard,even on casual mode
