Card City Nights for Android
But it's SUPER slow paced, which kills it for me. Even with battle speed turned all the way up it's still slower than any card game I've ever played
The game is awesome: AI is allright, card design is on point (some broken cards though) and the soundtrack is nice. Thing is, once you're done with the story mode, the replay value is very low and further development on the game seems to have halted :( would love an expansion or a new set!
Great game. Will lose your progress often if you switch away at the wrong time. That's pretty basic, so -2 stars :-/
I've played and finished this game twice already. It's very addictive. My only gripe is that it's too short. It's over too soon. It's so good that I just want to keep playing indefinitely.
Fun but not balanced This game relies heavily on RNG and unlike Card Wars, the balancing of certain cards versus others is really too varied to make it consistent. The matching system isn't really the direction they should have gone with this and unless you played other games by the same company such as Ittle Dew, you're going to miss a lot of jokes on the card art.
I'm rarely inspired to write reviews but feel like more people should know about little gem. Great design and atmosphere, simple card fight mechanic that has plenty of depth and NO iap's - you know you've got the full game. Love it. (Runs perfectly on my note 10.1)
Card City Nights is an easy to pick up card game with hours of fun. It's my favorite indie title of 2014.
My game keeps restarting after the tutorial. My device is a galaxy tab pro 8.4. Please fix!
Not very many games make me feel like my time was well spent, but this is one of them. I come back to it frequently, just to try building decks. At its price it's a total steal.
Love this game. It's very easy to get into. A good amount of different cards and very balanced difficulty. The last boss is really tough and you may have to grind for some better cards but it's cool. The soundtrack is amazing too! Most games I would turn the music off and put my own music but I didn't need to do that with this game. A big plus, the art style reminds me of "Doug" haha.
It's fun. The cards are easy to read. It's worth the money. No technical problem. Now if we can play online will rate 5 stars. I can't beat the cool chick. Anyone can help?
Well worth every star. A very refreshing game with good replay value. If your a fan of games like Ascension, Food Fight, Penny Arcade, and Summoner Wars (all digital board/card games on iOS by Playdek), then your going to love this game. Adding modes like pass & play, skirmish, and asynchronous multiplayer would be the icing on the cake! Option to toggle on/off sound fx/music would be nice too.

Guess I'm lucky. A great game - thank you for not going down the freemium route.

...but crashes A LOT. I rarely have apps crash on my Galaxy S5, but here we are. BUYER BEWARE
Very good. Great atmosphere, writimg, music, and card battles.
I have an LG G4, and was cleaning my room when I found my deck of Card City Nights cards. I had just gotten my phone, so I searched for it on the Play store. Love the game, try it on Steam. Support for the G4 is fantastic, I don't know how I lived without it. 8/8 No h8 b8 m8 appreci8.
Great entertaining game. Great no-nonsense approach. Wish there were some kind of pvp over Bluetooth or wifi...
More skill than hearthstone
Still can't get the game to work on note 3. Crashes before first battle. Seems to work on nexus 7 fine. No updates since April 2014. Are you going to fix it?
with awesome characters, they made me smile through most of the game, and I count it as a big achievement. Graphically it's neat, and the gameplay is good. Only 4 stars for this great gake, because a deck focusing on pure offence is overpowered, I literally didn't lost any match, and I completed the game, including bonus content.

This game captures the essence of a CCG without having to constantly pay money to get new packs. It also has great depth for such a simple concept. I have 6 different decks all with quite a different strategy to them. This is what I want out of my apps. Also I have to make this clear to everyone. There are zero in-app-purchases! Yes! Thank you!
This game is very fun but after defeating the Dazzling Man it crashes every time after recieving his legendary card. Please fix this! I can't proceed!
Good game, good meta-game, good longevity. Very enjoyable and well polished app.
It's a really fun and engaging game that uses its comedic card collection to the fullest.
Most card based games bore me, BUT NOT THIS ONE, give it a go and dont let the cartoonie visuals put you of, the strategy is complex.,but still not so hard that you need to go to university to learn how to play. Well done dev.
There is an annoying bug in the school level where the game will repeatedly crash on a speech section. After bypassing it, game ran fine.
I haven't beaten the game as yet. So far it's been great. However I think online multiplayer or multiplayer between devices would take this game to the next level. This game has endless possibilities.
Game play is impressive, but no updates for half of a year? That is not acceptable. Please update the game with new contents.
Great humor, fun game... But I have played the tutorial twice and both times it crashed, went back to the title screen and started over from the beginning. I have a Moto X on 4.4.2, I'll try some troubleshooting... Will grade better when it works...edit, clear data and reboot and it seems to be working better... Also avoided the Google+ sign in this time. Will give 5th start once tested.
Best I've found so far anyone know any good card battle games?
Great game, thanks for making it.
I have enjoyed this a lot on pc and now I have it on my phone too :)
This game looks like a lot of fun, but it keeps crashing after the tutorial. I can't even play. Tried to e-mail devs, been waiting 3 days. Phone is an LG G2.
Great, easy to play deckbuilding game
Keeps restarting to title screen after tutorial on my HTC m8. Seems to have done this on other devices too. If fixed I Will re-rate
Crashes repeatedly without exception after first duel. Unplayable.

Fun offline fusion of a Trading Card Game (TCG) and a puzzle game. Most trading card games require an online connection. Card City nights does not, and works just fine offline. the game has a fun, quirky sense of humor. I'm familiar with some of the developer's other games and a number of the characters make cameos as cards or payers in Card City nights. I'm particularly pleased with how the game has distracted my eldest son from more violent games. It's just weird enough to keep an eight year old interested
