Tendo64 (N64 Emulator) for Android
This new update sucks, cant swipe to open side menu during gameplay, the new layout is an eyesore and the games take way longer to load. Dont fix something if it aint broken
Ever since Mupen64 was last updated, emulators based on it stopped working for me, how can I send you a crash log or something to see where does the problem lie on?
When your app updated it erased all my frickin save data on my games highly disappointed with you and your product
The emulator became slower and worst than the previous version before this. The lag increases as well as the stuttering of sound.
i tryed to play a bunch of classics like bango kazooie and stuff like that but i tipe it in and nothing happened
Can't find a way to program hardware keys. There is the menu option to enable it but no corresponding tool to map it with. Also hope the hardware buttons can be toggled.
wwf no mercy keeps freezing can u please fix it
It gives me way too many ads still
Great UI(the boxart feature is great) and the fact you set the emulation settings for each individual rom is a lifesaver. This app deserves all 5 stars
It helps me play all my n64 favorite titles but I can't find any more fun :(
I think is the only emulator of N64 that really works, and have periodical updates.
Works perfectly even under 3x emulation speed, great for majoras mask/s7 edge
This game is fun becuase you get to play mario party and other game's
Was on last night then got on today all the games was gone from the library and all my save data gone
Love this emulator, spent many hours playing ocarina of time with it.
It works good but the ads pop-up to much besides that it works good
Since updated to android nougat, cant play any game
Copy of Mupen64+ FZ,but this app contains advertisements.Original is free for advertisements.
Nice setup on the boot up.
No L Button seriously the lack of the L button is really driving me nuts in a future updates please add the L button you know L stands for Luigi
Love it best eumler ever!
just like Mupen
Really like the look and UI of it
Could be better but it's good
This emulator kicks butt! It has so many great features, such as automatically downloading cover art and doing md5 checksums of your ROMs to verify they are good. My favourite part is how it let's you have individual settings per ROM. It let me play DK64 on my Nvidia Shield too!
I've been having problems with N64 emulators. The two I have are Megan64 and this one (Tendo64). The Tendo64 is the only one that actually plays every single N64 game without any issues at all, especially with Donkey Kong 64 since a lot of people are having problems with that game in particular. Sure, the ratings of this emulator aren't the highest and it doesn't have the most downloads compared to Megan64, but Tendo64 is truly the best one, guaranteed.
It's a good emulator but how come each of my cheats that I add get deleted whenever I add a new one? Please fix or add the feature where you can keep your own cheat codes instead of the app deleting them after each new code!
For all my trying I couldn't get most emulators to ether map by controls correctly or the games themselves couldn't show textures properly. So far tested on majora's mask, star fox 64, and cruising USA. THIS EMULATOR KILLS IT! Best out there IMO.
Works quite well, sometimes the game will be a touch glitchy but what do you expect? The gameplay and audio is good but the controls are a little sensitive, maybe show a joystick that follows your finger to help? Still a good 9/10 and overall a good emulator.
Slow choppy, laggy, audio lag no graphic options. This is a bare bones version of n64oid. Get n64oid on the Web is 100x better than all of the 64 emulators on the market and it's super old.
For banjo Tooie every emulator could not handle it attall... it would crash for everything. Or DK 64. Bananas wouldn't be able to be picked up for some reason... but this emulator let's everything run great! Even when the frames drop it doesn't crash which is fkn fantastic as fk. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. GG I hope this helps someone realise this emulator is the bomb
Being able to play banjo kazooie on the go makes this already amazing but being able to do it without constant frame drops is even better. If I could make a suggestion, would it be possible to add a immersive/full screen mode for compatible phones. As well as an animated joy stick. As for bugs the only one I've noticed is that the auto hold button options don't work which is a shame but not a big loss. All in all a great app keep up the good work.
I'm usually the one going around downvoting emulators for being literal reskins of mupen64ae, but this is different. It does use a lot of code from mupen, but effort was actually put into making this better. For one, games that didn't work on mupen like Banjo Tooie or Donkey Kong 64, work on Tendo64. The addition of a new video plugin is nice; it supports even more devices and can do widescreen. Lastly, control/video settings being saved for each game individually is extremely handy. Highly recommended.
Even on the PC, N64 is a tough, time consuming thing to get a wide range of games playing right. Tendo64 comes with a bunch of pre-built profiles that are easy to set per game, let's you change audio buffer size, removing the audio lag I was seeing with other 64 emulators, and somehow gets some games running better than I can even get on a powerful gaming rig. Smart, accurate, and deserves to be number one on the Play Store.
Where do i even start.... First i love the way it stay the same with the original mupen but added better and more features like the library system Second its more stable with mupen i can still see few graphical glitches but in this one it has little to no problems with visuals i played paper mario and haven't have any issues at all, this a solid version of mupen , love your work guys keep up the Good Work~! If you dont like ads buy the free ad version its worth it
When I played Super Mario 64 it had NO problems, ads,or glitches. It's so easy to use that even a 2 year old can figure out how to use it. It hardly ever gives you are except when you open the selected game
Slow choppy, laggy, audio lag no graphic options. This is a bare bones version of n64oid. Get n64oid on the Web is 100x better than all of the 64 emulators on the market and it's super old.
Really didn't think it was gonna be better than Mupen64AE, but it is! Even Ogre Battle plays with the backgrounds intact, whereas I tried multiple solutions on mupen and couldn't get it to properly work. Plus the auto download of game covers is a real nice touch, using this one as my main N64 emulator for the time being.
that NO N64 emulator apps currently available for Android are good enough to warrant 5 stars. There are numerous glitches and compatibility issues with them all. And I regret it if I ever rated one 5 stars before. However, this is a good one. Could be the best even.

Trying to edit any graphics plugin instantly force closes Tendo. this is a critical feature!!!! Edit: i may have been a bit harsh on the 1 star, upped it to 3 due to a game that i couldnt play on a previous version now working flawlessly (this game works on very few emulators as it is due to being a ROM hack).
