The Enchanted Books for Android
It's a nice game to play but you will probably need to purchase the hints portion of the game. I found locating the puzzles very difficult cause the weren't very obvious. Once you found the next step to take, solving the puzzles were easy.
Love the game but scene 32 is stuck and I can't go any further. Very frustrating.
I love these games by Syntaxity. Graphics are great, game is not so short you feel cheated after completion, and the puzzles are fun! Keep them coming. I have played them all so far.
great time consuming game. loves the concept worth every cent and more KEEP EM COMING GUYS THANKS FOR THE ENJOYMENT
Enjoyed playing this with my daughter but we did have to use some of the video hints for things we couldn't figure out on our own.
Scene 55 is stuck can't continue please help love the game but can't continue
Some of the puzzles are not so obvious, but they can be figured out if you think outside the box!
Amazing game! I have enjoyed every minute I spent playing it.
I love guessing what to do next and where to go next. The little puzzles are fun.
Very fun game. Short but I definitely enjoyed myself.
This is a wonderful game for someone who just wants to relax. No competition. No stress. Just wish I could turn off the fast travel popups. Great job!
Lovely little game. Good graphics and interesting puzzles. Better now there is a fast link between scenes and better help when you get stuck.
WAS a good game buy I'm not to chuffed about having to go in and out of the game to get the hints otherwise all good
Very enjoyable and well played
INCREDIBLE GAME!!!!! This is my favorite of the Lone Wolf games of the "Dear Nephew" series. As soon as I finished, I immediately purchased the next game, which is downloading right now. Absolutely fantastic series of games, and they just get better and better! Keep making these, Syntaxity! The only games that I like better are the Nancy Drew games. I'm so glad I discovered these Lone Wolf games with Uncle Henry and Dear Nephew.
This is the first game for android that I really enjoyed. My wife and I played it simultameously. I had to debit one star because the clue book got hung at "there is a clue at scene 16" and never advanced. Without some help from the cluebook in my wife's game as she advanced, I think I would have abandoned the game in frustration.
My sister and I played this game together. We really enjoyed it. It's reminiscent of Myst, although the puzzles are simpler here. To those griping about fast travel: SHUT IT! Stop being whiney. It's a larger world than many mobile games, but it's not so big that you can't go through screens that had a lot of time put into each one. Jeez. Be immersed. Take some time to ENJOY the game and not just to finish it.
Says something about drawing over other apps. I won't bother disabling Twilight for this app. So long. Uninstalled! It's my phone, I run what I want!
Excellent game! Trickier than other LW games--had to resort to walk through several times. Possibly because I played it over 3 months, though!? Long play length, book "worlds" very clever, clue feature somewhat vague (maybe more "drill down" help?), graphics terrific, map jumping would be a plus!
Really loved the game. There is some back and forth and there was one puzzle, that was a little bit of a stretch, involving the lab coat, but so worth 2 bucks!
This one is exceptional. Puzzles are just the right difficulty, world is rather large but cleverly broken up into zones so as to keep navigation simple, map is great, clues are just right. A rarity is just how smooth movement is from scene to scene even with detailed graphics. Not too much need to tap around all over every scene looking for that obscure object as in many games. Will be looking for others from this developer.
Well executed. The only gripe is that going from point to point got tedious when following clues, but I suppose there is no way around that.
I enjoyed this very much. There's a bug in the last puzzle though. After it's solved and the item appears, it quickly disappears again. I had to exit and reenter the building and then could find and click on the item.
Bad puzzles. Interactive areas and objects are not clear. You have to tap the bottom part of the curtain at the first screen, while nothing suggests that (not even tapping the curtain). Later you get an iron bar. Why? To break a padlock! So, can I break another padlock using the same bar? No, it only works for that single one. Why? Because there is no logic.
I was given to understand at the start of the game that there was a fourth book that you would explore when you find it. This is not the case, upon finding the fourth book the game ends with a promise that you can explore it in a future game. I found this a big disappointment and very misleading. With 3 books it was not the longest game in the world, how they will manage to get a game out of just one book is beyond me. Some of the puzzles would have been more enjoyable if there was a brief description of how to play them. There was also far too much skipping back and forth, most of the time I was unable to keep track of where I was or were I was supposed to go. This would have been made less annoying had the map allowed quick travel to the different locations.
Love the game, however I have a major problem... One lovely day I started the game up, it force closed for some odd reason, I restarted my phone, started the game back up...same thing...nothing.. Well, after having to reinstall the game I finally got it started only to find out all of my LONG hours of playing were gone...poof...bang..Shazam!! And NO way to retrieve them :( I'm going to refrain from playing for awhile, as I said I have put many many hours into it without using any hints. Is there a possibility of having a cloud save? Or even a way to go in and make a backup myself?? Thanks.
This is the fourth LoneWolf / Syntaxity game I have played and I have really enjoyed all of them. Worth the money. And varied and taxing games and puzzles. Thank you. Keep it up.
I've played all their games and they are always great gameplay. This one kept me busy for quite a few hours. Storyline intriguing. I also like that there is a hint book to tell you places you can do things but not what to do. This allows some guidance but doesn't give away the challenge. Ready for the next game, Lone Wolf!
I love your games, but please please PLEASE add a fast travel option to your maps!!! I mean, we can zip through enchanted books, we should be able to zip over to whatever scene has the next clue or puzzle, etc! Please!!!! And thank you. :-D
except for one puzzle that gave no ideas on how to solve. no hint whether all buttons were to be on or off or what!! it had 2 different stages neither of which gave any indication of desired outcome. U just struggle blindly for an eternity til U stumble on what ever it was they wanted! bad move Dev! That needs to b fixed please. Great game over all.
I keep trying the glass jar in the chimney, I know it should fill with smoke but it keeps telling me nothing happens and try something else! I'm frustrated because I'm stuck in scene 39!!!
Please would you add a skip feature for some puzzles? I hated the circle puzzle in screen 43!
Good length and good value for money. I like that the story has common elements with their other games. I am giving it four and not five stars only in comparison with some truly remarkable games that are out there (The Room, Shardlands etc)
Love their games. With a map system that is so carefully and well executed, it seems perfect for a fast travel implementation. It is my only complaint. A tremendous amount of walking for the sake of walking.
This game was just difficult enough to keep me entertained and not frustrated. I've played one other of their games and will purchase more.
I enjoyed this very much. There's a bug in the last puzzle though. After it's solved and the item appears, it quickly disappears again. I had to exit and reenter the building and then could find and click on the item.
I really have enjoyed all of Lonely Wolf's games. This one was particularly good. We'll worth the price. Can't wait till the next one!
Love the game but cant finish Have tried looking at youtube but that didnt help either

Ever since Lone Wolf became Syntaxity, they have take a money grab approach. Bow you buy the app, then have to purchase hints if you need them. This was a change which showed greed over customer loyalty. There are plenty of other hidden object games that don't shamelessly try to milk you for more money after you've already purchased the game. Shame on Syntaxity for going back through old games and forcing new payment requirements!!
