The Mystery of Blackthorn Castle

I really enjoyed this game. I like the puzzles and hunt to find items. The only reason I didn't give this five stars was because of the two different in-app purchases (hints and fast travel). I'm more of the school of thought that paying money for an app should included the entire app. Even without those purchases, it was a good game. Would highly recommend if you like escape room type games.

Can't navigate it as it keeps jumping to wrong places and cannot work out what I am supposed to find as nothing is shown in the find bar. Regret buying this. Graphics are nice but that's all I can say that is good about it

Good game but having bought it I was annoyed to be asked to pay again for hints and another payment for fast travel. I would have been happier to have paid a bit more at the start rather than have to make more payments

Sorry but this was an excellent game but now seems to have been taken over by new owners. You claim that there is fast travel, but when you try to use it you have to pay for it! Sorry, who do you think you are? Why pay for someting that wasnt there before and isnt very useful? Be realistic and give those who have paid for this game already everything, but dont try to be sneaky. I now distrust this developer

Detailed, realistic and enjoyable. Functions well. UPDATE: I replayed the game to see what the new features looked like after the update; I didn't notice a difference except that the inventory was not fully visible. If I'd been playing for the first time, that would have made the game quite difficult or frustrating. I chose not to pay more for fast travel, but I'll gladly buy their new games for an up-front price.

Was a great game until latest update. I saw where fast travel was added and that is great but app wants me to pay $.99 for the priveledge of using it in the game. Kinda sneaky to add that to an update for those who already have the game.

Everything in this app is there that you need to play the game hins the log a bag to carry your stuff in that's well thought out very good game! Adding the quick travel feature was a great time saver although some people like to take their time

One of the best games EVER! Fun, intriguing, challenging, and beautiful graphics! The only change I would make is an easy option to double click on the map site to the location you want and be instantly transported there, instead of having to consult the map repeatedly, move here and there, etc. That takes a LOT of time, and I wound up with a lot of shoulder pain. This happens to older gamers with repetitive strain injuries and years working at computer jobs. ???? Be kind to us. After my shoulder feels better, I will definitely buy the sequel. Oh, nice background music, too! Kudos, Lone Wolf!

Also would have been good to be able to see the clues when you were solving the puzzle rather than having to go back out. Worth what you pay but only because it's ad free.

Nice puzzler. Will be easy for adults, a bit hard for kids. Very pretty scenes. Easy and fast navigation is a big plus. Mysterious atmosphere, but not too spooky. Some magical elements, but nothing graphic, and not likely to offend most parents.

Looks good, has decent length, good story, and there aren't any of those puzzles that only make sense by a stretch of imagination. Some back tracking though, but not really bad. I like that it works the spatial memory.

Enjoy this game!! But im stuck in labyrinth. I'm already follow blue scene but in the half of path i touch the blue scene and back to previous path. Somebody help me!!!

Its worth the price, but hard to navigate. Wish you can click on where you need to go, then bring you right to the scene. Had to scroll map all over to see where the hints told me to go. On some puzzles it wouldn't let u skip. Had to go to cheats to figure out puzzles, to go further. Had to use hint a lot to figure out what to do next. It was a fun game, just hard to play.

This game is good value for the money. I put it on my phone as I was going to be traveling and wanted something to do on the plane and hanging around airports, etc. I ended up getting several hours of game play. The puzzles aren't terribly hard, my biggest problem was trying to remember where I had seen things. There is a layout available of all the locations you have been to, and a hint system that gives you just enough of a nudge in the right direction (I used it a few times!). I really miss the old adventure style games (King's Quest, Zork, etc.) so if the folks over at Lone Wolf wanted to create something like that I will buy it :-)! But this game is a start in that direction and I will probably buy another one in the series.

I really enjoyed your game and I'll admit I was almost ready to quit I didn't think I'd ever figure out the turn off all the lights thing but I persevered through it and if you start at the the top and work your way down to the bottom you'll shut off all the lights !! Great graphics and great job creating all your games !!

I would like a refund, the game would not let me return to scene 54. I liked enchanted but this was a waste of money. Please refund!

This was fun and time consuming. I thought it was well designed and will look for other games by Lonely Wolf.

So many issues with the download after paying that it was a waste of time.

nice drawings. entertaining but fairly simple game mechanic of find the thing to find another thing in mostly linear fashion.

I expect more from this Dev. $ wasted. Backtracking is excessive; no transport via map view. Boo.

Loved the scenery. Challenging, but not so difficult that you want to give up.

The puzzles are challenging but not overly complicated. You aren't doing a lot of unnecessary running around. It was long enough to make it worth the money. I like that they don't require invasive permissions.

Needs more details of story in the game. Really TELL a story if there is going to be one. IT just didn't feel like the story was much involved with the point of the game.

The graphics are fantastic the puzzles are fun and the game set up keeps you interested. I'd love to see more, a continuation of the story would be fun. Excellent game thanks

Good and challenging (but not ridiculous). Used the clues a few times. Played while i was sick and it really passed the time. I am going to download other games from them now

Only took a few hours, but it was free and entertaining and good for a rainy day!
