8Bit live wallpaper

It's a bit rough around the edges but it's got potential. I think sliders would be better for the settings. Also would be nice if you could make the wallpaper darker/brighter, since the sharp pixel graphics may tear heavily with app icons and even the text of the apps (my phone apps have white font text). Keep up the good work!

Very nice backgrounds and the pixel size is perfect. The only reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 was because there is only one thing moving on the screen : the mushroom. If you could just add some more live monsters or a mage blowing them up I would rate 5 stars.

i have always been skeptical of downloading animated backgrounds or of using any type of background app, because i generally just use my own images. when i ran into this app, i was immediately enamored by the style so i thought i would try it. now i absolutely LOVE this app. it is a little buggy sure, but i dont think it needs much more that it already has, i do enjoy the winter theme, i think the chance it has of appearing is just right, i would like perhaps just more tilesets and thats it. i dont think scrolling is needed either, its not like the newer android base lets you scroll a regular image even. i have now set it to both my home and lock screen, and find myself locking and unlocking my screen just to generate a new map. love seeing the random mushroom guy too.

I've never desired a "Live Wallpaper" before, but this 8Bit design caught my attention. A huge concern for me was the possibility of excessive battery usage. However, I've noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever! 5 stars to that, and 5 stars to the joy it brings me each time I unlock my phone.

I never do these reviews, but I LOVE this background! I would be thrilled to see Kojo (I named the little man who now and again wanders my screen) be able to do more or interact with the background. Simple concept but great payoff. Ty for making this!

I really like this app and the potential it has. Hopefully when it's finished, it will have more than 4 different wallpapers and more animations to each of them. Also, at the moment the app only works at 1080p so it won't look right if you want better quality. Hopefully that will be fixed.

So i like this app fairly well has a lot of potential and hope that it gets the updates it needs noticed that for some reason i the character does not spawn in the snow regions id like to see customization of the character such as apperance and walk speed as well as interaction with him when touching the screen causing him to go in that direction

This is the only live wallpaper I've ever liked. I do wish there was more than just the one guy wandering around. It would be cool if a ventrally you added other potential creatures.

I really love this, the simplicity of it and the art is beautiful. As an improvement I'd love to see more little walking people and also an option so that it's randomly generated only when I turn my phone screen off rather than every time I leave the home screen (this is just nitpicking though, love this wallpaper).

This app is amazing, definalty my favorite wallpaper I have right now. It brings me back to my childhood for all the right reasons! Would love to see more areas and character sprites in the future

Love this live wallpaper, surprised it works on the S8. One suggestion, could you make it so the last path tile in a row could be a rounded off path? I think that would make the paths look much nicer than they do now. Otherwise a great app!

A quaint, nostalgic wallpaper. It does what it sets out to do - display randomly generated maps in the style of an 8bit game over world. What would make it perfect would be a much wider variety of biomes

Love this app, but I'd love it more if there was a way to only display terrain types you want. Personally I only want the grassy terrain and I've seen some say they prefer the snowy terrain. It'd be cool to be able to choose. An option to add more creatures in the same way you can add more forests and stuff would be cool too, I'd love to have a little village going on in my background :D

Loving this wallpaper on my Pixel XL. Wish it would slide left to reveal more when scrolling to more apps. Hope you add a tip button or some sort of dlc, as this app is worth it. Looking forward to what comes next.

I can't get enough of this great wallpaper. The random map generator keeps it fresh too!

Really great! Could there be a minimum as well as a maximum added to the custom controls? I LOVE the monuments! they're really cute and it's disipointin g when there's only one or two when is like ten or twelve. Also being able to chose the little walking guy. Maybe a few different versions or even a little animal or something would be super cool! I just got this today and it has lots of potential! Eagerly waiting for the next update!

Quality wallpaper. Can a feature be added to disable certain 'sets' though? I'd rather just have the green grass version appearing all the time.

Nice app, it does what it says. I suggest making an ice texture for your winter backgrounds. Seeing the water just makes it look off...

From desk top windows 95 to present day cellular 2017, This is the smoothest, coolest, most attractive live wallpaper I've come across. If you could only download 1 app for the lifespan of your mobile, get this one.

I like the randomization every time I come back to the home screen. The random setting uses a little to much water I'd say.

This is awesome! I love all things retro, so a background app that changes constantly to something always new is so cool. Great work!

Perfect, just wish there was a way for you to keep or skip the random scenes and then lock it so it doesn't gen a new one everytime you open an app.

Nice wallpaper, sometimes makes it hard to see icons with the color but it is an interesting concept.
