Avakin Life VR for Android
This a really fun and addictive game, but the VR experience is somewhat lacking. The shopping experience is better than the 3D version. However, the social experience is difficult. Chatting is nearly impossible, as typing a message is extremely tedious. Not being able to see yourself, especially when sitting, walking or lying down creates a weird out-of-body feel. If you can render all the other avakins in a scene, why not my avakin? I have both versions installed and until the VR experience improves, I will mostly stick to the 3D version.
Wish I could have tried it. Got as far as creating a character, signing up through my Google account, then nothing. Cycles back to select account. Reboot phone, same issue... Seemed like it could be fun.
Need more actions and it's so hard to type in VR, how about using microphone? When I'm dancing I can't see myself so how do I know I'm doing it?
Fun experience, however compared to its PlayStation home origins, it still has work to be done. How about having the arm .I've when you move the pointer..So I could wave or point...And voice would be great..Or at least voice to text ability. Wish all the stuff I bought from them in PlayStation home was carried over.
Loved the game but one problem. In VR mode there is no way to access the menu without leaving the game. When you press the app button to go to the menu it is covered by a screen asking if you want to leave so you can't change clothes or anything like that.
Way too far away from the Simps in VR. Controlling in this app is terrible, a and graphics also quite disappointing.
It's is very badly anamaited
You won't be disappointed!
Simply amazingly great
Interesting!
This is what I've been looking for in VR games!! It could use some added features, like swiping on the pad to turn around or being able to see your own body or hands when you walk :) keep it up! You also need to come up with a way better method of communication. The keyboard is a hassle. Or at least support voice typing c:
Keyboard is unusable. It doesn't work half the time and lags. Would be much better if you could just talk without having to type everything. I'm also finding the entire app to lag quite a bit overall on my Daydream. The remote moves slower than in other daydream apps. The environments are neat but actually communicating with others isn't possible right now
Where this game is lacking so far is a usable input design. The keyboard controls are horrendous. Double letters happen a lot. The point and click option (for checking someone's profile or sending a message) works less than half the time. Looking around is ok, you must be standing or at least in a swivel chair otherwise it gets very frustrating to prevent yourself from staring at a wall. But the keyboard input is the worst, very buggy. Also, why didn't they give the option to place furniture in the VR?
A little glitchy sometimes when traveling to rooms. Also VR mode has a LOT of work to be done. Over all love it and very addicting!
First generation is always strange... But I'm enjoying my new Avatar life.
So addictive omg!!
Great for daydream
Awful, it started up on its own about 2-3 hours after I first tried it, put the phone (pixel) directly into VR mode and wouldn't quit, had to restart the phone 2 times to get rid of it. Think this is a bug/virus.... finally got it uninstalled, hope it didn't put anything in the background.
I don't like this game at all people on here are rude and the game sucks. Don't get it

Absolutely hands down best game I've played for Android. I will be playing this game a lot in the future.
