The Rockets is an arcade boss-based shoot 'em up. Take control of your space-ship and starting blasting your way through cool & unique levels. As you progress through the adventure style campaign you'll be able to upgrade your ship and unlock new abilities by spending loot acquired from fallen enemies. *** How are high-scores calculated?
- High-score = DPS * gold_multiplier. The more money you use on upgrades the lower this 'gold_multiplier' is. You'll need to balance the amount of upgrades you use vs. how much 'damage-per-second' 'you will do. Break-even point is around 5 upgrades. (you can reset your upgrades and try different combinations;you won't lose your earned gold)

It's a fun little game with simple yet very aesthetic graphics, and man, do i love it's sorta silly music! One minor (or major to some) problem is bullets shouldn't come from the behind where some part of the screen is covered by your own finger. Also the hit box of the player's ship is way too big for a bullet hell-ish game.

I had beaten chapter 2 already and ever since the update I can't play them anymore -_-.. That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen! They were free at first and now I can't play!? Worst update of the year award guys!!

A truly great game, I originally got this via app of the day but I soon realised what an addictive retro style game this was. My only improvement would ne that for the bonus levels you could carry on the ships from previous stages. A brilliant game.
