Virtual Villagers 2 FREE

I played this back when it was a PC game, and I like the app almost as much. YES, this free version will cap your population at 9. Which sucks. BUT, if you space out your births (say, every 7-8 years) and don't research Medicine (so they die around 60), you absolutely can play this game through with only 9 villagers. I sort of like it actually... it adds a degree of challenge.

Well I'm disappointed. The android version of VV1 was great, so I was expecting this to be better than what it turned out to be. The collecting of tech points seems to go on forever. And with the population cap the game has to be played for days before making any real progress. The PC version was much better. A quick tip for new players: if you want to jump time, set game speed to 2x and change ur mobile time setting. Two hours will give a two year jump. Also I found that by setting preference of a female to parenting and raising her skill to trainee before the population hits 9, I reached atleast 13 population.

They're so flattened in animation that they don't look like people! Not to mention the game lags like crazy when you try to move them around, and the graphics are unclear. This is nothing like the first game.

The graphics are worse than the first game. Seriously? And it won't let me make the screen larger (pinching or whatever) that origins/ a new home does. Grabbing villagers takes forever. Uninstalling.

Like many others who have reviewed I really can't plan because the people are so distorted and don't respond to being moved. I was debating getting the paid app but likely won't now. I'll stick to playing on computer

Omg why is it so hard to get food!? I know youre supposed to have a trained farmer or higher and then they fish and I get a lot of food, after a few real days the algae comes and idk how to remove It. So the coconuts keep getting collected and I have a lot of food again but they still harvest them untill they are gone so the patch of dirt I use grows food but then they kept on getting eatin bye birds! My villigers end up dieing and idk how to break those vines to the temple. I NEED HELP PLZ!

The population limit for the free version is 9 ppl.... but I have 10 villagers right now. They did it by themselves so do I have to pay full version or is it ok if they have more but on their own??? Otherwise awesome game! DROIDX2

It was ok, besides the fact that the screen kept going black whilst I was playing and all my people do is die even though I look after them and everything! Even the little kids just die! Was fun until I got to this one level which I can't pass cause all my people die. Tried to pass it 4 times, but same result! Uninstalling

Love it but... the graphics of the ppl r weirdly stretched/warped. Usually always have virtual villagers on my phone n my phones r always galaxy S models... first time I've had this problem n I'm not impressed. Fix plz... uninstalling

TIPS: when you have a pot to make stew, make the stew with herb 3~3~6 clockwise orange flower at the bottom and two blue flowers at the top. This stew makes ur people full health. Makes ederly live forever if u keep feeding them it. To open the crate drag 3 master builders over it. If you need food desperately pause game. Drag all children to the sand where a mushroom appears. Wait till mushroom appears may take minutes. When mush appears drag children on top of it, then unpause game. Watch and repeat (:

The 1st game is great. I love it so much. Only problem is I've played it several times and would like to see something new. This game would be so great if the graphics weren't so awful. I played for just a little time and can't help but hate it. It's difficult to drag villagers around. Mushrooms spawn in the same spot everytime. The tutorial is very irritating. It will tell you to do something and interrupt you when you're doing it. I wish this game would live up to its former's potential.

I've just started playing this version and it wont save whenever i exit the game, and no offence, the people look a bit creepy. The 1st virtual villagers game had better quality people. (-; plz fix the saving part

Why do the graphics suck so bad!? The people are so thin and their heads aren't even on their bodies, its terrible. I loved the first VV... And want to play this one soooo bad. I keep trying but the graphics are BULL!!! Waaa waaa why why why! Obviously your company is capable of making graphics... The first game is NOTHING like this! I'm so disappointed! This game is really great, but how do you clear the algae in the ocean? How do you teach the villagers how to climb? I've ran out of food and my vilagers are dying out and I dont know how to get food since the algae is in the ocean and it wont let me pick berries. Please help and i will give five stars!!!!

i got 2 women pregnant by 1 man. LOL love it sooo sooo sooo much! make more games like this. but how do u clear up the algae in the ocean? they cant go fishing coz of tht and last time i checked there only 25 food coz they cant fish 4 food. help plz 4 tht situation.

This is a fantastic game! I love that we can change the speed of the game. It's very helpful when you want things to go faster, slower, or even pause. The concept is really cool. I love the puzzles and collectables. One thing I wish you would fix though is when I drop adults onto children, I want to raise their parenting skill, but I can't. The game just tells me that I need to buy the full version to increase my population, which is annoying because I only want to raise the parenting skill. Fix it please?

The app works wonderfully, but in the game u can only have a max of 9 villagers & if u only have kids of 1 gender (which happened twice) u have to start all over. & there is NO BIG FINISH. I didn't even kno it was over! U repair the gong & its over & done with, nothing even tells u u finished the game.

What happened to virtual villagers 3? Was it ever made for android? I want to but the full version, finish it, and continue the story by playing the next game, even if I have to buy it, but I don't know if I CAN! Please, if you can, I would LOVE it if you could make VV3 for android! Also, could you make another Virtual Families? I love your games! They're SOOO fun! ^-^

My villagers are paper thin and for some reason look like apes. They're all hunched over and there's a bit of a lag when I'm trying to pick them up. I played this game maybe a year or two ago on my iphone and it wasn't like this. Please fix! I love origins, but this isn't living up to it.

Tech points need to be quicker/easier to achieve. I'm out of food and ways to get it. Villagers will die before I can do anything. If so, I'll uninstall :(

Really like the game. Population is at 31, more than enough food once I got the algae cleared, 3 elder totems (Rip Amago, Guapi, and Mali, you guys were awesome, can't say the same about your lazy descendents Lol) but how can I make more males?! The only ones I have are 50+ and no one wants to go indoors with elderly men! LOL The next male I have is 2 yrs old! Somebody PLZ help me with this!!!!!

Its an OK game, not the best and is battery consuming. How do u get algae out? How do you fertilize the dry soil? How do you get the sharp tool? The population doesn't matter u can have more kids. I left the game and had 2 more kids when I returned. They had kids on their own. I didn't breed them.

I have this game on my laptop and downloaded this with high hopes. I was very disappointed when I tried to open it and it kicked me out. I kept trying to open it and even uninstalled and reinstalled it three times but it still kicked me out. Please fix this as I know its a fantastic game .

after have 9 person.. to get more make stew use herb 2 flowers orange color at southern plus 1 red flower near dam.. bring ur people eat it then they will feel embracing.. try untill there going indoor n get the baby..

Every time I try to move a person in the game, such as to heal another tribe member, it doesn't work. I can't get tribe members to move at all in order to play the game. I cannot select them, let alone actually put them to use in the game. And they do not look 3D, they look more 2D. And they run at high a considerably high speed when I try to select or move them.

ok the game is good but its just one problem that kind of annoys me, the people look like half their size ( i mean i know they were starving but i didnt know it was this bad.) i dont know if its just the free verson or if both versions are like this. if you could fix the problems that would be nice.

Had this game years ago for PC and loved it. Super disappointed in app. Graphics are distorted: blurry, and villagers are elongated. App is unresponsive to touch, so can't make villagers work. Super disappointed that the app is so horrible. Had purchased the full version, and immediately sought a refund. So disappointed.

love this game so much! there's no ads or something like 'force close'. oh, it said that the population limit is 9, but when I paused it and not playing it about 2 or 3 days then I unpause, I found my population is 11! is it a glitch or what? :D

U guys haven't even had an upgrade since last year. Even on ur paid versions. R u guys still out there taking care of this app? I'm not spending money till I know that

I'm trying to figure out to open the box n also get reid of the algae n also move the rocks out of the streams. U guys to give out more hints here n there. I have got a few ppl that can do more then one thing n they still can not the food situation straighten out. I love this game.

I love this game and I highly recommend it. My only complaint would be that the graphics are kinda bad. They were a lot better on virtual villagers 1. The people are hard to pick up and drag as they are so skinny. Please fix! Otherwise love this game! :)

I luv this game. 9 is the limit for u to have villagers but i've actually got 40. it was 42 cause one lady gave birth to triplets, but then two elderlys died. there is a stew that makes villagers hook up n make babies lol.

I played the first Virtual Villagers game and loved it. I love most of LDW's games but this seems like a huge downgrade from the first game instead of an upgrade. The graphics are horrendous, much worse than the first game and the villagers look squished and are hard to tap on. Just terrible, unfortunately.

Anyway, it says 9 population max. I have 11 population right now. All you need to do is get the parenting skills up for both a male and female. Leave the skill checked in, if you want, I did. And they will mate on their own with one another, walking into a hut. One of my males had just

Just make a male and or female good at parenting before you reach nine people. They can all have experience in anything else (like when you first start playing and aren't ready for children). If you make a man good at parenting you will have more children faster, depending on the amount of 18+ women. Also, the total limit of people is 40 but you can exceed that as well by getting to level three in the tech right bellow farming (forgot what its called). You exceed the limit when having twins and/or triplets

There is a simple way to bypass the population limit of nine. If you select a villager who is at least a trainee parent and make parenting their skill set, then they will continue to have children on their own. Don't get above twenty villagers before you clear the algae! The farm is not enough to support that many, and food will continuously drop to zero before harvest.

Its fun to watch your villagers grow and learn, it feels very accomplishing to solve new puzzles, although its very sad to see then die :'( its also exciting to see a new baby :) - I just wish the free version could get more than 9 people.. sucky:(-

Is a good game, except it decides to freeze every now and again. But then all I have to do is exit and restart. If you want to cheat, fast forward the time on your phone while app is still running. Havent done it on a mobile before so we'll see if I can put my timr back to normal without completely screwing the game up. Anyone manage to make a fertility potion????!
